Jul 13, 2011I have a nokia E7, which for the most part have been good. Most of the issues i have had with it have been PICNIP's, but now, it's starting to bug me. Some time ago, when the phone was about 6 weeks old, it developed what i assumed to be a hardware bug. No matter what i plugged into the USB port, it told me "USB-device not supported. Remove the unit" and if I press ok it says "error in the USB connection, remove the cable" (I'm translating this from Danish, so this might not be the exact English error code). As the error persisted through a hard reset, i shipped the phone to repairs, where they changed the radio module, where the USB port is soldered to. Now, about a month after i got the phone back, the error has returned. As i doubt i have hit the statistical "faulty unit" lottery twice, i'm starting to wonder if this error is also a "problem in chair, not in phone", so have anyone encountered the same problem? And any ideas how to resolve it?

Apr 10, 2011Nokia E72 Keep getting a list of old devices (phones that have been paired before) every time I open Ovi Maps Have to click 'cancel' to close the pop up of recent devices before clicking 'drive' to search for destination. How do I remove the devices in the list or better still stop the list from popping up at all? Checked in my Bluetooth settings and only one device listed which is my car which doesnt appear in the list that pops up

1. Are they intend to put in final production of the E7 device the Symbian^4 O.S?
2. If not, will it be possible to upgrade this device from Symbian^3 to Symbian^4 O.S?
That is, I think, the crucial problem in final production because the Symbian^3 is breaking in the everything except in visual part of UI which is a little bit démodé.As I can see on the Symbian page they are rushing to change this with a lot of changes in this part of O.S.it will be very disappointing to me baying such a device and after half a year faced with a new O.S. (specially UI which is most important for users-the name told us this-UI)

Oct 23, 2012I keep getting the 'C' memory low message. I only have 17.7mb left I have most items on E mass memory. I Have gone through the C memory and the below are the only items with any significant file size. Config = 86kb, Log = 157kb, Mail for exchange 26kb, Place widget 17kb, Sound files 118kb, adimagetemp 12kb, Bur_debug 43kb, debug.log 21kb, ka3d-log.txt 89kb, MdfpluginArchive.txt 27kb, Everything else is eithr 0 or bytes only, with about three more less than 10kb each.
what I can delete safely. I am no expert, however I do not see why the above quantity should be using up so much on the C memory?
I have taken back to factory settings and transferred data to PC under Nokia Suite Make Space option.

Sep 22, 2011I sent my less-then week old E6 in for repair becuase of the restart-problem. I called them on monday, and was told I'd get a call from a cust service rep. I called again today (Thrusday), and was told someone would call w/in 48 hours. Remarkably, I actually received a call.
They could not fix the E6 They offered a new, not-refurb'd N8, and not an E6 as a replacement, citing the N8 as an "upgrade".
Figure that one out.Worst_Service_EVER I do not want the N8, as it has no qwerty keyboard, but that was the only option given. She gave me 2 days to call her back after thinking about it.

Apr 25, 2012Iv been using this phone for like 2 years and its working allright but since today i tried installing NetQin mobile guard on my phone but my phone got stuck and rebooted itself,after that it kept on turning on and rebooting itself.
i tried every method,hard reset,soft reset,taking out the sim card and memory then turning it on but no use! somthing must have gone wrong with the firmware but i cannot reinstall it because when ever i connect my phone with my pc and nokia pc suite,the phone doesnt stop rebooting so everytime the connection also fails.i dont understand that what should i do with my phone,i cannot find any solution to it.
