Aug 27, 2011my BB9800 host routing table is empty. i tried register now, but its still the same. and my BIS cannot work with my phone, but if i but my sim in another BB, it will work. and my browser works and takes money when not even connected to BIS. what will i do?

Jun 7, 2011I have BB Torch 9800 provided by DU (service provider in Dubai) and travelled to Canada and took plan from Rogers (service provider in Canada) to use my device there and for getting my mail was getting error message that my device is not registered but took to Roger shop and the guy fixed it immediately and now I am back in Dubai and back to DU and getting same message that my device is not registered though I have manually registered it but no use at all. Checked all possible options and blogs but nothing seems to be working and not able to get my mails on my device.

I am trying to activate my BBM and it was already registered on my provider however my provider cannot detect my device because the host routing table was not registered. I tried to register my host routing table several times but I am not getting any response. Everything was enabled on my phone. The data services was enabled and the TCP IP was also enabled. The only problem is, I am not getting any response when I register my host routing table that's why cannot use my phone on any blackberry apps or socials and bbm.

Oct 30, 2011I bought a Torch 9800 in Hongkong, being aware, that differentation between Enterprise version and prosumer version is not more existing.When I tried to do the enterpise activation ( BES ) I saw, that edge was alway in small letters and activation failed always. I checked the host reouting table and found under APN the entry "t-mobile.net" instead of blackberry. net. My IT colleague told me that this is most probably the reason why i cannot activate, because the device will be identified as a prosumer version.how to change the APN? If not possible the device is waste for me, because I cannot use wiith our exchange server.

May 22, 2011So when i go on blackberry.orange.co.uk to register my blackberry so i can use the internet i click new account, enter BB Pin and IMEI numbers then click continue it says "Cannot create account, your device is not registered with your wireless service provider".
So on my BB i go to the Menu > Options > Device > Advanced System Settings > Host Routing Table > Menu button > Register new.
It then says "Registration message sent!" but nothing happens and i still can't create account?

Dec 3, 2011Last night my phone kept rejecting my password which caused a security wipe out on my phone. Surprisingly my 2 email addresses were still on the phone when I tried to set up my email account via the set up option. everytime I entered the passwords to my email accounts I keep getting a message saying "sorry, unable to continue your session it does not give ne the option to delete these accounts and re-enter them and now I am unable to use my email on my phone.

Aug 11, 2010I have already installed the new Desktop Manager 6.0 that I downloaded from the RIM site.
I am thinking the safest way to not have a problem is the just restore my 9800 data from a back up rather than do the Switch Device thing. Anyone worried it might bring erroneous crap into the new 6.0 OS.
Maybe it would be better to redo my settings after the data install to make sure all is clean and working correctly. Some of the 5.0 setting would not be applicable to the new 6.0 software.

Apr 2, 2010Next couple of months I'll be staying in a house with no Internet access, yep it does exist. But I'll be in a built up area so should be 3G, anyway so plan to teether that. I've been looking at the options and a tenner a month seems alright. But you only get 3GB for that. But just a bit of internet surfing, IM, etc would that probably be ok? I know its easy to underestimate what you use. But not sure I'll have that much time to use it at any rate as at work I'll obviously use their internet, it's only when I'm at the flat! Also anyone used the o2 service, any good? Easy to set up?
