View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter I recently updated my OS on the Torch (and had a ton of issues with the battery drain) I have noticed that occasionally when I am on the web it removes hyper links -- like if I'm reading a news story and it has a link to a previous story it's just blank. Or if I'm on Facebook (the mobile web edition, not the app) it has blank spots where my friends names would normally be. I can't click on a link, even when I know it's there, so the link is not only hidden but not useful.
It's happened about 5 or 6 times since the upgrade. I do pull the batter and do a reset and everything goes back to normal, but that gets annoying after awhile.
After recent OS upgrade to current OS v6.0.0.600 my browser email such as hotmail won't spawn links embedded in an email. The link is hot and can be clicked and open but does not do it automatically as it did on former OS versions. Now here is the interesting part. If I turn off phone antennae and go WiFi, it works perfectly. I prefer to read browser email as such and not deliver it to my BB inbox.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have recently got a torch 9800, but when I try to access Twitter it comes up with "java.lang.ClassCast Exception" and when I try to log into facebook it says "we cannot reach the Facebook server at this time. Please try again later. (100)" Other applications that use the internet seem to work ok. It's just these two. I have tried deleting them, but when I go to install them, it asks if I want to reinstall, so it obviously didn't get rid of them completely. I even did a hard restart after deleting, by taking the battery out whilst still on, and not reinserting it for about a minute.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm having a hard time logging in to facebook for 2 days now. Error message keeps popping up. The exact message is "we cannot reach the facebook server at this time. please try again later. (100)". And on my Twitter, the error message is "BWP security token retrieval failed." I already done the hard reset and even tried clearing stuff that I could. Should I re-install facebook and twitter?

I have both FB and Twitter running on my phone but it is not integrated into social feed and it is not available as a drop-down item either... I did device switch and both FB and Twitter disappeared so I had to download FB and Twitter apps manually onto the 9800.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've had my Torch for 2-3 weeks now. I do not remember ever seeing the twitter app pre installed. I certainly don't remember deleting it. When I go to twitter to download the blackberry app it gives me a notice."Sorry, your device does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support Twitter for BlackBerry Smartphones."
I don't use twitter that much, but would like it installed in case I do. It's really not my main concern, my main concern is that this is a bigger issue that I need to get resolved before I'm stuck with a phone that doesn't work like it's supposed to and won't be able to run other apps. Any ideas? I'm still running the original OS.
WHen I try to download an app it does the normal thing, and takes forever installing it. Once its installed it wont load. I get "Error loading module VerifyError "

View 1 Replies View Relatedim using a lexar 32gb micro sd class 10 in my 9860 with the latest OS and yes i use quick pull but (as far as i know) its never caused a problem for me but after reading a few threads if i get my phone back on ill delete it and try the old method of rebooting..its only recently that my phone crashed and while using it. it then went into a rebooting mode where it would load 2/3 of the way and then restart again repeatedly. If it did manage to get past that stage the phone would go back to default settings and have a message on screen saying "cannot not access internal memory errors detected" then it would give an option to "repair now" and also a checkbox if i wanted to save lost clusters. i was able after several attempts to get it to reformat using bb desktop manager. (which worked well for a time) but then the message would come up ever so often upon reboot stating "internal memory errors detected " would i like to repair it?. clicking repair would work sometimes but other times it would just send the phone back into the rebooting mode all over again ....which is where im at tonight as it crashed again.... i store all my stuff on my 32gb i put nothing on the 2.5gb onboard, so then why is it giving me this headache? Now it isnt rebooting anymore its just stuck on 2/3 boot until the battery dies
