Has any body had their standard sudoku3 & klondike just disappear after upgrading their bb device software to the latest ver5? How do I get it back without having to download different versions on bb apps world?
View 1 RepliesMy Facebook icon has disappeared after doing the latest app world upgrade. App world says its installed but I can't find it. Checked the hidden icons and its not there either. In Options, App Management it says its 'Not Running'. How do I get it back??
View 9 Replies View RelatedI installed the upgrade to app world and it disappeared. I rebooted. I re-registered. I uninstalled app world (it shows up I under the applications manager but the icon does not show up as a icon on my blackbery). I eve uninstalled it using the desktop software and re-installed it to no avail.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a (relatively) new BB Bold 9790. I connected today via the Desktop manager and it asked me if I wanted to upgrade my software bundle (I am on OS 7). I clicked on "yes" and it went off and did the deed. I have to confess I did not do a manual backup as my previous experience has been that the DM does the backup for you and it's worked well.
So after the upgrade everything was back as it was (my icons in the same place, emails, pics etc) apart from all my SMS! They have all disappeared. I am receiving new ones fine but the old ones have all gone. I had quite a lot of useful information in the old SMS (yes I know I should have backed these up) ... is there any way these can be recovered? I cannot belive the DM did not back these up and restore them but if I go ito the DM and look for a backup there is no recent back ups so I can't find anything to restore from.
I recently made a bunch of different upgrades through Cydia since last night and this morning. Just now, I noticed that my Categories icon has disappeared.

View 2 Replies View RelatedOk so earlier today I updated my phone to v5.0.0.341.The upgrade went ok, but afterwards it seemed all my apps have disapeared, and the default skin reinstated. After checking around the phone i couldn't find any of them.I figured I'd reinstall the skin I had been using (Blackberry Pro v4). After installing it, my menu was really screwed up. All the folders had disappeared and everything that was normally in folders was on the home menu. I managed to fix that by pressing menu > options > reset icon arrangement.
However, I still have the problem of all my apps missing. I was wondering if anyone could shed any light on this for me, and any possible easy way of getting them back. I've downloaded and reinstalled a few, but I did have quite a few installed. Also, does anyone know how I can get back apps that I have already paid for in App World? I'm guessing emailing support is the best way to go?
I upgraded my whatsapp messenger and then my apps world and since the the icons of both have vanished from my blackberry torch screen. All attempts of retrieving the same have failed. I even reinstalled the apps world and whatsapp messenger but the same result. Have done hard reboot also.

My current situation:
I am on a family plan with a total of two lines. My line is not eligible until 7/23, so all I can get is "early upgrade pricing". My mom's line is currently eligible for "full upgrade pricing". I am planning on using my mom's upgrade to get an iPhone 4. I want to preorder the phone from Apple.com on the 15th, and hopefully receive it the afternoon of the 24th. From my understanding, the microSIM that ships with the phone will be programmed for the line whose upgrade was used. However, the iPhone Upgrade Guide makes it sound like I can call AT&T once I receive the phone (and before I activate it), and have AT&T switch the microSIM from my mom's line to mine. Is this possible?
I have a message in my settings telling me that i can upgrade my IOS, but i don't want to upgrade at this time. How can i get rid of the red message mark?

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy GPS worked perfectly until today.I have checked in the 'Loction Settings' under 'Advanced Options' and my 'Latitude', 'Longitude' etc are all set to '0'
Location Services is set to 'Location On'
Location Data is set to 'Enabled'
When i chose Refresh GPS from the Menu it says 'GPS Location Update failed'
I have tried pulling out the battery for a few minutes whilst the phone is on and whilst the phone is off.I have changed the Location Services to: Location Off and Location Data to: Disabled. Then saved and then pulled the battery. But nothing changed.
I have nokia E71 and all of a sudden the contacts button stopes working and doesn't bring up anything.Tried to get into contacts via menu but again , nothing.The contacts are in the phone because when someone calls me it does bring up the name.But when I try to open contacts to dial nothing opens.Tried factory defaults but no success and I'm still facing the issue.Tried to restart the phone a few times but no success.

I was just trying to open the words with friends game. I looked over at my laptop then back over to my phone. The screen flashed black then when it came back almost all my apps were gone. Stock apps, bitesms, mywi and a couple of others were still there but 90% of my apps were gone. I plugged it into itunes and my the storage bar showed "other" at 4.75 gigs!!! I'm syncing right now thinking maybe that will work or it will just sort itself out but I only have half a gig left so it's going to run out. Anyone know how to fix this? I really don't want to restore.

I noticed a short while later that after updating, the app store has disappeared so I have no way of purchasing anything on my Blackberry.
