im using a lexar 32gb micro sd class 10 in my 9860 with the latest OS and yes i use quick pull but (as far as i know) its never caused a problem for me but after reading a few threads if i get my phone back on ill delete it and try the old method of rebooting..its only recently that my phone crashed and while using it. it then went into a rebooting mode where it would load 2/3 of the way and then restart again repeatedly. If it did manage to get past that stage the phone would go back to default settings and have a message on screen saying "cannot not access internal memory errors detected" then it would give an option to "repair now" and also a checkbox if i wanted to save lost clusters. i was able after several attempts to get it to reformat using bb desktop manager. (which worked well for a time) but then the message would come up ever so often upon reboot stating "internal memory errors detected " would i like to repair it?. clicking repair would work sometimes but other times it would just send the phone back into the rebooting mode all over again ....which is where im at tonight as it crashed again.... i store all my stuff on my 32gb i put nothing on the 2.5gb onboard, so then why is it giving me this headache? Now it isnt rebooting anymore its just stuck on 2/3 boot until the battery dies
i have been using my blackberry for the past five months when it suddenly went blank on me the phone just blanked off and the red light started blinking then the load screen with the hourglass and the load bar would come up but the bar wouldn't load and it would blank off again...i was told by the store that i bought it from that the software had crashed and that it would need to be reinstalled... long story short the software can't be reinstalled for whatever reason and i now have a very expensive paperweight
I wasnt having any trouble with my blackberry and then i accidentally dropepd it and the batter fell out .I put it back in and as usual the blackberry logo came up and it began to reboot. Though it only rebooted around 75% of the way, i have tried taking the battery out and trying again but it doesnt seem to be working . Sometimes when I reboot my Atrix, I notice that sometimes one or two apps dont fully load. I normally reboot the phone once or twice and then they start fully. These are on my desktop. Is there a way to stop them and then restart them without fully rebooting the phone? and why does this happen? this is the only problem I have ever noticed on my Atrix and this is one of the best phones i have ever had. MB860 and is has 16 gb sdcard. Is there a way to stop them and then restart them without fully rebooting the phone?

I purchased BB Torch 9860 before two days and I already have plan for the data package (200 mb). I connected it to my WiFi at home and it shows that it's connected. Now when I'm at home and I want to surf the internet, it's using the carrier data package, but I want it to use the WiFi. I searched all over and I can't find any solution. any help? Notes: On the home screen, I can see my carrier name (Etisalat) and my WiFi network name. When I go to "Manage Connections", it shows that I'm connected to the WiFi network; but I've never seen the WiFi signal icon in blue or green or any color than grey (which means the BB is not using the WiFi at all) I want to set the default internet access as WiFi. but How ?! Some people told me that it will switch automatically between WiFi and data package, but as far as I see, it's not switching at all. I got my 9860 last week. Everything seems OK except occasionally the phone just stalls for a second or two before I can regain my control. When I checked my phone's memory from Options page, I was surprised to get the following information. I then validated the information with an app called "BeInfo Lite". This is very different from the 9860 specification where I should have 768MB RAM and 4GB storage memory. Phone Options->Device->Storage: Application Storage - Free Space: 150.3MB Built-in Media Storage: Total 2.5 GB, Free 2.2 GB The app "BeInfo Lite" shows the following: Flash Memory (RAM): Total: 512.93MB, Free: 149.7MB, Used: 363.23MB Storage Memory: Total: 2.58 GB, Free: 2.23 GB, Used: 350.78 MB Is there anything wrong on my phone?
This is a software issue, for sure. I've removed battery, sim, memory, still no power up. New battery in shop fully charged put in, still no power up. Phone call to O2 will replace in the morning.ooking at the boards, theres a common issue out there. Software, not hardware. So I tried following a Blackberry 7 upgrade offered by the Desktop manager, which incidently recognised I had a 9860 - so something is talking! - Unable to reconnect to the device during a multi-stage load operation. is the only result I get as I've followed the Device Software update , Bundle 1645 is being offered but it fails the install .At the start it downloads 497 modules, then startsErasing applications(!!). But fails on the next stage.I also read that connecting the 9860 and pressing ctrl + alt + del would active the phone, all it did (even that was surprising) was let me see a Battery sign on the screen. However interesting that was it soon disappeared.
I bought a BB Torch 9860 in USA, and I live in Argentina, and as I couldn't get 3G on it I was searching and I foun out that I got a wrong 3G bands units. mine is model RDQ71UW with bands 1-4-8, and local mobile provider here, Claro, explained to me that I need the bands 1-2-5-6, that I understand is on model RDP71UW.I also understand that it is not something that could gets re-configured.So I should buy a correct unit and try to sell this one, is that right? Is not possible to get this model in Argentina because we have many limitations to importations. at the States do they sell/use boht models? so, in that case I could get the correct one there, and also offer mine there, correct? What countries or regions uses each of those models?
I bought a BB Torch 9860 a week back. Yesterday night the handset got switched off as the battery had exhausted. In the morning when I was trying to switch it on it was not coming on. I put on charging, there was no indication of charging for some time then it started booting. The booting indicator (the line which indicates that the handset is being booted) went half way and stopped. The system did not respond to switch off button. The battery was removed and put back to restart. Every time it boots to half line and hangs.
