Jun 3, 2015On my old Galaxy S3 you could send a call straight to voice mail by pressing the down volume button. Does the G3 have a similar feature? I get 3 or 4 calls a day that I don't recognize and instead of just ignoring them, if I could send them to voice mail to see if they are legit enough to leave a message. I have Mr. Number because I do get other spam calls and I also get those unblockable numbers like 0000000 or 43 or something like that.

Feb 10, 2010My n97 was working perfect til i installed the latest updates, since then all i get when i try to make a call is "connection error" and a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark in it, I cant receive phone calls either it goes straight to voice mail...The phone was sent to a repair center where they fixed my charging problems, replaced the camera lens and never bothered with the "connection error". If you are in the middle of sending a text message and using the voice input and talking to the voice input when a call comes in, the voice input is abandoned, the "answer/ignore" screen shows for a second. But before you can answer, the keyboard comes back up and covers it up, so you can't answer the call. And then the keyboard is stuck on the screen. "back" doesn't make it go away (so you still can't answer the call). Even if you go to the home screen, the keyboard is still on the screen. Stock phone, not rooted, all updates applied, etc.

May 28, 2011I couple of days ago it shut itself off again. I took out the battery to reset it, but when it came back on the home button quit working, on both the front screen and the keyboard. Also, all of my calls are going straight to voicemail and the Happenings widget isn't working right. When there are no current happenings it says "keep up to date with friends in social networks". If you touch it, it says to setup a Motoblur account to use this service, but I already have one. I've tried just resetting the password on there, but that did nothing. And if I try to set it up, it comes up with a force close screen.

The problem is when ever i make a call or recieve a call the battery goes down to single point n the mobile shows the battery low msg n shuts off. Its real pain in **bleep**. It works fine when not making or recieving calls. To my surprise i have observed tht the battery runs out immediately when using idea sim, drains lil slow with airtel, vodafone and satys for 24 hrs with docomo sim inside. Can any one let me know atleast wat is the problem. I hav updated the firware to 11.0.045* n i think this is nly da latest.

Oct 7, 2011I am using a Blue Ant Q1 Blue Tooth headset and updated to the latest firmware on it. Now when I tell the Blue Ant Voice command the command 'Phone prompt' it connects with my Blackberry Torch 9800 Nuance Voice command option with no problems.Now when I tell the Nuance voice command the numbers of a phone number I want to call, it will repeat it back to me to verifying the number. Now the numbers are clear when the voice command repeats the number I want to call.I swear it really sounds like the very first computer voice ever created, it's all garbled and muddy like. No real clarity in what it is repeating back to me.It is very hard to make out what the voice command is repeating back to me to verify the word I used to describe the number I want it to call.Now, I shut off my Blue Ant Blue Tooth headset and tried the Nuance voice commands with my phone only and I get the same poor quality computer animated voice issues coming out of my Blackberry Torch 9800.Is this normal, I sure hope not, after purchasing what I consider a top quality cell phone. I would expect more clarity with this software from Blackberry and Nuances.This is the one feature that I really need for a cell phone to perform well for me, since I am on the road a lot for my business and needs handsfree dialing.
