View 4 Replies View RelatedI mistakenly installed the 7280 device code on my computer for my 7230 device. Was trying to upgrade the device since the reception was poor.
Now, the desktop manager (v 4.2 and 5.1) do not communicate with the device at all. as soon as i plug the blackberry into the USB, the desktop manager goes into "working" mode so i cannot synchronise or do anything with the desktop software while the blackberry remains plugged in.
Question: how do i get the 7230 device code back (newest version ideally but any edition will do)? It is an old model so finding it hard to locate the device code.
Both laptop and phone see one another but the laptop gives me error message that driver cannot be installed. First query: Can this android phone interface with Win 7 OS via bluetooth? Would a LAN connection be more optimal. If so, can I connect phone to my home LAN?

I bought Xperia ray few days ago and trying to build app using bluetooth and PC. PC is running windows 7.I can pair (send four numbers, confirm numbers) but when W7 tries do install drivers the drivers are not found. I tried several things. BlueTerm won't connect. Bluetooth File Transfer won't connect also. Also I tried adding com port for incoming in BT settings (as suggested in one post) but won't connect again?!The Xperia is running Android 2.3.4 version!
Also, want to mention that I'm able to connect to the same PC (and BT dongle) with other phones with no problems at all!is it true that SE does not support (create) BT drivers for win 7??? If so I'm very disappointed .the phone is great but the driver is really something that's needed!

View 9 Replies View RelatedWhen I connect my 6P to my desktop, it installs the drivers, but it won't show up on my computer. I can't access any of the data. It charges but no actual transfer. I have changed the setting to MTP, tried installing new drivers, Android Debugging toggled (adb push works oddly enough), installing Google drivers, but nothing seems to work!
Also to note: My brother's Nexus 6 won't connect, and neither will my other brother's OnePlus One. It makes me think it has something to do with standard Android devices?
I'm on Windows 8.1 FYI.
I have updated my SK17i to ICS from GB over the past weekend and now when I connect it to a PC without admin privilege, it prompts for admin login to install driver which wasn't required under GB. I can pass up on making a data connection to the PC (though it would be nice to have), but right now without installing the driver the phone won't even charge.

However would be more beneficial to the users of the Xperia Play as it would have a huge impact on how well games run on the device.

Looking into this matter I found that in my Application Center, the BB Messenger is listed as "not installed" even though I installed it. Re-install also hasn't helped.i cannot delete it as "delete" is not listed in the menu. I'm also not able to see the application using teh Desktop Manager.
