I would like to ask for assistance on my bb torch 9860, my brother accidentally reset the phone and erased all my data stored in it, the worst thing is I did't have back up for any of my contacts in bbm and also having problems listing on desktop software indicating Blackberry 7.0.0 core application mark as required and not installed?
I had an app that I had wrote down passwords and added pictures to and when I update to 5.1.1 it put my phone in recovery mode so I had to restore it and after that I got my apps back but not the information on them like the pictures and passwords. Is there a way to get it back?
I've to send my Iphone 4 away to be repaired, I have Icloud switched on my phone & saved my contacts, calendar etc to my pc.restore my phone to factory settings before I send it away & how do I restore all my data back on to my phone when it is returned to me ?
I tried to download a ringtone and my phone then told me it needed to restore because of the updates. I transferred my purchases over but stupidly didn't make a back up. After restorting I realised the most recent back up I had was for April. So I used that back up. However does anybody know whether it is possible, in any way, for me to get my phone restored back to just before it decided to restore. I've tried looking through the forums but have had no luck.
Since 2/23, I have had massive data usage at random times. 1GB here and there, sometimes in the middle of the night. My Data Sense shows that the "Restore data" app has used 8.17 GB in the last two days. All of my other apps are using negligible amounts of data. What is the "Restore data" app, and how do I tell it to stop using so much data?
One additional bit of info: 2/23 was also the date that the Microsoft Health app updated. I use a MS Band. It seems like there may have been some type of update pending on the band. When I called Verizon's tech support, they said that the pending update might have something to do with the massive data usage. We completed the update to the Band, and they said to give it another day to see if the data usage continues. What this "Restore data" app is, it doesn't sound like it has anything to do with the Band.
I am a BES user and recently my account had to be recreated. I had taken a back up of the device from desktop manager. However after restore I find that all the BBM contacts, Bookmarks and Auto-text was not restored.I had spent a lot of time in making all the Auto text relevant to me. Doesn't the back-up process back up all these data?
Trying to update my phone and backup and restore contacts, msgs etc before, but when i press backup it keeps telling me to insert memory card. Mine is already in the phone, always has been, tried taking out n put back in again, turning phone on n off etc. still saying to insert a memory card!
at first i restored my phone as new, then i restore again from backup, but the photos won't sync to my phone.everything else was back; contacts, mail, note, sms, wallpaper but no photos and apps. for those apps it's ok i can download them back but how can i get my photos back?i check my backup files, the photos are there but it won't sync to my phone, there are over 2600+ pics, if there is any better way than that i have to rename every sigle files one by one.there is a weird thing, on my backup files the time last modified and the time shown on itune when u choose which backup file u want to restore from, are not the same, there are slighly different, althoght the lates one are the same but the result still the same no photo; even in every file there are photos in it.
I updated my iphone 5S, which I regret because it made my music app unplayable. I backed it up before updating, while trying to restore my phone from that back up an error message pops up sayif there is not enough room to restore from back up. There's 16.6 GB used and 10.2GB available. I read online that I can go to settinga > general > erase all content and settings, and that would free up the space to restore from back up. However I had this same issue on my old phone and no matter how much I deleted from my phone there still wasn't enough room to restore from back up. So I'm concerned that if I do clear my phone by erasing all content and settings that I will still be unable to restore my phone from back up and then I'll just be screwed.
I have just upgraded the firmware and have lost everything that was on my phone. I have tried to restore from back up but keeps coming up with "itunes could not restore the iphone "#######" because the back up session failed.
The back up was done just couple minutes before i upgraded and i have also tried previous back ups but none of them work.
Is there going to be a way to get the back up working?
I need to view a few texts that were deleted from my iPhone 4 (iPhone has not been synced since text was deleted).
how I would accomplish this through backing up my device? From what I understand, if you backup your device, deleted texts are included in the backup file. If I were to restore my iPhone using this backup file, would the previously deleted texts now show back up on the phone? This is the part I don't fully understand.
I just tried syncing my 4S to my itunes and I previously used my 3G iPhone before the 4S. When I plugged it in, it restored all of my old 3g settings to my 4S, now I have lost several pictures, apps, and contacts. How do I find my old backup so that I can restore everything back to it again?
I discovered that i deleted videos and pictures that i did not want to delete and need them back. I have since backed my iphone up a few times on itunes and need to recovers my pictures from further back. I tried the iphone extracter but it would only let me recover from my most recent back up
