BB Torch :: BBMessenger App Missing
Apr 30, 2011I noticed earlier this week that my BB Messenger App Icon has gone missing, I saw I had a message come to me and went to answer it but couldn't get to read it until I went to Switch Application mode where I saw it but it's not fully highlighted. I found that I could get my messages this way.Why would this happen.I proceeded to uninstall the app and reinstall it after going right through the review page in BB App World, when completed I tried again to find it and move it to my home page folder but still can't see it anywhere; what should I do now?

Jan 11, 2012After an java error on the device and reload the OS on it, the only problem is that I'm missing docs to go on device 9810 after reloading OS from Rogers. The device version currently install is 7.0.0.254. The premium activation key that I had purchased on the past for the 9800 does not install on the new device 9810.

May 23, 2011Just completed the latest Torch OS update and BBM update - everything works except that my BBM Group has diappeared. When I tried to scan myself back into the group I was told I am already a member but it doesnt show on BBM. Done the battery pull trick - no good. Not sure what to do next.

I was using App World, Facebook, and Twitter normally without any problem, I got notifications for upgrading these applications, then all icons has been disappeared, while at application management they are installed. I follow all similar issues, uninstalled then cleared the cash, reinstall, downgrading the versions for appworld. Finally I wiped the phone and downloading the App world, I faced the same issue. the phone became useless, by the way I'm using these services through WiFi. It is worth mentioning that all other applications are working fine, such us, Whatsapp, browser, etc.
BB Torch :: My Apps Are Missing
Jun 5, 2012I performed a security wipe on my phone and when I went back to download the apps I purchased they were not showing in the un-installed list on BB app world. When I try to download them again it wants me to purchase them again. Anyone know how I can redownload them without paying a second time?

May 29, 2011Updated my Bold 9790 to OS 7.1 yesterday through DTM. The Amazon MP3 Music Store App, which was a pre-installed App on the device when purchased is missing. I have locked everywhere on my device as well as DTM and its not there. However in files, file folders, device, home, user, I scroll down to the bottom and there is some kind of folder, with a music sign at the side for Amazom mp3 music store.. 0KB, When I select it, it takes me to the media player and shows an error message on the screen.

Sep 3, 2010Noticed yesterday in my Favorites screen that many icons were no longer there. My browser for example. So I went to my "All" screen and highlighted my browser and pressed  and clicked "unmark as favorite". Then I clicked  again and chose "Mark as favorite". That put my browser back into my favorites list. But now its gone again today, along with all the others I had to unmark and then re-mark. Anyone else had this happen?

I installed it, still not found, I tried HIDDEN options, tried RE-BOOTINGI found a page where there were 4 causes and 4 resolutions given. The first 3 i tried and no use. This is a very serious situation because I need to refer back to my calendar and look at past appointments. I checked my sync settings and I have it set that my phone overrides my Outlook calendar and on my phone I have it set to save appointments forever.

Dec 17, 2011I just had an OS update to the phone today (12/17/11) And as usual I had to resetup everything on the phone. Well I setup three email accounts, one of which is gmail (my main one). It is the only one of the three that did not create an icon when I confirmed it was setup. It only shows up messages in the main messaging icon for all email accounts.I have hard restarted the phone, I have uninstalled and reinstalled all the emails again, nothing changes.

Jul 4, 2011I recently upgraded to Blackberry Torch and at first everything was fine with my emails, but I recently upgraded also my version of AOL, and not sure if it's connected, but now all my emails come though with text missing, it's really random, usually a few words from each paragraph, sometimes whole paragraphs, I go to SEE IN PLAIN TEXT and sometimes this reveals some more, often most of what is missing, but then missing what's in HTML, I've tried clearing the check box for allowing HTML emails, and it makes no difference one way or the other.

Nov 22, 2012I back-up my blackberry through desktop manager about once every two weeks. Yesterday, my phone crashed and gave me an error message, forcing me to update my software and wiping the phone in the process. It did this once before as well. When I went to go restore my blackberry after the update, the last backup file I could find was from May. I backed it up two days ago. I've backed it up a ton of times since last May. This doesn't make any sense.I've lost all my contacts, all my messages, everything that I gained in the last six months.Does anyone know where the files could be, or why Desktop Manager might have messed up like this and not actually been making backups when it said it was? I restored with the May backup and tried backing it up, and of course now it works and the file is in the Blackberry Backups folder. I've searched for .bbb files on my computer and found nothing beyond what's in the folder.

Jul 30, 2012I tried to update to Android 4.0 via the Sony Ericsson Bridge for Mac. The software prompted me to change the settings to MTP, after I changed, my Mac couldn't detect the phone. After I disconnected the phone, I found that many of my Apps went missing. Went to Google Play store to reinstall the apps, only to get the message "App cannot be installed in default location". My phone memory storage has been really low lately, about 30Mb left, and I haven't installed any new apps. I have moved most of the apps to my SD card, not sure what has happened.
