I have accidentally synced all my contacts to an email address that is temporary.how would i change this? i scroll throught my contact list and 90% of them are synced to this 1 email address,
View 9 Repliesok so i just got a nokia lumia 610, but everytime i try to add a new contact, i add a name and a phone number and as soon as i try to save it, it pairs it up with either facebook or hotmail (by itself), and then it says i cant it as i have choosen not to see contacts from facebook/hotmail, i would happily have my facebook contacts showing but the last thing i want is 300+ people on my phones contacts that i will never phone, or text, also if i try to show contacts from facebook, and then delete the 1's i don't want to see, it doesnt let me press delete so is there a way to connect only some contacts to facebook, so you only see the 1's your going to use and have the number of, or is there a way to delete the contacts you dont want to see from the peoples/contacts? if i cant sort this out i wont be able to use this phone,

I have made a similar post before but got no answer that worked, come on guys please tel;l me how to get my Outlook (2010) contacta copied to my Playbook. Thjis problem is so frustrating . When I purchase the curve you were sble to swiftlt solve the problem telling me to use Synchamatic software but they have not got a similar solution for the Playbook, I have over 400 contacts please assist, I've waited over 6 months for a working solution.

I DO NOT WANT to use Google Photos Auto Back up, or on a couple of my email addresses Google Plus, OR Google Photos yet from time to time they seem to automatically enable them selves.
My guess is this happens after app updates but if i have disabled syncing in the first place for these apps why do they keep re-enabling them selves? I do not like it.
For those of you who have disabled syncing of a particular app can you check yours and see if they have been re-enabled? Im curious to see if its my device or a wide spread issue.

Just upgraded to the 4S. I set it up by "restoring" to the last backup on the Cloud, but for some reason, in the "Settings" panel, the iCloud option is grayed out. This is also the case for all of my individual email addresses under "Mail, Contacts,..." I called support and they just made me reset my password - twice - which hasn't done anything but annoy me.

Just one person in my contacts list...when they were texting me the alert sound is different than the one I have set for my phone but I never went into that contact and changed it so I don't even know how that happened and I don't know how to change it to just match my standard SMS sound. The incoming text appears in the notification field at the top of the home screen from the correct sender, but when we open the text, the sender contact has been randomly switched to another person in our contact list.
