I was able to synch to my Torch last week. I was going to update my wife's Torch. However, the Blackberry desktop which was the latest one downloaded from the Blackberry website. I did have the latest OS version on my phone and my phone is now not being detected either. I tried everything from a clean install of the desktop software to taking the battery out to restarting the laptop to trying to update the drivers via the control panel. The laptop is using Vista with SP2.
I cannot get a Bluetooth driver for my Torch 9800 so I can pair up with Windows 7. Windows says device driver missing, and I can't find one on the internet...
Ive found several devices or apps that actually block Texting emailing even calls for phones in motion. But they all seem to work with Droid or every other phone besides Apple!? Does anyone know of a device or app that actually BLOCKs a driver from texting while driving.
I can pair my torch 9800 with my laptop running Windows 7 but it can not install the driver. Where do I find the driver? It pairs, my torch is showing in device list, Windows searches for driver but not able to find the driver to install.
1. images are not automatically appearing (need to click get images) 2. the HTML emails are appearing too wide. I have to scroll to the right to see the other half of the email.
i bought a new torch 9860 with OS7. when i try to open any flash video from facebook, it doesn;t open and says my phone doesnot support this. on adobe site, there is no flash player available for blackberry os7.
My touch screen stopped working only when the Torch is slid open. The track pad still works and can use the menu to navigate but what a pain. This started three days ago. Phone is 17 months old. Is this a setting?
I think my title says it all, I've tried battery pulls and nothing helped. Is this just a hardware problem? Do I just need to return is or is there anything else I could try?
I bought Xperia ray few days ago and trying to build app using bluetooth and PC. PC is running windows 7.I can pair (send four numbers, confirm numbers) but when W7 tries do install drivers the drivers are not found. I tried several things. BlueTerm won't connect. Bluetooth File Transfer won't connect also. Also I tried adding com port for incoming in BT settings (as suggested in one post) but won't connect again?!The Xperia is running Android 2.3.4 version!
Also, want to mention that I'm able to connect to the same PC (and BT dongle) with other phones with no problems at all!is it true that SE does not support (create) BT drivers for win 7??? If so I'm very disappointed .the phone is great but the driver is really something that's needed!
I ahave just spoken to a support agent at Samsung and I am told that there is no driver available for this phone. Doen anyone have any suggestions other than returning the phone?
I have just bought an iphone 3GS on ebay.plugged it in to itunes to restore it. the data was wipped and i got a message saying driver not installed. iphone is now not recognised in itunes or my computer and says in recovery mode in device manager. phone now does not work.
I know that one of the solutions for installing the MTP driver is to change your usb connection to Mass Storage and delete a folder in the private folder but i can't find it in the private folder! plenty of other folders with lots of digits but no 10208913 folder.
I have just given up and started using WMP in mass storage but it means i can't transfer actual playlists, the songs are transfered but i have to make a playlist manually on my phone which can get real tedious.
We recently bought a Curve 9360, but I can't get the device driver to load. I've loaded the Blackberry Desktop fine, but as soon as we connect the phone to the computer we get a message that states the device driver cannot load.
I've just downloaded the new v5 software for my curve 8520. I really dislike the BBM this version carries. Is there any possible way that I can either downgrade the software or just downgrade the BBm app (which would be most preferable)?
I'm unable to connect my xperia ray to my pc or any other computer. The phone is charging but I get the error message usb driver not installed. I want to update to ics.
I have updated my SK17i to ICS from GB over the past weekend and now when I connect it to a PC without admin privilege, it prompts for admin login to install driver which wasn't required under GB. I can pass up on making a data connection to the PC (though it would be nice to have), but right now without installing the driver the phone won't even charge.
I'm trying to use QuickLink Mobile Phone Book on a Dell Vostro 200 desktop running Windows XP. I can't seem to load the drivers from the install disk. The installation wizard can't find the drivers. Has anybody run into this problem?

Intention - to tether my HTC sensation xe to my Sony Vaio (win7 premium all up to date) Latest version of sync d/oaded from HTC directHas anyone actually succeeded to install HTC sync AND the driver installer? I have tried this several times... even contacting HTC and the best they can do is say that it's a registry fault and I needed to obtain a registry cleaner/repairer. I tried this, no difference. Used Sony's own reg/cleaner as well as regcure pro. NO difference.... "it appears that the driver installer failed to install"I hope someone can maybe sort this out as I notice it is a long standing pain in t'arse for many users.
Im trying to create and application on for my Droid 3 but when i connect the phone to my computer it starts to install the driver but then says driver installation failed. Also, when i turn on debugging for my Droid it doesnt show up on my phone. Im sure this is because of the failed installation.
