MY PHONES HANGS A LOT. MOST OF DA time I have to check in my inbox directly if I have recd any SMS or not it not even shows new messages nor does it gives a alert. To reactivate I have keep on booting again again to reactivate the alert..how can I resolve this
View 3 RepliesI just bought this e7 phone last month and its been nothing but trouble... It hangs and i have to long press the powe button to shut it down and restarts and then when it comes on.it hangs within the next 30 seconds and this process continues into a routine... I tried softformatting it and it doesnt hang anymore but a new problem is generated... It pratically keeps screaming system error...i can't do much with the phone. I dont know which condition is better anymore,the phone's previous state or its new state...

View 1 Replies View RelatedI got E5.00 with 081.004 and c00.01 software. Recently purchased. Few weeks back I have noticed some thing strange. While on the call, the recipients, signals was low and it its loss the connectivity, my phone gets stuck for 2,3 min with disconnect icon. When the icon is gone, I'm not able to make any call till I reset the unit. Also when I select the phone in to offline mode. The phone restart automatically. I did hard reset and .Etc. Still the problem there.

My old E70 is best in that case.This fu... device hangs up always after date change to 1 year past. I do that to install application which has certificate expired .After reset (8 secs. power btn. press) situation is still persist - hangs on pulpit and no reaction for any button but power (8 sec. reset).

Initially the phone used to abruptly hang and would require the battery to be taken out & reinserted to start the phone. After the Firmware update the problem got reduced but now the phone hangs and automatically restarts. This is quite frequent & very irritating. I have tried the hard & soft reset but the problem still remains the same. The firmware that i am using is 054.005 / make - Malaysia.

View 2 Replies View RelatedToday I played with speed dialing and accidentally set my own number as the mailbox number(assigned speed dialing No. 1) and I can't seem to find any way to correct this(to chnage the assigned number). Can anybody suggest to me how to change the assigned speed dialing number For specifically No 1?And I also noticed something strange that everytime I call anybody on my list after dialling window message it is always followed with Active divert alert message window.I never noticed this before...how do I get rid of this annoying divert alert message eevrytime I call anybody else when there's no diverting that took place.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSince updating to 410.21.010, my E71 occasionally shows a "Insert SIM card" message.This is rather odd, as it's not feasible to do so (the battery blocks the slot), and the SIM hasn't had any trouble before. Worse still, when this occurs the phone becomes entirely useless - not only can I not access running apps (and the model doesn't require a SIM for that), I can't even turn it off!Upon removal of the battery to forcibly restart the phone, it starts just fine, SIM and all - so the card isn't poorly seated or anything like that.
View 4 Replies View RelatedMy Nokia E7-00 hangs every time I try to open Application Manager to uninstall applications - it says "scanning memory" and hangs there. Only way to come out of it is to hard reboot the phone. I tried reinstalling the device software from PC Ovi Suite and even though the reinstall completed successfully, it still hangs just the same as before. As a result, I am unable to uninstall ANY applications?

Often when dialing a number (or just entering the digit) that starts with a "1", the phone will freeze, sometimes only recoverable by removing the battery. If you start with any other digit, there is no issue at all.
Ever since the Anna update, The E7 freezes when the "other caller" hangs up. This was some time ago addressed in the FAQs "to be resolved with the next update". Well, the update is installed, it still freezes, and the FAQ has disappeared.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have bought a Nokia E71 from a friend and when trying to download something from the Ovi store it asks for my user name and password, but says my user name and password are wrong and won't connect. I am using the same ones I use to connect to Ovi on my computer and it accepts them OK. Could this be because the previous owner's user name and password have been stored somewhere on the phone and as a security measure it won't let me in with my user name and password?
Does anyone know what I can do to be able to log in to Ovi on my phone so that I can download an application? The one I want at the moment is Sports Tracker so that I can check how many miles I do when going for a walk. I could perhaps find it online and download straight from their website, but I do really need to be able to download things through Ovi if required.
I recently downlaoded a bunch of ringtones off of the internet, and I also recently added another email account to my tour. I Assigned different alert tones to the 2 email addresses, sms messages, bbm messages, and facebook alerts. I have found that when I get a message, and the assigned alert tone is activated, as soon as that tone turns off anoter different alert is then activated. I cannot figure out why or how to prevent this from happening.
View 6 Replies View RelatedThis is only the second time this has happened since I got the phone a few weeks back.I have all of my messages set to different specific ringtones. My SMS to one, my MMS to one, my email to one etc. So tonight I rcvd an email and instead of playing the tone it always plays that it is set for (one of the generic preloaded notifier tones)... it played my SMS tone (which is an actual song tone) to alert me to my email.
And NO I didnt recieve a new SMS at the same time. That folder is empty and the only red star alert was on my email envelope. Like I said this is very, very few and far between but why would this happen??I went over every one of my sound/alert settings and they are all the way they should be set for my liking.
my E6 seems to always show a 3G connection icon. I am not surfing the internet though and everything is set not to make connections. WiFi is priority 1.

I tried to switch between phone and memory card in message saving settings - it did not helped.
I have just compared E-63 and 5233 both the phones have same 2 mega pixel camera and also have same resolution of 1600*1200 and there is a huge difference between in there pictures which are clicked at the same time and location when i m seeing in the PC.
