BB Tour :: Is There Anyway To Transfer Or Retrieve Contacts From Phone
Jul 11, 2011
My Tour was damaged by water, and now has no visible screen. I can occasionally get a small red signal on it. Is there anyway to transfer or retrieve my contacts from the phone, or from blackberry. I did not have them properly downloaded on the backup assistant. Can i just activate another blackberry and retrieve them from that, or are they lost forever?
A co-worker of mine recently had his blackberry tour replaced through verizon. He didn't have his phone backed up on his computer.........so they are gone. However...he does have his contacts in his navigation/bluetooth of his car. Does anyone have any idea on how to get the info from the car back his blackberry?
Hopefully you crackberry addicts can help me out! I go to look at a text message and it no longer says from a contact, instead, a phone number. I look at my contacts and they're all gone. No updates were going on, nothing. I'm running os 5.0.0.419. I tried a battery pull and it did nothing.
I just received my replacement Tour (trackball issues) and would like to know the best way to transfer my contacts to my new phone. I do have several and not sure if I can use the BDM to do this or not, or if there is another way to accomplish this.
Got new tour that was previously my step-mom's. I have restored phone factory settings and am trying to transfer my contacts that I have stored on Verizon.com backup assistant. The backup assistant does not seem to be transferring the contacts. What is the easiest/best way to transfer my contacts to my new phone?
I've entered a pre-paid SIM card and can't read the phone book on my TOUR, i dont even have the option to retract them from the card to the phone when i go to the menu. Although I can make and receive calls with no problem.Did u guys have to do something special prior to entering the card?
My IPhone will not charge at all anymore, power is all gone. I cannot retrieve anything, and did not back up at all. I bought May 2011. Apple store says battery charger is corroded. How to get any power so I can transfer all my contacts , etc to new phone. Will not charge at all.
My friend lost his blackberry 8900. He canceled his contract with TMobile so the phone was SOS. The phone was insured but since the contract was canceled they won't honor it. Is there anyway he can retrieve his contacts in the Desktop Manager? He backed it up all of the time Is the contacts in a file on the computer that he can read? thanks in advance. I looked in the loader back up IPD files and all I see is a lot of jibberish. But no contacts.
My partner and I want to upgrade our phones to a new PDA. I have the Tour and I love it. His only concern is that, in our business we will need to use Handheld Contact to integrate with a program called ACT! and we are not sure that the tour will hold all of our contacts? How many contacts will the tour hold including email addresses any everything? We have over 3000 contacts in our ACT! database.
Is there a way to have my tour save my contacts with a third party app ? What i mean is most all of the sprint phones if you are out of town and you lose your phone and you go to a store and get a new phone as soon as they activate the new phone through the back up contacts on there sprints website it will automactly put your contacts in your new phone.I know you can save them on your pc but if i dont have my lap top with me how can i get the contacts and numbers into my new phone that i get when iam out of town.I was told there was a third party app to down load that will transfer them. so if you are out of town and lose your blackberry how do you get your contacts in the new blackberry if you dont have your pc with you ?
My tour likes to just stop working every once in a while. Case in point: on long drives through the country, i'll be listening to pandora for 4 hours straight then all of a sudden it will stop loading. then i'll notice that teh web browser wont load websites, ubertwitter wont load, facebook wont load, etc etc. The only thing that makes everything work again is to do a battery pull but of course this gets old.Anyone know what the problem is here or anything? I feel like maybe i'm using "too much data at one time" but in all honestly I dont think that's right.
I would like to transfer my Contacts from my X8 to a PC and a Nokia phone. When I export my contacts list, it creates a VCF file containing (supposed to be) all my contacts but it only has 1 contact (the first in the list). I tried viewing this file using PC Companion and it was confirmed that it only contains 1 contact. I tried transfering (Copy/Paste) this to my PC and opened this in MS Outlook, only 1 contact was opened. I tried the 'Send All Contacts' via bluetooth and it also transfered 1 contact.
How to put my contacts from my Contacts book on Mac into the Htc One? I dont really need to sync anything because i rather drag an drop like i do with photos etc using AFT. Is there a way to do the same but with the vcards?
I am a long time iPhone user and switched to Xperia Z2 recently. As the my old iPhone is pretty much old and I want to use Z2 as my working phone. One of the questions I came across is how to copy all of my contacts(200+) from iPhone to Z2? As they are totally different plaftforms and can't think up a way to get it done.
I'm a bit stumped. I have my Icon synced with my Mercedes C300 via Bluetooth. Everything works fine..receiving and making calls. Responding to texts with Cortana. However, I want to add a new contact to the cars phone book. I go to the contact on the Icon...select share the contact...choose via Bluetooth....but the Bluetooth connection for the car does not show up to select. This is very strange since the phone and the car are already connected via Bluetooth.
Does anybody know how to transfer contacts from the phone itself to the SIM card? All my contacts are on the phone & I need them on the SIM to use the SIM in another phone.....cannot use this Lumia anymore...not user-friendly!!
I am using a P990i from a long time and have recently bought Aspen. Since both run on different software, I am not able to understand how to transfer all contacts from P990i to Aspen. It's extremely critical not to miss any contact.
I recently got an LG V10 (I know, I know, I hated giving up Windows Phone but I had to), and the ATT store was unable to transfer my SIM contacts to my new phone. The SIM from my 1020 was larger than the SIM for the V10, and apparently it's not possible for them to use their software to transfer SIM contacts off of Windows phone because of software restrictions.
I'd really like to get my contacts from my old SIM card transferred to my new phone but I can't figure out how to do it. I connected my 1020 to my computer but I can't find the SIM contacts anywhere in the file directory.
