I have a Nokia N5230 Nuron phone and I want to hear the audio from the built in FM receiver using my Bluetooth handset. The system keeps telling me that I have to plug a wired headset to the phone. Is there a way around this?
View 3 Repliesmy ex-girlfriend sent me a video text on my nuron from the kids saying happy birthday to my mom. i can play the video just fine, but there is no audio attached to it. i called tech support and was bumped up to tier 2, but they were unable to help me. all they said is that maybe the nuron doesn't support it. it can take videos with audio, can play Internet and movies, but can't receive a simple video text with audio?
does anyone else have this problem? were you able to solve it?i did forward the text to my wife's friend and she forwarded it back to me as is and it started playing. so i have no idea what's going on with it.

I recently updated my nokia 5800 to v5 from v4, after update my radio and Bluetooth has stopped working completely. When I goto Radio it gets hanged instantly only option I have is to click on red button or menu button, but radio app keeps running in back ground. When I tried to turn on my Bluetooth I gets a error message 'Unable to perform Bluetooth Operation'. When I got to Albums and tried to send any music file via Bluetooth I get a message 'Unable to connect'. I had already tries hard resetting and re-installing firmware through OVI suite, but I am still facing this problem.

Yesterday i went home and activated blutooth on the phone.It showed message of the features it found and seems to connect (radio showed the connect icon) but then just did a reset and reboot.I tried several times. Every time after/while pairing with the radio the lumia just reboots itself.
I bought the nokia C2-01 in march. After two months the radio and bluetooth is not working. When I click on the radio it always shows Radio Off (with or without the headset). And in the case of bluetooth The option On is not working. It always shows Off. I reset all the settings but nothing happened. And the sw cannot be updated through phone updates.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'd like to use my E71 for streaming music via Spotify and I have been using a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter with various speakers and headphones, but the sound quality is always bad. The sound quality is equally as bad when playing high bitrate mp3s via real player, so I don't think it's just Spotify.
There is also some hiss produced, but this can be mitigated by having the E71 volume turned up to maximum and using an inline volume control on the headphones to turn the volume down. But the audio quality is still bad and seems to be missing a lot in the mid range.
If I were to get a Bluetooth headset or a Bluetooth to 3.5mm adapter so that I could use my own headphones, would this improve the audio quality as it bypasses the 2.5mm plug on the device completely, or is the audio still going to be bad due to some underlying problem in the way the E71 decodes MP3s?

This is all well and good if you have the radio on and AUX selected. But if you are listening to FM radio or a CD etc you don't hear any voice guidance from Nokia Maps.
This is a question directed at Nokia Maps Developers. Can a setting be created that allows you to select audio output via bluetooth? If you could select it to go via the Voice/Phone call Profile, like for instance the Speech input works on Windows Phone, for reading/replying to text messages, then when ever there is a direction to be spoken, the car bluetooth would treat it as a phone call, cut sound to the radio and speak the direction through the speakers no matter what the radio was outputting.If the above doesn't make sense then please ask me as this would be a worth while setting to be developed.
I have 5800 with version 40. When I go to establish a Bluetooth connection between the phone and my car stereo with BT, the phone finds the car audio receiver but fails to pair .
In the phone help section , it say I need to first assign a pin code to the phone and then enter the same number on the radio receiver and then start pairing .
I have looked all over and can not find any menu on my phone that let me input any pin number . I have tried numbers like 12345 and 1234 on the radio receiver but failed .
Does any one knows how to input the pin number . This apparently is not the Sim number .

I updated my firmware on my Nokia N97 as i have been having numerous problems with dropped calls, my phone freezing and apps dissapearing from my home page. I had to reset my phone constantly as it would freeze in a call.
I updated my firmware to version 22.0.110 yesterday 06 July 2010. Now i cannot hear the other person on the phone calls. I try to adjust the volume level on the side to make it louder but this doesn't help. I reinstalled and it still is the same.
My phone is now worse than before now i cannot even make phone calls as i cannot hear the other person, but they can hear me clearly. Can someone help or are experiencing the same problem after the upgrade?

I'm still just hearing my generic ringtone.Also when I call or receive a call from someone in my address book, it doesn't show that person's name - it just shows their number.Is there a way I can get the designated ringtones to work and a way I can see the name of the person that's calling me instead of just their number?

The problem is that the radio will only work once the wired headset is connected, as the cable is used as an aerial. Is there any way in which I can overcome this problem. I have tried plugging the wired heaset in so that the radio works through that, but then there is no sound through the Bluetooth headset. For the record, I have experienced an irritating problem since having upgraded to 2.3. I downloaded a few skins off the HTC Hub after which the downloading notification arrows on the top information bar as well as the download information on the information sheet could not be removed. I tried many options, to the extent of even deleting the apps concerned, but the notifications remained. The only way that I was able to clear them was to perform a full factory reset causing much information to be lost. I wonder how many others have experienced the same problem. Other than this the upgrade did improve a number of functions.

View 10 Replies View RelatedSo my battery was totally down, i was at a friends place and forgot the charger. When i came back home and started it up, suddenly the wifi didn't connect. I went to wifi settings and it just said error. After that i found out that bluetooth, the radio, the g-sensor and even the light behind the buttons under the screen all didn't work (the buttons themselves do still work). Assuming this is a software failure and not a hardware one (cuz these are all really different components) i thought a factory reset would bring them back to life, but even that didn't work. So now i'm stuck with an empty phone ( i can't download all my apps back cuz i have a data limit) which is half broken. I sent a mail to htc already, but i hope i could get an answer from someone here faster.
