Nov 10, 2010Nokia C7 has somewhat low volume to listen with headphones.Nokia can make slight increase in the volume range to listen music effectively during crowed areas of people.

Nokia :: 5800 - V5 Music Player - Can't Raise Or Low The Volume From The Volume Keys
Aug 13, 2010I have updared my 5800 from v2.1 to v5.0 now i have a problem with music player that i can't raise or low the volume from the volume keys when i press these keys nothing happen but these keys are working to zoom in and zoom out in camera ! and when i open music player it searches for music and podcasts and this search never end and when i go back to home screen music player still have the old view.

Feb 22, 2012I am using Nokia C5-00 from last 1 year. In Music player, there is option to select the MP3 files by albums, genere, etc but not able to sotr it as saved in different folders. I have nearly 1000 MP3 songs in differetn folders. I want to select perticular folder MP3s to be played at a time. No every MP3 file is updated with album title. If I update Album title in file infor, on refreshing the list album title gets geleted again.

I can't set volume output with music player or in Carmenu. In music player volume slider goes up and down but it is always the same output (overload). Only if it is fully down, then it mutes.

Jan 4, 2011Is there any option so that we can sort the songs by Albums. I know we have got a option " Artists and albums". If we use this it will sort with Artists first and below it will show the Album name. I live in India, and here we generally listen to songs by movie/album wise not by artist.... I having nightmare in searching the albums as they are sorted by artists first..... I also use Nokia 5800 XM in that we got seperate option "sort by Album" but it is combined with artists in Nokia Symbian^3 phones.....I love the new music player the way it shows the album arts but the only thing is it removed the sort by Album option..

May 18, 2012HeMy Lumia 800 currently suffers from bugs in Nokia Music: you listen to some music and often after 20/25min the volume goes off (sets it to 0) and you can't recover it. If you don't try to restart the phone and leaves the volume at 0, the sounds may occasionally recover at 30 before disappearing again after a couple of secs. I could not find any fix in this forum, is there any?

Nokia: 5800 Xpress Music V50.0005 Upgrade Killed The Music Player
May 4, 2010I have upgraded the firmware from v31.0.101 to v50.0.005 and I had the unpleasent surprise to find that the music player is no longer working. It plays only the files stored in the phone memory and is unable to update the library. It shows music files on the memory card that were deleted longtime ago and refresh library does not change anything: always shows refresh complete 0 files added. When I connect the phone to the PC, the Ovi Player doesn't see the phone and even the device manager shows that there is a problem with the portable device (conneced in PC Suite or Media Transfer modes). Done even a hard reset but nothing has changed except that it has lost the applications it had in the phone memory.
