BB Torch :: Overall Backup Progress" For An Hour And A Half?
Oct 23, 2012I downloaded the update and clicked install now. My phone has been frozen at 2% of "overall backup progress" for an hour and a half. What can i do to fix?

I have uninstalled all recent apps downloaded, cleared more memory space, ran anti virus and anti malware to no avail.
I was prepared to do a backup and then factory reset and have found that my HTC One is in a constant state up "backup in progress and options to change backup account and reset phone are greyed out.

Jan 16, 2012So, I went to check if there was a new OS update. There was, so I downloaded and am currently installing it. However, it's been "installing" for 8 hours now, and it's stuck on 14% Overall backup progress. And 0% Social Feeds.Also, not sure if it's related. (probably is) but my Signal is off and i have no network connection. And I've got good coverage usually at home. I realised the problem about 7 hours in, after it said it would only be 2. So I battery pulled it, and it didn't work, then I tried battery and sim pulling, that didn't work. I've tried hooking it up to my blackberry desktop. It can't pick the device up because of it.

Aug 21, 2014I'm having issues with the brightness of the screen of my iphone 5.
The bottom half of the display is less bright than the upper half.
It came into contact with water but not in a high amount, about five drops hit the iphone and I dried them imminently away.
I still got the protection plan active, but it would be better if I could fix it right away. Â Â

Feb 13, 2012How long is the battery expected to survive for 9860s? I bought this 9860 on Feb 11. Before using charged the phone completely by 11pm - The battery almost drained completely (red) by 8PM on Feb 12. This morning 13th Feb - I completely charged the phone - and 80% has already drained out by 3:15 pm - From the last full charge I have had phone calls totally lasting less than 20 minutes, WIFI is off, notifiers are off except email, and 5 small emails

I got the error 606 java error and with much head scratching I finally got the phone to plug into my computer to perform an update. When prompted to do the update I checked the box backup and update. The backup completed and went straight into the update. Once the update was complete the restore process began and that's when it all went south. The restore failed in the middle with and error, IM sorry no screen shot, but stated restore failed temporary backup will be stored in.... I was so frustrated I closed the box and couldn't find the folder. I was wondering if there's a place that I haven't looked that it would be accessible. I checked in the backup folder and searched for .ipd folders and nothing. the odd thing is the restore managed to restore my pictures ring tones apps but not contacts or saved messages.

Two emails from same sender - sometimes only one will be on BB inbox. There are not any filters set up on the BB.I have tried resetting to factory default and restoring to a backup from BB Desktop. I can send emails fine from the BB - sometimes the auto BCC works sometimes not. The Torch is about 11 months old and worked perfectly prior to this.

BB Curve :: Transferring Backup From It To New Torch?
Mar 11, 2011My USB connector from my Curve has been working intermittently since a couple of days and before running into more problems, I bought a Torch. I realize now that the USB connector from old Curve doesn't allow me to transfer data to my Desktop Manager. I'm looking for a way to transfer the most I have in my curve (address book, emails, notes, passwords, etc..) without my USB cable. I've been trying to hook up the 2 phones with bluethoot, but it asks me some kind of access key number of the new Torch (which I completely ignore). But even if I would have that access key, would this work?I may get a Bluetooth adaptor for my PC, as I have read that we can transfer data to Desktop Manager that way, but would have to buy such adaptor - not expensive, but if I could do it directly from 2 phones?

May 23, 2012Latest desktop software.Stops at about 98%, while "Backing up Smart Card Options 1 of 1 Record". Never finishes, cancel doesn't work. Have to pull the USB cable to stop process, no file is placed in the backup folder. IT USED TO WORK.
