BB Torch :: Software Update Yesterday And Now BBM Icon Is Gone

My (Verizon) Torch 9850 had an icon that a software update was available yesterday so i down loaded it and installed it. Now my BBM icon is gone! I have set the phone to "show all icons" and searched all the folders and still no BBM icon.
I did a battery pull and still no BBM icon. I did a secure wipe(including applications and SD card) and still no BBM icon. App world still shows BBM installed
Blackberry desktop shows it installed bu an update available. however when I click to update the device I get a message stating no updates are available.

I have lost my BB messenger after backup and updating my Torch handset. The current version I have seems to be difficult to ascertain. I am also unable to go and update via the Appworld because it is showing as if I already have the current version. Meanwhile people can send me messages but I am unable to get any on my set.

Hi, i installed yesterday Rom for my neo v for ICS 4.0.4 but after i installed the phone doesn't want to work and when i open it,the sony logo just appear and nothing happened. What can i do to recover my previous system.

I have had no email on my blackberry since yesterday. I called Verizon, my provider, who told me there were some issues with Blackberry. I have tried taking out the battery, deleting my email address from the service book, etc.

My iphone 4S was stolen yesterday and was synced to my mac. I have purchased a new iphone 4S and am trying to sync it to my mac but it is saying the software is too old for the sync! I am told i have to upgrade to IOS 5 before sync can be done.

I got a BB Torch, i tried to set up the email by following the demo online, but there is no personal email setting on there just work email, and i tried to set up my email as enterprise account, it showed activation request failed.

In the status bar in which icons such as new BBM message or calendar alert, I currently have a number 1 with a Wi-Fi icon next to it. I have searched the online manual and it shows me every icon but this one. Usually, when you tap on said status bar, a list of alert drops down. Any and all icons that have appeared show me why they are there, e.g.: new email from Buddy, new BBM from Marco. This particular icon shows nothing.

I have a bb torch on vodafone uk and for the last week or so when I turn the phone on I get a list of options from vodafone like, horoscopes,weather,customer services,news etc if I click on one it will send a txt to me about such subject but I want rid! On vodafone mobiles u get a little sim like icon on the home screen that pulls up this menu but it is coming up automatic when phone is turned on! Have tried the usual battery pull but no joy. Its not a massive deal but does get quite anoying when u go to get ur phone out and end up sending for the latest vodafone prices etc.

I use a TORCH 9800. After i recenthy updated my app world to 4.0.63, the app world icon is missing. I installed it, still not found, I tried HIDDEN options, tried RE-BOOTINGI found a page where there were 4 causes and 4 resolutions given. The first 3 i tried and no use. The 4 th option is to click the given URL and update the device software, but that URL itself is not working.

My Wife has a BB Torch and we can't find the 'Places' icon on the ribbon/banner of the Facebook app. I pressed the menu button and check options but there was nothing in there. I tried to check for Face updates but it was check off to check automatically. GPS location is enabled in system properties.

I just had an OS update to the phone today (12/17/11) And as usual I had to resetup everything on the phone. Well I setup three email accounts, one of which is gmail (my main one). It is the only one of the three that did not create an icon when I confirmed it was setup. It only shows up messages in the main messaging icon for all email accounts.I have hard restarted the phone, I have uninstalled and reinstalled all the emails again, nothing changes.
