I bought Xperia ray few days ago and trying to build app using bluetooth and PC. PC is running windows 7.I can pair (send four numbers, confirm numbers) but when W7 tries do install drivers the drivers are not found. I tried several things. BlueTerm won't connect. Bluetooth File Transfer won't connect also. Also I tried adding com port for incoming in BT settings (as suggested in one post) but won't connect again?!The Xperia is running Android 2.3.4 version!
Also, want to mention that I'm able to connect to the same PC (and BT dongle) with other phones with no problems at all!is it true that SE does not support (create) BT drivers for win 7??? If so I'm very disappointed .the phone is great but the driver is really something that's needed!
Ive found several devices or apps that actually block Texting emailing even calls for phones in motion. But they all seem to work with Droid or every other phone besides Apple!? Does anyone know of a device or app that actually BLOCKs a driver from texting while driving.

I have updated my SK17i to ICS from GB over the past weekend and now when I connect it to a PC without admin privilege, it prompts for admin login to install driver which wasn't required under GB. I can pass up on making a data connection to the PC (though it would be nice to have), but right now without installing the driver the phone won't even charge.
Does anyone know is SE has any intention of delivering the Adreno 205 driver update to the Xperia Play? The driver update was released by Qualcomm on 30th December at the end of last year and some devices (None of which are Xperia devices) have had the update which is believed to give a performance increase of upto 1.5x or even 2x in some cases depending on phone and app.I believe this has been discussed at some point for the Arc, which also has the same GPU as the Xperia Play. However would be more beneficial to the users of the Xperia Play as it would have a huge impact on how well games run on the device.
I ahave just spoken to a support agent at Samsung and I am told that there is no driver available for this phone. Doen anyone have any suggestions other than returning the phone?

I did have the latest OS version on my phone and my phone is now not being detected either. I tried everything from a clean install of the desktop software to taking the battery out to restarting the laptop to trying to update the drivers via the control panel. The laptop is using Vista with SP2.
I know that one of the solutions for installing the MTP driver is to change your usb connection to Mass Storage and delete a folder in the private folder but i can't find it in the private folder! plenty of other folders with lots of digits but no 10208913 folder.
I have just given up and started using WMP in mass storage but it means i can't transfer actual playlists, the songs are transfered but i have to make a playlist manually on my phone which can get real tedious.

Intention - to tether my HTC sensation xe to my Sony Vaio (win7 premium all up to date) Latest version of sync d/oaded from HTC directHas anyone actually succeeded to install HTC sync AND the driver installer? I have tried this several times... even contacting HTC and the best they can do is say that it's a registry fault and I needed to obtain a registry cleaner/repairer. I tried this, no difference. Used Sony's own reg/cleaner as well as regcure pro. NO difference.... "it appears that the driver installer failed to install"I hope someone can maybe sort this out as I notice it is a long standing pain in t'arse for many users.
