When I try to add pictures using the media mgr. software I get a message that says the picture can not be transferred to my Blackberry. Any suggestions
View 3 RepliesI have a blackberry 8520. I started having a problem with my memory card recently. When I connect my phone to my computer I can transfer music and pictures to my memory card. But once I disconnect it, I can't get anything i.e. the music folder is empty as well as the picture folder&video folder. I've formatted my memory card, and redid the process and still its the same problem. Taken my phone apart still the same problem. And I've checked and in my settings it says my memory card is inserted even shows how much space I have left etc. I can't even store any pics I take or see them on my phone I can't even rename them cause it tells me that operation isn't allowed on a read only file. I've checked my settings and its setting is everything must be saved to my memory card even changed the amount or size of pics. Even changed the type of pictures that can be taken from super fine to normal.
View 1 Replies View RelatedJust got my 9700 a few weeks ago. The screen is fantastic, the pictures & photos that I transferred to my SD card are shown on the screen with razor sharpness. At least for a while. Then I noticed that when I viewed the photos again from Media -> Pictures, the photos becomes less sharp and appear heavily compressed. This is for both the thumbnail view and the fullscreen sroll view. Does anyone noticed this?
But when I click on Fit to Screen or View Actual Size, the photos become razor sharp again. How do I get the photos to appear razor sharp in the fullscreen scroll view (where I can scroll left and right for next/previous photo)?
If there are no solution to the above, is there any 3rd party app that will allow us to view the photos in fullscreen (and can be scrolled left or right) in full razor sharpness?
I am able to transfer media files (mp3) to the phone with my Ubuntu 12.04 with no problem at all. However, the phone does not recognize files when I go to Nokia Music application. Software says that all the Music "folders" (Albums, Genres etc.) are empty. I have tried putting the mp3 files in all possible folders ( music, documents etc) on phone, but no luck. I have also tried several different mp3 files.

I can view the pics in the gallery. I cannot open them in a viewer once copied or emailed to laptop. The error message says its not a jpg file. I attached an image right from the phone. It seems that when i send the pic via bluetooth, it will open........

Hi there, new blackberry user. I have taken a few pictures with my Bold 9700 and the have shown up in media/pictures/all pictures. Not sure what happened, but now when I take pictures, I can only view them if I explore and go to the pictures folder. How can I go back to viewing all pictures? Any help for a rookie?

EXCEPT NO PICTURES, VOICENOTES, VIDEO, etc. on the new phone. Now however it says 'Insert Media Card'. I DID have a media card in the original phone, I thnk (at least the BBDesktop Manager detected one). But where/what/how sihould I handle this?

I can get all the pictures off of the camera pictures but NOT the picture library. I have removed my SD card and tried that way and I have tried searching the device and nothing ever shows up! I do not understand. I am fairly computer literate but this has me stumped. I have even opened my windows manager and manually tried to enter the BB to find and search for the pictures and nothing comes up.
