BB Torch :: Inbound Emails Are Not Formatting Properly?
Jul 7, 2011All of a sudden, my inbound emails are not formatting properly. Lines of text are dropped, and graphics do not appear correctly. Two accounts, both Outlook.

Jul 13, 2011I bought my 9800 last week and uploaded music to it the next day. However, the sd card that was already inserted won't format. Every time I select the option, it says it has successfuly formatted but then the message pops up again to say that is hasn't been formatted

Nov 20, 2010I've just upgraded my phone from the 9700 to the 9780, and I can't seem to get my text messages to show both the inbound and outbound messages together in a list, in date order, like you could on the 9700.Do you know if this is possible, or do you have to keep switching between inbound and outbound through the separate folders?

Aug 12, 2010This is my third blackberry and I love them and will never change to any other smartphone. I tried an Android phone and it just doesn't compare to the stability and e-mail functionality of a Blackberry.
However recently my phone (a Bold 9700) has begun to experience some e-mail problems. I can receive emails just fine but I cannot for the life of me send an e-mail! I have deleted all my accounts and reentered all the info but I still cannot send any emails. I also can not set up a microsoft exchange account. It does not even give me the option. Please help! I need do be able to send emails for work purposes.
Lumia 950 :: Outlook Can't Render HTML Emails Properly
Dec 4, 2015I got my unlocked dual-sim 950 last week. All is good except for the new Outlook Mail app. It does fine with plain text emails, but cannot render HTML (web style) emails correctly at all. The formatting looks horrible and many items and images are just missing.
I read on another forum that this was due to the new Outlook app using MS Word as its rendering engine, rather than Internet Explorer, as was the case with Windows Phone 8.1 on my old Lumia 920. If the e-mail happens to contains a "view in browser" link, then it will open correctly in the Edge browser.
But many HTML emails don't have such a link. A decent email client should be able to render most correctly-coded HTML emails perfectly. Funny thing is that Outlook is supposed to be a Universal Windows App and it works fine on my Windows 10 desktop, but not on my phone.

May 23, 2011Every few days the browser will stop working properly. It only displays the page partially.....some words are just simply gone and some hyperlinks are just displayed as a line. It happens on multiple websites. I have been to the ATT store several times and they have checked all of the settings and reset the device. All cache and cookies have been cleared. I have also spoken with support on the phone and they had me delete some service books and they resent them. The only way I can correct the issue is to pull the battery, but it just happens a few days later.

Sep 14, 2011I got my blackberry torch 2 (9860 series) about 3 weeks ago my trouble is that when ever I use the lock button on the top of the phone the display turns off for about 1-10 seconds and then turns on again and is fully functional, not having locked the screen or buttons at all... This is a pain as one can tell as I can't put it in my pocket or anywhere without it going through settings and changing things, sending random text messages etc, what should I do to change this and have it work properly?

Sometimes the touch screen doesnīt work and sometimes is works but not in a perfect way. When I try to type some numbers to dial using the virtual keyboard some keys doesnīt work out like the back button. When I type the back button the number 3 appears in the screen. Jun 3, 2012My 9810 is acting up. None of the keys are working, even the 5 below the screen. Sometimes the track pad works but not when it is pressed, and when the back botton works it puts me into sreach mode and looks for the letter "H" only. The touch screen is fine. This was before upgrading to OS7.1. I have done multiple hard resets and it does nothing at all. This has been going on for three days now. It hasn't be dropped or anything.
Last night I upgraded to OS 7.1 now my back ground does not rotate properly with how the phone is being held it does rotate, When you hold it upright it thinks its on it's side and vise versa.

Aug 15, 2010Welp got the torch and love it, was using a captivate and an aria for about 3 weeks, neat toys but sucked as phones so back to bb I went.My convience key will let me program it for any other function other than the camera, it will work the first time after resetting it to the camera option, but won't work the shutter. Aug 16, 2010I am having issues with the keys not working properly on the touchscreen keyboard. When the phone is in portrait and I press on a key what shows up is the key at the left end of that row ex: if I press L an A shows up on the screen, if I press U I get a Q. If I turn the phone so that the keyboard is now on the same side as the USB port I only get whatever buttons are on the bottom of the screen. If I turn it 180 degress none of the keys work.
I have also noticed this happening in applications like Google Latitude. If I press any of the icons on the bottm of the screen the only one that registers is the zoom out key.
If I do a battery pull things work well for a bit and then it starts acting up again.
I haven't seen anyone else posting about this and I am hoping that it is just this phone. I am exchanging it tonight.

Dec 26, 2011My Torch 9810 touch screen doesn't work properly anymore...it works each time the phone has just been freshly boot or when a battery pull has just been performed and stops afterwards until another battery pull or boot is done. is this some sort of software problem? Aug 13, 2010I did general master reset doing the *#7370#- it restored the phone to the original settings then I started transfering contacts from the SIM card. I editted them. Then the phone went back to the original profile (them, homescreen) as it was before the formatting. Then it froze, wont let me type anything but the * or # key. Wont let me go into the menu. I tried restarting 6 times and the same thing happens over and over. I called Rogers Tech support, they have never heard of anything like that-and suggest a replacement. One thing I though it could be is that somehow during the formatting the phone got locked, but Roger's says it is not. So now I am out of the phone and need this one fixed or replaced. Has anyone heard of anything like that before? If so please help me before I buy another phone, because I would rather save this one
