View 2 RepliesI'd like to use my E71 for streaming music via Spotify and I have been using a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter with various speakers and headphones, but the sound quality is always bad. The sound quality is equally as bad when playing high bitrate mp3s via real player, so I don't think it's just Spotify.
There is also some hiss produced, but this can be mitigated by having the E71 volume turned up to maximum and using an inline volume control on the headphones to turn the volume down. But the audio quality is still bad and seems to be missing a lot in the mid range.
If I were to get a Bluetooth headset or a Bluetooth to 3.5mm adapter so that I could use my own headphones, would this improve the audio quality as it bypasses the 2.5mm plug on the device completely, or is the audio still going to be bad due to some underlying problem in the way the E71 decodes MP3s?
there such a device for Nokia phones? I would like a little remote (preferably something that can connect to my steering wheel) so that I can change tracks on my phone via bluetooth. is there such an animal? I don't need anything fancy, as I already have blueooth telefony integration with my car -- I just want to change audio tracks easily.

For the second time now I have lost the AD-63 adapter though. It is so small and I take it with me everywhere and sometimes I don't know where I put it. Now it seems to be out of stock everywhere.

- Paired the devices.
- Entered the code given by the audio unit.
- Confirmed that they were connected.
The blackberry asked if I wanted the phone to connect automatically to the unit (So I don't have to go through the process of waiting for, and accepting a connection on the phone. Drove to the garage to get fuel and turned off the engine. Got back in the car started up and drove off. At this point the phone should have connected automatically like my old Nokia. No sign of it doing so. On stopping I looked at the phone and it was asking to accept a connection from Ford Audio. This is not automatic connecting. Automatic connecting is the phone linking up itself as soon as I get in and switch the radio unit on. So why hasn't this worked?
I have a nice audio adapter for my e90 (hs-45/ad-46). I has 3.5mm plug, remote control for music player (play/pause, stop, next, previous), a microphone and answer/hang up button and a 3.5mm socket to plug in your favorite earphones.I tried it on my son's 5230, the music can be heard but the buttons don't work. I would like to use a similar device on the N900 I'll get in few days, but perhaps the remote won't work on it either(?)Is there any wired old-school audio adapter/remote for 5230 or N900? Nokia website lists wh-701 as compatible with 5230 and it even ships with N900, but it has fixed in-ear headphones that don't fit me.If there isn't a compatible audio adapter available at the moment please make one.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have just installed a CK-100 into a vehicle. Connected to an iphone 4 via Bluetooth. Music audio is outputted through the RCA sockets into the AUX in of my stereo. Every 10 minutes or so of playing music there is high pitched noise which comes over the top of the audio. Lasts about 20 seconds and then the audio is OK again. Has anyone had this problem? Both latest firmware's.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy phone will automatically prompt to confirm the request for Bluetooth connection from the CK-7w when I turn the car ignition. When I accept the prompt it would connect. For reasons unknown when I try now it emits two beeps from the car kit and does not connect. No messages etc. I only noticed that when the prompt appears the blue tooth symbol on the phone has two ellipses around it. When I push the phone button to accept the connection a light appears to flash where the confirmation symbol normally appears and then 2 beeps and ellipses disappear from blue tooth symbol on the phone. I updated to the latest firmware on about 6 March 2012 to resolve drop outs etc.

Restarting the car and therefore the carkit makes a new connection which breaks up again after 5 minutes. My other Nokia phone stays connected all the time.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI own a brand new Nokia BH 111 bluetooth headset.I tried to connect it to my windows 7 (ultimate) pc.Its usuall procedure1) insert my bluetooth dongle,2) windows 7 finds the drivers and installs them (for blue tooth dongle only) 3) switch my bh 111 device in pairing mode4) in pc go to control panel--> devices & printers --> add device --> my bh 111 popups up in the list5) when i select it and proceed, win 7 tries to fetch drivers for the device but i cannot find and therefore its not properly installed and i cant use it.I only have trobleshoot enabled in the device which is the same, tryig to download drivers which are unavailable.

But now, I plugged it in the charger and the red light doesn't turn on anymore. I tried a different nokia charger but still, it doesn't work. The chargers that I tried worked on my phone though.Whenever the headset is charged, it's settings on its connectivity resets, so everytime i charge it, i need to reconnect the bluetooth of my phone. The user guide says you have to press the multifunction key for 5 seconds and then again for 2 seconds (when the device is switched off) I have tried that, but every time i press it for 5 seconds it comes on, and thats all that happens.

So once i play some music on my connected device, say a phone it plays onto the music player. So, i bought a 3.5mm jack to 3.5mm jack cable and have connected one end to my BH111 and another end to the music player input.
Everything works on fine till i get a call, when i want to speak to the person in private, because with bluetooth connected, the call is being also sent to music player via bluetooth. So, i turn off the bluetooth on my device, once bluetooth is shut off on my device, the BH111 automatically shuts off to save power(i guess). Is there a way to change this behaviour?
The intended behariour (in my case at least) is that i turn off bluetooth on my device, take a call, then turn it on again, maybe rescan to connect to BH111 via bluetooth once again. So, can the power saver feature of BH111 be turned off?

My N8 connects to my bluetooth headset and functions flawlessly usually. But whenever I connect my N8 via bluetooth to my PC it stops pairing with the headset. The moment it connects with the PC, the headset icon appears in my N8, despite it not having paired the headset.

The only way to stop it is to put something against the button, to obstruct it from moving.Do other users experience the same? and what sould I do, contact nokia? contact the place where I bought it? or does every play 360 have it?
