Jul 7, 2010I updated my firmware on my Nokia N97 as i have been having numerous problems with dropped calls, my phone freezing and apps dissapearing from my home page. I had to reset my phone constantly as it would freeze in a call.
I updated my firmware to version 22.0.110 yesterday 06 July 2010. Now i cannot hear the other person on the phone calls. I try to adjust the volume level on the side to make it louder but this doesn't help. I reinstalled and it still is the same.
My phone is now worse than before now i cannot even make phone calls as i cannot hear the other person, but they can hear me clearly. Can someone help or are experiencing the same problem after the upgrade?

I'm still just hearing my generic ringtone.Also when I call or receive a call from someone in my address book, it doesn't show that person's name - it just shows their number.Is there a way I can get the designated ringtones to work and a way I can see the name of the person that's calling me instead of just their number?

Aug 22, 2010my ex-girlfriend sent me a video text on my nuron from the kids saying happy birthday to my mom. i can play the video just fine, but there is no audio attached to it. i called tech support and was bumped up to tier 2, but they were unable to help me. all they said is that maybe the nuron doesn't support it. it can take videos with audio, can play Internet and movies, but can't receive a simple video text with audio?
does anyone else have this problem? were you able to solve it?i did forward the text to my wife's friend and she forwarded it back to me as is and it started playing. so i have no idea what's going on with it.

Oct 20, 2011I have a C3 and have a problem with the call volume. By this, I mean that it's so low I'm not able to hear the caller. This will go on for a while and will then suddenly pick up and I'll be able to hear the caller clearly. I know how to adjust the call volume and it is on maximum.

Dec 7, 2011I recently purchased the C2-00 (RM-704). I have thoroughly tested the phone and am happy with its features except for an issue with low volume while using bluetooth with a hands free car kit. I know it is a basic phone but the ability to use a bluetooth hands free car kit was one of my mandatory requirements The issue seems to only be the output volume through the cars' speakers. I do not have this issue with any other phone, including Nokia C2-01 and Nokia E71, and other non-Nokia devices. When making calls the other party seems to hear me fine, indicating that the microphone volume is OK, but it is very hard for me to hear the other party even at maximum volume. Due to the road noise I have even had to pull over and stop the car so that I can have a conversation, which totally defeats the purpose of having a bluetooth hands free car kit.

Mar 20, 2012I've just updated my C1-02 to software V06.15. Alas, the max volume for handsfree calls via Bluetooth is still far too low. It's unusable in a moving car. This problem already existed half a year ago in the previous two software versions. Also, the address book isn't transferred correctly.
I use a TomTom Via 125 nav for handsfree calls, but Parrot users have reported the same problems with the C1-02.

Oct 8, 2011actually get my E5 to PLAY my music. I have transferred some songs from my PC to my phone by USB. I must be honest and say that I'm a complete 'technophobe', but even so, I was delighted to see that ALL my albums and each song appeared in the relevent folder.
However, when I go to play them and click on the particular song I want, I get a green bar that gradually moves to the right and it says "now playing" - but I cannot hear it. Neither does it work with the earpiece.
Do I have to wait until all of the green bar has filled before I can hear it or what?
I don't know what the OVI suite is and I certainly do not want to connect to the Internet as I don't have any free time on it. There must be an easy way of playing what is obviously there, but I cannot access it.

Sep 27, 2013I can't find any option to turn off hearing aid mode on my phone!! It is actually deafeningly loud and everyone I call complains of being able to hear an echo of their own voice.
I got a new Telus HTC One the other day and noticed that little ear icon in the notification area.. So I searched around and everyone asking about it on the web seemed to be given the same solution (go into settings/call and turn off hearing aid mode)- but the option, as far as I can tell, is completely absent from my phone.
My One is rooted and running Android 4.1.2 at the moment... I know the 4.3 update will be rolling out to Telus customers over the next few weeks so I've been crossing my fingers that the new update will fix this issue, but I'm sure there has to be a way I can do it in the short run. Is there any way to show hidden options on a rooted phone?

The call comes through fine when I do that. I have tried pulling the battery several times, but this does not correct the problem. Feb 2, 2015I am having issue with playback issue on my new LG G3. I have synced up to 5000 - 6000 songs from my itunes library to my 128gb sand disk micro sd card using isyncr. The issue is that randomly I will hear pops or glitches, I am uncertain as to what is causing this though I did not experience any issues when the music was stored on the internal memory. I have tried another music player app (Shuttle) but that did not sort the issue.
