View 9 RepliesI've been a BB fan for some years. I'm using now a BB Bold 9700 but I've recently experienced enormous performance problems and flaws on my BB, since I've upgraded to OS6. Mainly the issue appears to be on the Application Storage capabilities. It seems that the device only allows 250MB of application storage, being that the OS6 and some BB required software use the majority of it. I've around 8-10 apps which I've been using: Twitter, Facebook, Dropbox. ScoreMobile, GoogleMaps, Accuweather and a few others.
The application storage memory available is already below 2MB even after deleting all the not needed files, applications, language packs, etc. I've experienced that sometimes, when I reboot the system, there is an increase of space available but it keeps reducing after a few days without any further app installations. This problem affects the overall performance of the device. I've experienced three major things:
1. After being for sometime on stand-by, when I want to use the phone, the BB seems to freeze for about 30sec/1min before it reacts on my commands.
2. Very often, I wake up in the morning and the BB simply deleted all the emails in my inbox. IT appears to be a consequence of a low memory situation.
3. Even just using a few apps, I would like to install a bunch of new other stuff. Nevertheless I'm not able to do so as I do not have memory available for it.
Is there anyway to move the apps to the media file storage? How can I stop this?
my BBM has disappeared but apps loader says its installed.I backed up my phone and my BBM was gone! i tried to re-install it and it says its still installed but I cant find it.
View 1 Replies View Relatedno matter which net my phone is connected to (3g, home network, school network) the apps show that they can't connect to the internet. the browser works perfectly.

In the last week my bold 9700 keeps on displaying memory manager and shows applications I can delete, but won't actually let me delete anything as it's basicall frozen with clock icon ticking away.Strange thing is if I reboot device, and look at available memory it shows 30mb available, but as I watch it ticks its way down to nothing.What could be eating at memory when I'm not doing anything.Device has become basically useless.After this started, I did install new release of OS that was available when connected to my PC hoping that would solve issue.APP world does not display all my installed apps when I go there??

From time to time, any of the apps I use (from the official Internet browser, to Foursqure, Opera Mini, Gmail, or any other that need Internet access for that matter) don't even give me the dialogue to chose an Internet connection. I just get a message: Unable to connect to Internet.
I'm pretty sure all my settings are ok, especially because this happens sometimes (from never per day to always per day/session) and there are no rules when it starts working again. Sometimes it needs a few phone restarts, sometimes it just need some time.
So basically, the applications don't try to evoke Internet access. Even if I already have a constant Wi-Fi connection, they still don't see it "or even try to do so by asking".
I recently bought a Xperia Neo V and have been facing some problems. The phone can connect to the internet using the browser but none of the applications can connect to the internet. I tried multiple SIM cards but the problem persists.

Nokia store and web browser are connecting just fine as well as some apps such as "QuickBeer", "News", "NokiaGoal", "Maps and Drive". However other apps, which I like to check quite often, such as "Bloomberg" and "Allaboutsymbian" do not connect while mobile data is ON. (they do only in WiFi)
Regarding software settings:
WAP services is my default connection.
Allow mobile data usage: Home country
Admin settings --> Mobile data connection: when needed
High speed packet access: Enable.
So everything works just fine but the mentioned apps above.
And regarding phone and OS info: Nokia 700

I had downloaded Opera mini 4.2 and iheartradio and slacker radio and they all worked perfect for the past 3 days and then all of a sudden they do not work. I get timed out of logins and even google maps app on my phone wont connect. The only app that will connect to the internet is the BB browser (the one that looks like a globe with halo around it). There are no other apps running causing a clog up. There is 6.8GB open in memory, so im stumped????? Someone please help me Im racking my brain trying to figure out what would cause this. The last time it worked was in the morning listening to slacker, then went to lunch tried to get on Opera wouldn't connect, so i got on BB browser, from then on it wont connect with any other app.
View 6 Replies View RelatedWhen i touch my browser icon or my STL cardinals baseball app icon or anything that has to connect to the internet(accept FB icon, that one works) my phone will do nothing, and i have to press the back key just to use screen. take the battery out and put it back in, that only works for about 2-10 hours before it wont connect again.

I'd like to continue using my Blackberry Bold 9000 as a free wi-fi only internet access device and install the Google Voice app so my kids could text message and make phone calls via the Google Voice app and phone's wi-fi connection. While my BB Bold is able to connect to our home wi-fi network like in the past it doesn't successfully connect to the internet and gives me the following message: "Unable to connect to the internet, please try again later."
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Blackberry Bold 9780, and I can not connect to the internet through WiFi. I am trying to access the internet through a WAP2 secure router. I have entered the correct password, and per review of the router log, it has assigned an IP address to my phone. However, when I try to verify the IP address on my phone, the IP address is 0.00.0.0.
When I try to access teh interenet on my phone, the error message i get is that my phone is unable to connect to the interent.Since I am traveling from home, I have truned off the data service on my phone,, but I should still be able to access the internet through the WiFi service.
I have been having issues for the last month or so with my 9700. When I get home none of my internet heavy apps or the browser work. Its not every day. Just intermittently. After multiple calls to T-Mo and verification that there were NO issues in my area (a full 3G area) they finally sent me a replacement 9700. I've had it a week and no problems...until today. Same issue. If I put my phone on 2G it seems to work ok if its on 3G/2G it won't connect to the internet at all.Anyone out there know why this could be happening? I had me first 9700 since November with zero internet connectivity issues.

I would love some feedback.. By the way i dont have any Wi-Fi, i want to use 3G.. there is a 3G symbol in the top right so it should fail connecting to Wi-Fi and go 3G?
I just got my Bold 9700 a few days ago, so I'm still new to the whole blackberry thing. For whatever reason my phone hasn't been able to connect to the internet all day. The weather eye app just hangs for minutes when selected. The score mobile app just says no data available, connection method BIS. Has this happened to anyone else? Are there some settings I should try changing? Should I call my carrier for help? Is this just some temporary outage?

Host route, manual re-setting phone, installing updated software - absolutely everything. They have even sent me two new phones, but still no joy.

without Wi-Fi. I have already tried:
1. Unplug the battery multiple times
2. Host Table Resend
3. Resend Service Books
I am able to make calls etc. but e-mail internet only works when I use my home Wi-Fi connection but not using 3G. Does anyone have any other suggestions on what I could try. I have called AT&T and the only suggestion they gave is to wipe the device which seems rather drastic.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am using Blackberry 9900 smartphone with OS version7.0 Bundle 1346 (V7.0.0.261, Platform 5.0.0.464)and i was initially able to connect to internet via apps and browser but after a while, i am unable to connect to internet via the application in the phone such as Facebook, Twitter, What's App and etc. I try 3G and wifi with no success but weird thing is i am still able to do web browsing via the blackberry native web browser. Have Google and found user with similar problem in the link [URL]The only way that i can able to use the app again is by taking out the battery and put it back to reboot the device. Then i will be able to use it for 5-8 hours where this problem will happen again.
