I had to change my password for my personal yahoo email yesterday, Received a message telling me how to reset so I can start receiving them again, but accidently deleted it thinking automatically it was from my yahoo not blackberry email.

My phone had Outlook connected to the office exchange server and had added Yahoo, Gmail and Aol on my phone for email access.Last evening when i tried to uninstall/ delete the Yahoo service from my phone, to my surprise i found that my Gmail and AOL accounts were also deleted. It does not stop there ...My yahoo account is not apperaing on the main screen as a seperate icon buy I am still receiving email and updates from my YAHOO account alone which is reflected in the MESSAGE ICON.Could some help me delete the yahoo account of my phone completely.I deleted the yahoo account by going in OPTIONS --> DEVICE --> ADVANCED SYSTEM SETTINGS --> SERVICE BOOKS. after doing this and returing to the main screen i find my gmail and aol accounts also deleted.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI wanted to edit an event on the phone. The event not editable, dont know why. However then i saw the option of deleting the event. On clicking that, it said Delete all Events. When I confirmed the deletion, it not only deleted that event but all the events on my phone. Now when i sync with my gmail account, I get the message " Delete Limit Exceeded. What would like to do now?" I select the option "Undo Deletion" but nothing happens. Is there a way the calendar entries can be retrieved?

Last back up was in Jan 2012 and have lots of info/contacts, etc on Blackberry so I would prefer to backup current to date; I just backed up a few minutes ago (so now have 2 backups saved on my desktop); however still need that contact with that info. Can I retrieve only that contact info anywhere, even if I just see it and write it out?

Yesterday i have accidently deleted the download folder for web downloads in which all the downloads from web app like pics, music etc was suppose to go. Now the pics etc are not getting download and show error. Previously everything was working fine. Before deleting that folder, i used to long press on the pic and options page used to open and from there i select save image, now the option page do come, i select save image, the image try to download then it donot open and a message says your phone is out of memory.

I keep noticing a yahoo file folder in my file explorer in my phone's internal storage. Every time I delete it it comes back within a few minutes. I do not have yahoo mail installed on my phone. I think it might be attached to an app but I don't know which one if that's the case.

Recently, my blackberry fails to sync with messages deleted in my yahoo inbox. I have to go on the device and delete the email a second time. Has anyone else had this issue or can you offer any advice to fix the issue?
I have tried waiting an hour or more to see if the blackberry will reconcile and remove the messages. Also, I go into my email and select reconcile now. These things did not work. I have not changed any of my email sync settings from when the blackberry was syncing fully. They are still set to inbox wins. Also, I even tried resending service books and deleting/reinstalling the yahoo email. None of these have worked so far!
My email messages get deleted or simply disappear from Blackberry device within 10-15 days despite the fact that "Days to Keep Messages" option is set to 180 days. Free memory under device information is currently listed at 12,981,073 bytes. All messages are kept and evailable on Yahoo email server.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI was having problems downloading from the app store (which another thread resolution solved for me) but in the midst of working on this issue, a friend suggested I do a hard reset on the phone by holding the top power button and the little dot on the front until it just shut off. I did this and I come back to none of my text messages. They have all been deleted. I can't find anything on the forums about this.
I am not sure I particularly care, meaning I don't think I had too much in the way of important information contained in them, but it wasn't supposed to do that so that's a bit annoying to me. Why did my phone do something it wasn't supposed to do?

This morning my 2-yr old was touching my iphone and when I took it away, it says LOCKED SIM and wants me to enter a pin !!!
I tried twice and failed. I have only one last attempt left it says..I don't know what happens then and don't want to find out --;
Is it possible for her to have set the pin for the SIM card?? Because then I have NO idea what numbers she could have pressed.
But I had my phone locked all the time so she couldn't have gotten through my phone passcode. So I don't know how she could have set the SIM pin...
So now, nobody can get through to me because my phone is not getting any calls. I am able to access evertyhing else - mail, internet, contacts...
I've deleted my quickoffice in my c6. Will hard reset or soft reset will restore it back?

My contacts still sync fine, but I will get an error message that says "connection to Yahoo server was lost" when I try to sync the calendar. Both BB and Yahoo have been upgraded and now the sync no longer works. I just updated my DM to version 6.0 bundle 2949 and find that it doesn't offer me Yahoo anymore to sync in my organizer. All I'm offered is Windows Contacts, or icalendar for calendar and tasks.
The last update I installed lost the calendar sync option, but I have lived with that. But this is way more important to me. I saw forum advice to the effect that version 6.1 supports Yahoo.
