I just upgraded from the Torch 9800 to the Torch 9860. Most of the apps that I paid for no longer work. Is there a patch that will let the OS6 apps work with OS7? I spent too much money for none of these to no longer work.

I'm having problem with my BB 9860. It appears that my phone is connected to Wifi but when I tried to use the Browser and other apps, it's says "Unable to Connect on the Internet".

I have also tried login in from my laptop and it works.However, when I try to log in using my BB Id and password from my phone it is giving an error message 'The user name and password provided do not correspond to a valid blackberry ID'.

Recently I bought a new blackberry torch 9860 and I face a serious problem. All social apps like facebook, viber, watsup, and App world losing wireless connection while device is connected to wireless network and just internet browser is working and has connection. When iIpull out the battery and but it again these apps work for while then losing connection again.

No it's not rooted or anything like that.Now for some unknown reason the Home button has only one function: return to home screen. If I double-click it, nothing happens. No "recent apps" screen. If I hold it, nothing happens either. No app menu opens. The key doesn't even vibrate anymore, I think it used to?
The reason I know the key works at all is that it does actually get me to the home screen if I just "click" it I have tried clearing the cache (in the recovery menu), no difference. I have turned on/off all possible settings, no difference. I even booted into safe mode, no difference.

this morning i installed the latest desktop software which then installed the the latest os on my torch. it also installed twitter, facebook, myspace Internet, snap, three different im apps, and i don't know what all, without my permission. how do i prevent this?

Clicking on the icon bring me sometimes to the choice for personnal email or enterprise and when I click on personal, I come back to the menu. Sometimes I canot even go to thi screen and I stay at the menu level.
I have my emails set up correctly for the blackberry web site, and I sent the service book to my mobile. I get emails working correctly.
I am having Torch 9800 and have recently upgraded my OS to Bundle 3049. Now when I am using my camera to click pictures , at times some of the pictures have vertical black lines evenly spaced through the pic , thats what i can see on the display.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have had a blackberry torch for a while now which i had bought in the uk, i have been living in spain since september and have been using the wifi in my house here to bbm and use all the apps etc. I recently went back to the uk to visit and came back to spain yesterday and connected to my wifi... however my bbm, email, fb, and all other apps are not working, however i can connect to the browser! I have tried various things to make it work again, for eg, pulling the battery out, taking sim in and out, making sure the data service is on! The wi fi is definitely connected as the signal bar in the right hand corner is white! Does anybody know how to make it work again, it has always worked completely fine!

I have re-installed the apps and even re-installed the OS to no avail.Online forums show many others with this issue but the only advice is upgrade to OS 7 which is not an option for the 9800 I own (a bit over a year old) some suggestion the app registry is full but no idea how to fix this.

My problem is my phone shows full signal strength and I can't receive not make calls nor messages. I tried to call the service provider for any network problems and they said no problems at all.
