BB Curve :: Messenger Failed To Register?
Nov 19, 2012I keep getting the error message: Messenger failed to register with the Blackberry Messenger service. I have checked the dates and also rebooted by removing the battery for a while.

BB Torch :: Can't Register For Internet Service
May 22, 2011So when i go on blackberry.orange.co.uk to register my blackberry so i can use the internet i click new account, enter BB Pin and IMEI numbers then click continue it says "Cannot create account, your device is not registered with your wireless service provider".
So on my BB i go to the Menu > Options > Device > Advanced System Settings > Host Routing Table > Menu button > Register new.
It then says "Registration message sent!" but nothing happens and i still can't create account?
BB Torch :: Cannot Register My Email Account
Dec 3, 2011Last night my phone kept rejecting my password which caused a security wipe out on my phone. Surprisingly my 2 email addresses were still on the phone when I tried to set up my email account via the set up option. everytime I entered the passwords to my email accounts I keep getting a message saying "sorry, unable to continue your session it does not give ne the option to delete these accounts and re-enter them and now I am unable to use my email on my phone.

Jun 6, 2011I have recently installed the latest update on my torch, and when the process has been completed I can't access any of my email accounts or several other apps i.e. fb, twitter, rss feeds, etc.I have looked through the forums and followed the steps of registering through the mobile site, but none of these methods have worked, as an error message always appears.I have also found whilst running the diagnostic that the 'blackberry registration' field is 'no'. I have tried to register the devise using the host routing table method, but this isn't giving me any results!

Jun 7, 2011I have BB Torch 9800 provided by DU (service provider in Dubai) and travelled to Canada and took plan from Rogers (service provider in Canada) to use my device there and for getting my mail was getting error message that my device is not registered but took to Roger shop and the guy fixed it immediately and now I am back in Dubai and back to DU and getting same message that my device is not registered though I have manually registered it but no use at all. Aug 2, 2011After a short time on an Android device (which I quickly got rid of) I am now back on a BlackBerry. I used to have a Bold, now I have a Torch.Now the problem is the following: on the Bold I had one BES email (I am the IT Manager of my company) and three BIS accounts (private mails).I moved the BES account on the Torch, no problem, but the three BIS accounts do not move for some reason.
I go to Setup=>Email accounts and the device reports correctly that "A new BlackBerry device has been detected. you mustmove email account(s) to resume email delivery to your BlackBerry device. Email delivery to your old device has been stopped."Following the list of three email accounts I want on the Torch.
I click "Move" and for any single email I have a screen that says "Device change successful. Validate your email account"I type email password for each account, click "continue", receive the message "Your password has been successfully validated.", click OK and exit setup and nothing happens.I still have the BES account but there is no trace of the three BIS accounts.I go back to Setup and the procedure starts again from the beginning.I am on Vodafone UK and the three email accounts are on Apple MobileMe (@me.com)
BB Torch :: Call Failed Due To Fading?
Aug 18, 2012I sent my Torch 9810 in to Rogers for repair (phone was overheating). Today they sent me a new replacement, because they couldn't fix the old one....but now the new one can't send or receive calls. I keep getting the error message "Call Failed due to Fading". Is this a network or a hardware problem? Rogers said it was the network and tech support said it could be the hardward..

Feb 16, 2012My GPS on my Torch always worked fine. Even after the last OS update everything worked fine.
My data:
Blackberry 9800

But just since a few weeks my GPS is not working. If I go to Device > Location Settings > BB Button > Refresh Location I will get a message displaying "Location Update Failed" after a few seconds.

Feb 1, 2011new Torch is unable to associate with my work wifi network when it uses WEP password. If I change wifi network to WPA password, then it works (But I cannot change it because the network is unsing WDS and it isn't compatible with WPA).
My old BB Pearl 8120 works fine with same network using WEP password. Therefore, what's happenign with Torch wifi?. Is there any wifi upgrade for Torch? For your information, the wifi router is an SMC Barricade-N (SMCWBR14-N)
I have tried almost everything. I'm desesperate. Torch is giving connections problems also with my wifi home network and also with my bluetooth handfree car system. If there isn't a solution soon I will have to change it for another mobile.

Jan 10, 2011I tried to update my BB torch 9860 using OTA from 7.1 bundle 1149 up to 7.1 bundle 2016. After update was successfully finished, I noticed that the screen on BB has changed. All icons became very small or missing. The phone is working, I can accept calls, but cannot dial because cannot access the dial pad. I've tried to downgrade to the previous version, and after successful downgrade, at least that what's was written, the problem persist. If I try to access some applications the screen shows: uncaught exception: Bitmap invalid (null). I cannot access Application management. The phone constantly get stuck on one screen for a long time....

Oct 16, 2011So, a couple days ago, I noticed my pics had disappeared. The phone said "A Media Card has been insert that contains errors" and I tried to repair them, but as others have found, "Media Card Repair Failed". When I plugged both the phone, and then the media card via a card reader, into my laptop, the "camera" folder was simply a Unix file, not a folder anymore, and obviously no contents. So is the problem the card, or is the instructions for the camera missing? I've tried taking the battery out a few times to reboot - no effect. I've tried "repair" repeatedly and that doesn't work. I've not managed to re-format the card so do let me know how exactly to do that via the phone, if you think that's the best option.
