BB Torch :: Sync To Restore Contacts?

recently left my company and now don't have exchange server anymore. Synced up Torch, successfully then removed Exchange Mail Account. Now contacts/calendar/mail etc is not in Outlook 2010. I know it's there, but haven't been able to successfully open a .pst file with that data. Now when I try to sync from Torch to Outlook, it tells me one or more configured folders is not available. Update folder mapping and try again. I can't seem to locate the folder mapping option within the Desctop Manager.

recently after maintenence of my E6 from nokia care I lost all contacts. however i kept the backup in OVI Sync but instead of Restore i Synced again and now i m tring to recover/restore the all my Contacts from OVI sync but not succeding. way how can i restore my contacts ?

My original torch 9800 was stolen, I just received my replacement torch 9800 and I went to restore my phone from my last backup but my contacts did not restore. Is there a reason for this? Is there a way to get them back?

After a back up I tried to recover my contact but only a get some of them, no total list.I can see that I have backed up in the device manager about 200 contact but only can restore 114. I tried many times, also with another backups made before.I did another back up, but still restore 114 contacts after I add some more.

I made a backup yesterday from BBM Contacts in my email and today i format my bb. I lost all in the phone, but only the important thing is the BBM contacts.
I recive the mail from Blackberry saying: "hello the recovery is in progress" or something like this, but in my bbm theres no contacts..

I am switching from an old Blackberry Torch to a new Blackberry Torch, (same model), I backed up the old phone and I tried restoring the contacts onto the new phone but everything else like old texts, emails, etc are being restored EXCEPT the contacts;

Try again later.'I've reed in this forum that the exact problem was in August-September 2011, which was solved only in early November by manipulating on Ovi Servers.How can I restore my contacts now? I lost my bb 9800, i think i have data somewhere on bb server because when i login on BB protect website i can see that in archived back up details but i'm unable to restore it. And when i try to restore on my new 9810 it says "This data is already wirelessely synchronized with a remote service and cannot be restored by blackberry protect" only for contacts. And i've archived the device by mistake n now it shows "Remote admin commands are not available on archived devices".

I have a torch 9800 and I have 840 contacts in my address book, whenever I try to sync them, only 113 can be synced.I downloaded the new desktop manager, I made a backup and did a security wipe even but nothing can be done. I need help ASAP as I need to sync the contacts and manage them on outlook.

I used to be able to sync all my contacts with my 9700 bold, but now since I received the torch, it is giving me an error saying I should look at the desktop manager information. with a # that says KB14545 error or whatever.What should I do to sync my contacts. p.s. Google sync sucks, it re-duplicated my contacts making me have 1400 contacts when I only have 170.

My Boss has 2 Blackberry phones , one is Blackberry torchand another one is Blackberry Bold 9000.Blackberry Torch is synced to company Blackberry server. The Blackberry Bold is not synced with the Blackberry server but has about 1000 contacts (200 in 1st contact folder and 800 and in the 2nd).when I check the contacts options I see 2 contact folders both named "Desktop". My Boss wants me to merge all these 1000 contacts with the contacts on his Blackberry Torch. When I back up the contacts from Bold to outlook only 200 contacts gets restored and the remaining 800 dont.
I am using following method to merge I intend to use following steps to merge the contacts from 2 phones
I backed up both the devicesI exported all the contacts from outlook to csv fileDeleted all the contacts from outlookSynced the contacts from Blackberry Bold to outlook but in this case only 200 contacts get synced and not the remaining 800.Export the outlook to csv againMerge the 2 csvs and import to outlook

I'm on BDS and need to sync my contacts with outlook. I know that I need to disable 'wireless synchronization'. look at the option under either - calendar, task or memo. Strangely I can't find it in any of those.

I want to push my outlook 2010 contacts to my BES enabled Torch 9810 on AT&T running 7.0 Bundle 1355(v7.0.0.261 Platform 5.0.0.469).When I go into Desktop Manager 6.1.0.35 it says my calendar and Address book are syncing wirelessly. Nothing I've tried gets Desktop Manager to recognize that I've turned off wireless synchronization.
I've tried going to Messages->Menu->Options->Email Reconciliation and clearing the Wireless Reconcile checkbox. I do the same thing in Desktop->Menu->Options->Email Reconciliation and clearing the Wireless Reconcile checkbox.Other posts on the internet talk about going into the contacts application, going to options and shutting off wireless synchronization, however I think this is for other devices. There is nothing in there about wireless synchronization.

I cannot sync calender or contacts with my desktop software as it is wirelessly syncing. Blackberry tells me a have to disable it, and hives me the instructions to do so - calender-menu-options-turn off wireless sync. But I do not see this under Options. where can I find it? How do i turn it off so i can sync my phone?

I have 4 different email accounts, 2 of them are gmail and yahoo. The unpleasant thing that happen is that after setting up these accounts. Contacts are auto-sync and now I have the same contact twice although in the "setting" "setup" I have untick the sync contact box I just do not understand why does that happen. I have use blackberry before but none of these happen this is so un-cool!

I was able to Sync my contacts on my new Torch 9800 from MS Outlook but then experienced several "pocket calls" even with the Phone Lock feature ON. So I activated the 4 digit security code feature that requires entry before making any outgoing calls to resolve the "pocket call" issue, but now when I try to synch my contacts it asks for my 4 digit security code. I have 10 attempts to get it right but it doesn't recognize the security code on my PC. I am linking via the USB cable directly to my phone. Anyone know how to resolve this?

When i sync my contacts from DM with outlook on my torch i keep getting this error message - error 0x80040fb3
I have removed all of the pictures from the contacts on outlook but the error message still appears.
I have uncheck the picture and attachment fields in the DM but the error message still appears.

I had faced this issue when i last updated my phone when the 2.1 had come out.. I installed the latest Backup and Restore application as recomended by the SE update site.. Then backed up my files onto an already existing backup (which i think has corrupted the backup), hence overwriting the file.. After that i upgraded to 2.1 and restored my files, which failed because the contacts were not successfully imported (even though the Backup and Restore app said that the import was succesful.)
i was asked to repair the firmware using PC companion and hence want to backup succesfully without any problems. I cant risk loosing my contacts again. And i want to know from others in this forum if they have faced this issue on normal backup (not overwritten on an existing backup). [URL]

I wanted to update my software to the latest version so before i did that i made sure i synced/backed up my phone. Then i restored my phone from back up only to find that my contacts have all dissapeared. Why?
All my apps, calender, notes, photos etc have appeared except for my contacts.

I've just upgraded to the Z5. My own number on my contacts list is set at 00 0000000000 and it won't let me edit it to change it! I've worked out how to manually sync contacts profile pics from FB onto my contacts list, but it won't let me do it on my own contact details. (Basically, in text messaging, pics of my contacts are there, but I can't link mine to do the same).

I have an IPhone that syncs to my Outlook 2010 via Exchange. The email and calendar syncs automatically. I would like to sync my contacts but currently have that setting turned to "off" because I want to add my Outlook contacts but not lose my contacts on my phone. If I sync the contacts will it just add the new ones and not overwrite the existing contacts on my phone?

I'm wondering if there is an app that let's me sync my Facebook contacts with the contacts on my phone, I've got an iPod Touch and on that I use MyPhone+ and I sync that to Windows contacts and my phone to Windows contacts but no pics get copied. is there an app there does that?
