My BB phone doesn't have a dial pad. Is this true for all other BB phones? Whenever I typed numbers on the standby screen and instead of calling that set of numbers, I ended up searching that number on my phone. I mean, is there any way to access dial pad for easy calling? It is really contrasting to all other phone makes.

When i'm on a phone call it automatically brings up the dial pad instead of going to the standard options like speaker phone and mute and all that. i often switch to speaker phone when on a phone call and i have to click twice when i could just click speaker phone.its just annoying i was wondering if there is a way to switch it to default to the speaker phone screen?

View 7 Replies View RelatedI "upgraded" to OS 6.0. Now my BB will not allow me to click on a phone number that I see on the internet and dial it. I have to read the number, memorize it, close the browser, and push in the numbers manually. T-Mobile keeps telling me that it is the webpage that I am on, but it clearly not that. OS 6.0 is quite the downgrade. Can anybody hear any of the lousy notifers that they call ringtones? The helpdesk directs you to buy ringtones from appworld.

View 2 Replies View RelatedHaving a problem with my phone it is a 8350i i was messing around with the settings iam honestley i am not to familiar with the phone and now i can not hear a dial tone,the speaker phone works fine i thought it was the speaker i changed it with a new one today so that was not the problem the contacts are clean and not bent in the chassis mid plate. when i make a call no one can hear me except for when i activate the speaker.

You cant keep your headset on or earpiece in without hurting or even damaging your ears. It is extremely annoying to have to take out your earpiece every time you dial someone. Setting the profile to vibrate or silent is no option of course because then you don't hear the phone ring.How do I set the dial tone to silent or much lower volume without reducing the phone ring volume on a BB Bold 9900?

When in the phone dialing screen, if I press and hold a number key with an associated speed dial number, the phone would dial another number elsewhere on the speed dial list (e.g. press and hold "3" made the phone speed dial the phone number assigned to "5"). After removing and replacing the battery and rebooting, the trouble didn't clear.In fact, things got stranger. The phone would not dial voicemail when the "1" key was held down (even though the speed dial list still listed the correct number, etc.) When I cleared and tried to refill my speed dial list, no number keys on the keypad would make the speed dial spring into action. But, pressing and holding the "3" key did make the phone ask if I wished to assign a speed dial to the number "5" as though that were the key I'd been pressing.Suggestions?
View 6 Replies View RelatedMy former Android phone had an app that was able to speed dial one of 8 people even when the phone was locked. It appeared on the lock screen and was able to dial one of 8 numbers with a single press and swipe. It dialed based on the direction of the swipe.
Is there something similar for Windows 10 Phone? I'd rather not need to unlock the phone in order to dial one of my most called contacts.
It doesn't have to be an app that behaves exactly like this. Just curious how others have efficiently handled speed-dial.

I would change my sound profile to 'Normal' and it wouldn't play the sound whenever I got a message. I went into Edit Profiles > Normal > Messages > SMS > and I would go all the way to the bottom and press Try It, but the sound wouldn't play.

I can log in using my laptop and the ID and password are fine, but if I try to download anything via App World on the phone, it tells me that the password is invalid.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI was still on kitkat on my xperia z2. One day, when trying to make a call, I just couln't anymore. Basically, I can bring up my contact list, recent calls etc. But when I go to press a contact, which would usually start ringing them, it does nothing. If I manually enter a number with the keypad and press the dial button - the keypad disappears and it isn't dialing.
I tried restarting my phone, which will then allow me to make calls as usual, but as soon as I close the "phone" app and open it back up again, same problem - pressing contacts/ dial buttons etc will just do nothing. Every time I restart my phone I can pretty much call someone once and that's it.
I went in to my apps list and founf something very strange - two standard "Phone" apps. Why there are two now, they are also different sizes (one is 1.11mb and the other is 2.0mb). I obviously cannot disable or uninstall either of them. I don't know if this is the problem.
I have updated to lollipop, thinking maybe that may work, but everything's exactly the same.
It's not more than 3 months and I'm facing a big issue in My Experia Z3 phone. While I receive or dial any call, it's hang for some time and then restarting automatically.

If i connect the headphones it only rings when the music player is on. If i stop the player is not ringing again, only vibrates. I know the menu very well and is all set to the right parameters. I've bought a new housing complete and i'm waiting to have it delivered next week because 99% i think is the speaker.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently purchased the (2014) Moto X for one of my fellow employees. He is an apple fan boy, so when it was his time for an upgrade of course I got him an Android device (with the notion I had 30 days to return if necessary)
He loves the device, his only gripe has been that he cannot click on phone numbers to dial out directly from the email app or the outlook app. He can however click on phone numbers through his Gmail app and it go straight to the dialer.
