I have no idea how but my message folders (email, SMS) have been split in half. So, rather than a full page of messages, it only uses half the page to show messages and the rest of the page (on the bottom) is just blank.
View 2 RepliesI have an X10 that I've had for over a year. I recently updated it and since then the screen has split in half and only blinks on and off on the bottom part of it. I can re-install the software and sometimes it helps, but I'm not too sure what else to do.And since the update I've been having problems with Mediascape, it comes on by itself and plays music. I stop it, shut it off and it opens again and plays music. I was wondering if there is something wrong with the Mediascape on these phones. Could it be buggering up the phone?
View 6 Replies View RelatedEvery time I rotate the screen sideways, the keyboard is split in half by a big empty gray space in the middle, and now I have two space bars and the rest of the keys are either on the left or the right side of the screen. I have had this phone since like the first week after its release, and the problem only started a little over a month ago. No matter what I do, nothing has gotten rid of it. Is it a hardware problem or something? If this issue is solely because of the phone and has nothing to do with me, does this thing have a factory warranty I can use to get a free replacement? Would AT&T replace it even without insurance on it?

I got the error 606 java error and with much head scratching I finally got the phone to plug into my computer to perform an update. When prompted to do the update I checked the box backup and update. The backup completed and went straight into the update. Once the update was complete the restore process began and that's when it all went south. The restore failed in the middle with and error, IM sorry no screen shot, but stated restore failed temporary backup will be stored in.... I was so frustrated I closed the box and couldn't find the folder. I was wondering if there's a place that I haven't looked that it would be accessible. I checked in the backup folder and searched for .ipd folders and nothing. the odd thing is the restore managed to restore my pictures ring tones apps but not contacts or saved messages.
His text message gets interrupted halfway through by an old message he sent before (be it a previous message from a few minutes ago or from weeks ago!) It only happens with texts from him, no-one else. I've tried deleting our conversation but it makes no difference. It's getting so frustrating cos I have to keep asking him to text me again and a lot of the time I just get another 'cracked' text!

Call the carrier support center but they said that one of my mailbox was hit by virus which is very unlikely since it only happen after i switch from 9780 to 9860. If it was from one of the mailbox, it should appear in the respective mailbox than in general message folder. Since talking with the support center is a waste of time, I just accepted their explanation and live with the problem. Now, I have to delete minimum 100 emails per day.I just want to shut it off. I can even read their business email. Attached are pictures for better understanding of my problem.
I had my BB Torch 9800 for few month. Previously used to work fine, all my emails used to show up in message folder. But these days when I receive emails my bb flashes red and it shows on top of the screen emails icon. But when I open my messages folder it shows empty folder without any emails, even though I can see the email icon showing there is emails awaiting. I do aware of this option that, if I press bb menu and then press show all, my email address with my name will show up. With this way I can view received emails. But I don't want to use this option, as I prefer all my emails goes to message folder, that way I can have more space to download other apps.
Note: if i reboot my device all emails shows up in message folder! I don't want to reboot my device everytime I face this problem.
I updated my c7 to ANNA, and its perfectly working after following troubleshooting issues.But split screen is not showing up in contacts/phonebook search. Same old block letter are showing up.(uninstalled those conversation and server). Still I get conversation feature not supported also Kinetic scrolling has become slow which is very annoying. It was perfect in previous PR.How can I free my Internal memory. any way to Delete unwanted files and downloads.

And yes after the initial install I installed the 4 other packages (Nokia Anna 1/2, 2/2, Ovi Store & Social). found that I didnt get a split screen anywhere. On Googling I found that split screen only works with Swype disabled. So I uninstalled SwypeNow I'm getting split screen in the search widget, browser, phonebook etc... but not in CONVERSATIONS (messaging app)
View 19 Replies View RelatedSo my co-worker has a Galaxy S5. When he goes to play a video from the stock gallery app the actual video plays in a split window and the other half is just the gallery. There is a white dot in the middle but when I press it there is no Maximize icon like on my Note 4. There are three icons and one of them puts the video into a smaller floating window. No matter what we have tried he cannot play the video full screen. I tried to replicate this on my Note 4 using the stock gallery app and the stock video player. I can't get it to do the same thing or how to fix his S5 so he can view videos using the full display. It appears that one side is the video selector and the other side actually plays the video. I had him download MX Player and when he goes to the gallery, selects a video, then chooses MX as the player, the video still plays in a separate window.

But abruptly the cursor disappears and when I continue writing the text, it just does not appear on the screen. The bottom half of the display is less bright than the upper half.
It came into contact with water but not in a high amount, about five drops hit the iphone and I dried them imminently away.

View 1 Replies View RelatedFor the past 4-5 days I have only been receiving some of the emails that are on Yahoo Mail when checked online. There doesn't seem to be a pattern. Two emails from same sender - sometimes only one will be on BB inbox. There are not any filters set up on the BB.I have tried resetting to factory default and restoring to a backup from BB Desktop. I can send emails fine from the BB - sometimes the auto BCC works sometimes not. The Torch is about 11 months old and worked perfectly prior to this.
