my bold 9700 won't fully load. When i try turning on the phone it loads part way then stops..

So my bold 9700 began to re-boot itself and the bar started to load, reached about three quarters and wont go any further. I tried everything from charging the phone, removing the battery for hours, removing the micro sd card, but it still continues to load to a certain point and sticks. I've tried everything over and over but nothing different happens.
View 5 Replies View Relatedi am planning on unlocking a bold 9700 for use abroad in spain with a vodafone sim card. i understand the unlocking process, but my question is whether or not the phone, which is going to be unlocked from at&t, will have full 3g functionality on vodafone's network in europe. i have heard that phones will work in europe when unlocked, but not necessarily with european 3g if they have previously been locked to at&t.

Though it only rebooted around 75% of the way, i have tried taking the battery out and trying again but it doesnt seem to be working . View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Bold 9700 has suddenly developed a glitch and being a newbie,When holding the Alt or Shift keys, no other keys work i.e. Holding Alt + R does not give 3 as expected . If I press Alt or Shift, release and then press the desired key (for numbers/symbols), then it works fine. This has not been a problem since I got my 9700 in February and holding down Alt/Shift has worked since day 1.
I am running OS v5.0.0.421 I have tried several battery pulls to no effect.I am guessing that I should back up my data, wipe the device and clean install the current OS.
I heard that for some phones its possible to have a green led indicator come on when the phone is finished charging. I was wondering if its possible for my 9700 and if so, how can I do that.

View 9 Replies View Relatedim using a lexar 32gb micro sd class 10 in my 9860 with the latest OS and yes i use quick pull but (as far as i know) its never caused a problem for me but after reading a few threads if i get my phone back on ill delete it and try the old method of rebooting..its only recently that my phone crashed and while using it. it then went into a rebooting mode where it would load 2/3 of the way and then restart again repeatedly. If it did manage to get past that stage the phone would go back to default settings and have a message on screen saying "cannot not access internal memory errors detected" then it would give an option to "repair now" and also a checkbox if i wanted to save lost clusters. i was able after several attempts to get it to reformat using bb desktop manager. (which worked well for a time) but then the message would come up ever so often upon reboot stating "internal memory errors detected " would i like to repair it?. clicking repair would work sometimes but other times it would just send the phone back into the rebooting mode all over again ....which is where im at tonight as it crashed again.... i store all my stuff on my 32gb i put nothing on the 2.5gb onboard, so then why is it giving me this headache?Now it isnt rebooting anymore its just stuck on 2/3 boot until the battery dies

These are on my desktop. Is there a way to stop them and then restart them without fully rebooting the phone? and why does this happen? this is the only problem I have ever noticed on my Atrix and this is one of the best phones i have ever had. -deleted all apps shown in BB App World (Wondering if another app was trying to use Camera)
-removed the battery to reboot multiple times
-Reseated my SD card - I can view SD card through phone for picture/music so it does work
-Re-installed OS6 through Desktop software (Update my device -> View other versions -> Install)
-Rolling back to 5.0.0.xxx
-Chang the camera in tech store.

On my Bold 9700 the camera has worked perfectly since I bought it.Now however it will not load - just hangs with the icon going round and round.Have tried re-boot, complete software update to v. 6 - nothing changes.To me it sounds like a hardware failure (well out of guarantee period sadly) but I'm posting this just in case!!

I cannot completely load very many websites at all. The websites seem to load halfway and then stop. Called at&t, they tested the phone said it was fine and they informed me that the bold didnt have the same capabilites as the storm. Can someone let me know if this is true? If so then returning the phone and getting another storm.

The transfer rate is SO slow and I basically want to fill up the card with music and videos. To put on 10Gb seems like it's gonna take over an hour!! Maybe even two!! Ridiculous!!Would it be possible for me to load up all the music/videos onto the card at my house, then just pop the SD card into his phone with all the media pre-loaded? Or would it not work?
Also, just a side question, but if I fill up the majority of the card (let's say I leave about 1 or 2GB free), would it affect overall general speed of the phone, or is that not affected by the SD capacity?
I followed the instruction to swith blackberry devices but not all of my contacts transferred over. I believe only the contact in the SIM card is available in my new blackberry. Is there anyway to transfer the rest of the contact over?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI got a new BB 9700 Bold yesterday and having problems with setting up the sync for the calendar and the contacts which are on my outlook. My hotmail email accounts are working okay. The outlook is on my PC and is the front face for my hotmail accounts.
When I go in to the BB Desktop device manager - version 5.0.1 (latest version) , I go in to the configure option on the left and it lets me click on calendar> then I select outlook and it then lets me select 'finish'. However at this stage an error box flashes up saying 'no available message stores'.
In addition when I check the wifi config on the calendar and contacts icons on the BB device it will not let me select yes on the wireless connection for them.
I have a BB Bold 2 (9700). The Media Card slot wont lock down the card and keeps springing it out. If i keep the card pressed down it works but wont lock down.

If my desktop gets an email first then the same email will be delivered to my Blackberry. I was happily deleting emails from my Blackberry thinking I would have them all on my desktop but I now find I have to check what emails I have on each before I delete anything. Is this an issue that anyone has come acrosss before and how do I resolve it apart from synching the Blackberry and desktop?I'm often away from the desktop which is why I bought the Blackberry in the first place.

I checked the other suggestion re. clearing the cache and changing the default browser, these did not help.I installed the Blackberry Messenger update a few weeks ago, and web browsing worked fine after this, so I dont believe this is the cause.

When i log in to Gtalk, it does not load properly ie, it does not show all my friends list and also does not show all people who are online (for example, if i log in to gtalk from my computer it would show 15 ppl online but immediately if i check by logging in to Gtalk through my BB it would hardly show some where around 3 or 4 ppl online) I have tried deleting Gtalk and reinstalling it but the same issue persists.
