Lumia Icon :: How To Add Favorite Phone Numbers
May 8, 2014Received my Icon today coming from an iPhone 5S. Still getting used to everything but I have not been able to find a way to add a "favorites" list of frequently called numbers. Am I missing something or is that not an option on the Icon?

May 30, 2010So i've had my blackberry 8900 for a year now & it's very convenient for me to just press the clicking letters of a contact name and have it narrow down my contacts to the person i want. That way, i don't have to click on the contacts icon and start finding a name.I just took out the battery of my phone & put it in a couple minutes later because of some other issues, & now i can no longer do that anymore! I press buttons when i'm on the home screen and nothing happens; there isn't the convenient shortcut to finding/narrowing down a contact anymore.

Mar 4, 2015I recently purchased the (2014) Moto X for one of my fellow employees. He is an apple fan boy, so when it was his time for an upgrade of course I got him an Android device (with the notion I had 30 days to return if necessary)
He loves the device, his only gripe has been that he cannot click on phone numbers to dial out directly from the email app or the outlook app. He can however click on phone numbers through his Gmail app and it go straight to the dialer.

Jul 22, 2010In some countries, phone numbers are listed as 1800-pizza deliver or just 93-postoffice or something like that. Using number pads with letters, this is no problem but the default N97 mini dialer has only numbers and no letters. I have searched the web for third party dialers but no luck, Can someone please advise?
I used to own a E63. Same problem with keypad but there was a work-round. I used this work round using the N97 mini physical keypad but no dice.

Dec 4, 2015My former Android phone had an app that was able to speed dial one of 8 people even when the phone was locked. It appeared on the lock screen and was able to dial one of 8 numbers with a single press and swipe. It dialed based on the direction of the swipe.
Is there something similar for Windows 10 Phone? I'd rather not need to unlock the phone in order to dial one of my most called contacts.
It doesn't have to be an app that behaves exactly like this. Just curious how others have efficiently handled speed-dial.

Dec 21, 2015Weird issue here. Did my 2nd hard reset yesterday so I could receive the latest firmware updates and now I have no option to set any pictures as favorites. Very strange. Makes no difference if photos are saved to internal or SD card.

Nov 9, 2012I have a Nokia Lumia 610 and for some odd reason last two weeks it randomly dials numbers either mobile or landline. When its sat on the kitchen table, it just dials it, more oddly it switches to loud speaker and it does it about 10-15 times same number one after anotheritched it off and back on and for a few days its ok and then it does it again. 1. Some times it says Call route Not found and it gets disconnected...
2. Sometimes it says the TollFreeNumber you are dialing might not be a Tollfreenumber and I get get charged as ISDN call even for TOLLFREE numbers....I checked using my sim in other phones and it worked perfectly fine....

Aug 13, 2015Ever since the latest update from tmobile my favorite contacts are not appearing on my edge, the tab is only there sometimes. My settings is all correct and the only way that tab will appear is if I restart my phone and or go into my settings, turn off people edge and back on then it appears again, but only for a little while. Then disappears again, same with restarting my phone. This one of the main reasons I bought this phone.

Mar 22, 2010I was got my Nokia 97 today and I've noticed that when receiving calls, even from numbers I know are not private or blocked, the phone number doesn't appear on the screen or in the call log. I have tried going through all the settings and everything I could think of to try and fix th problem but nothing would help. This is frustrating as when I recieve a call I have no idea who it is from, or who to call back!
