I don't seem to have that trigger in the version of smart actions on my new Droid 4, though? Is that a hardware sensor limitation? Or do I need to change a setting somewhere to make that trigger come up in the list?

After I downloaded some free apps and games (level meter, angle meter, need for speed shift) that use the phone's motion sensor, I noticed the sensor is off by a few degrees. Someone suggested a factory reset so I done that and it made my phone worse (froze all the time and took ages to start up) then someone suggested to wipe the cache partition? So I done that and it worked for less than 20 mins and went back to the same issue. Sometimes the start up sound works but barely ever. Can't even hear sound on phone calls.

Got mine and can't download any of the PS games.If you select "Get Games" it takes you to the game choices, pick a game and it goes to Gameloft site.Jump through the hoops there, get a text message with a link. Click on that link and it takes you right back to the Gameloft site. Got a hold of AT&T and got told it's not their problem.
