Dec 14, 2012I have seen Raging Thunder game in Nokia XpressMusic 5800 and also that is working great on that phone but when i try to find this game for my mobile (Nokia 500) i can't find it. I just wanna know why it is not working because Nokia 500 has nearly double specs then Nokia 5800.

Aug 25, 2010I have had the Desire (unlocked on Rogers for about 2 weeks and it has worked well in Toronto. I seem to get data from from HSPA, 3G and Edge (get Hs, 3Gs and Es on the notification bar). I arrived yesterday in Thunder Bay and cannot get any data there. I have called Rogers and they have reset the data or whatever they do but no change. I have checked all my APN settings, ensured that I have checked to use mobile connections and done a hard reset of the phone. Nothing works. I not that I have a choice of WCDMA, GSM or auto WCDMA or GSM. I cannot set this on WCDMA without it reverting to the auto position. I suspect that Thunder Bay may have no 3G service and my phone is not dropping to 2G although my experience in Toronto suggests otherwise.
I flew to Kenora tonight and we stopped briefly in Fort Frances where I was able to connect to the Dryden Municpal Telephone System GSM network. The E lit up and it appeared that data was being sent but it didn't get through. This seemed to eliminate the possibility that the radio is simply dead. Incidentally, bluetooth and wifi are working fine as is the voice radio. I have seen it suggested on redflagdeals.com that I need to have the phone rooted to get access to 2G as this was blocked by Telus. I would appreciate anyone's input on this issue. I will be spending 3 or 4 months in Thunder Bay over the next while and need data access. If rooting the phone will do the trick, then I will need to get someone to do it for me as I am a little reluctant to try that myself.

Fixes I have tried: -plugging it in to charge through the wall, computer and car, no difference -bought a new battery, no difference It will not power on so I can even reload the OS or anything.

Dec 24, 2010I am using a C7 with the built in Acrobat reader LE 2.5. The application is unable to open any password protected PDFs. The acrobat reader LE 2.5 on E63 works fine.

Feb 10, 2012I upgraded my C7 to Belle now. Bad news: When I receive a mail or SMS that contains a link to a web page, I cannot open it. What happens is:I first get a notification sying 'Loading'. Then, one or two seconds later, it says 'Loading failed.
I am not 100% sure if this started with Belle. I installed quite a few application after I upgraded to Belle, so maybe it's one of those that causes the problem.
What I did, of course, was to check Application Settings > Default Applications > Browsing internet That's set to 'Internet', which I believe is what it should be. (I also tried to reset everything there, still nothing.)
I really, really, really wouldn't want to wipe the whole phone, re-install belle, re-install all of the applications.Is there a way to check what really gows wrong and fix it?

As soon as the phone hasproblems, I thought the hard reset would fix it and in part it was so, it was not for the fact that I can not access programs: Nokia store, Nokia maps, Shazam, Traveler, F -Secure, social, and probably others.
