I had to factory reset my phone. I can see all my games in my application manager as I made sure to save them to the mass memory not the phone memory.Anyway, I can't get the icons to pop back up into the Applications folder so I can play them. Any suggestions?

After I upgraded my app world, my app memory usually decrease automatically whenever I browse or play games on my phone. I need to reset my phone so that the free memory will be in its original state. What to do so that my memory will not diminish automatically.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have bought this mobile phone for one month, and I can't use the app manager.I have searched in other forums but I didn't find any useful answer.So I going to explain my problems: Always that I run the app manager it prompts a message that says: "Operation fail" maybe it's not a correct translation, I have the phone in Spanish. Ok if I press the download icon it appears that there are not available applications, if I do the same with the update icon appears the same text and the "operation fail" message.If I try to download anything from the OVI or from maemo.org, It start to do it but a few second later it pront the next message: "Impossible download ........" "don't find the package from the app" this appears with everything I try to download.Someone can help me? maybe I need to do something in my mobile.The only thing I have done is upgrade it to the software version: 10.2010.19-1

sometimes i started a game buy using xbox live it is so difficult to close when i press the back button (to close the game/apps)it straight pop out the multitasking screen (which should only appear only when holding the Back button) and i choose the app i wish to close agianbut same thing happensometime even worst when i only open one game/appit cannot be close and cannot go back to home screenbecause when i press the Home button (when the game/apps running) the window Tellme pop out ........
I'v tried updating the software, but i cant connect to nokia update the catalogue. nither can i connect to the apps catalogues and same goes for the ovi catalogue. the error it gives me is connection timed out error. i connect through wi-fi, and i can use the internet through the browser, no probs their. their is another poster with this same problem, but the solution he got didnt work out for me. i updated throught the pc but the update didnt fix anything.

But now a days whenever I open application manager it immediately gives the message "Operation Failed". But the window remains open. Even download from OVI was also not allowed before and after this message started coming.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI did a partial restore using the Nokia Suite, selecting only the "Device settings an applications" content (I wanted to restore a theme that I wasn't able to download again without purchasing a second time). The restoral was successful and I have the theme back. The problem is that several other themes that I no longer want were also put back on my N8. I go to Settings>Application manager>Installed apps, however none of the restored themes are listed (they are all taking up Device Memory). how I can delete these items from my phone and thus free up the memory they are occupying?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI do have a few months old X6, which has worked quite fine so far. Now, surprisingly Music Player gives just "System Error" when trying to use it i.e. trying to play a song from the lists. I can play the songs direct from the X6 file manager, but not by the Music Player.
I've done all the normal stuff, e.g. installed firmware again, hard reset, etc. without any success. Seems to be that the library index, or related has been corrupted. Library updating does not work neither. Any ideas? Does anyone now where to find the library index (or related) file to be deleted? And furthermore to re-build the index again?
i recently upgrade my x-play to the 2.3.4 version.and one thing im upset about is that i cant play the games i got free, like the sims 3, madden nfl, and star battalion.the star battalion ask me to download the game data again and the sims 3 and madden would start but then close itself in a few second.

Anybody else get the Play for AT&T? Got mine and can't download any of the PS games.If you select "Get Games" it takes you to the game choices, pick a game and it goes to Gameloft site.Jump through the hoops there, get a text message with a link. Click on that link and it takes you right back to the Gameloft site. Got a hold of AT&T and got told it's not their problem.
