BB Storm2 9550/9520 :: Clicking Sound When Typing
Jul 20, 2010Does anyone get annoyed with the clicking sound when typing?Personally, I don't mind the idea of having to push the screen in to type and select things. However, I'm not so happy with the sound that it makes when i am typing. (click click click click click click........)Its really very annoying when in a meeting or something and I want to respond to an email/bbm about the meeting and it makes the clicking noise. Somehow it seems louder than any of the other bb devices out there.
Personally, i'm really hoping that the Storm3 or even Storm4 has more of the iphone screen in which you just touch the screen to type, etc.

Apr 12, 2010Recently my Storm2 has been clicking alot louder than its supposed to. Sometimes it will click normal, others it will click like 5 times as loud. It sounds like something under the screen might be loose. The clicking almost has a squeak to it. Anyone else have an issue like this? It doesn't happen all the time. It comes in bursts maybe a few times a day and lasts for awhile each time before going back to normal click. Its starting to get really irritating.

Mar 4, 2010So just today for some reason on the right side of my screen about 3/4 of the way down (basically the backspace button) it started clicking multiple times when I only want once. It feels like its clicking 3 or 4 times and it has never done this before. I'm running .451 and have been for a week or two now. Just wondering if anyone has had this problem and could possibly know what is causing it.

Feb 23, 2010Camera works fine, when in landscape mode and using camera key to take picture with auto focus and all. Tried it today in portriat mode, didnt used the side key because its easier to use the center touch screen key. Held it for a minute or two camera seem to do the auto focus, then all of a sudden the phones screen goes blank and you cant even see what you want to take a picture of anymore.Is that normal or is it not made to do auto focus with touch screen push in portriat or what?

Back 100 years ago, on my 9530 running... .75 maybe, when I would take a portrait picture, it would be right if I transferred it to my pc or sent it as mms... Why is it sideways now?And Yes (before you say it) Im waiting for the camera to orientate after coming out of landscape, the little touch screen button to take the pic is at the bottom as well as zoom, flash, etc.In the phone the picture is right,
BB Storm2 9550/9520 :: Contact Picture ID
Jan 3, 2010I have pix saved on my S2.I save the pix to one of my contacts.I have followed the instructions to the letter (per the Help app).I close the Contacts app, go back in and the pix is gone from the contact I saved it to. Went to a VZW store and the rep said that it might be due to the "Global" network setting. He changed it to the VZW network only.This has fixed it for the most part but I still have pix disappearing from time to time.I have to end up going back in and re-saving them.The VZW rep also said it might be a known issue and to call Cust Serv or a software problem with MY S2.Anyone heard of this problem or of a fix? I would appreciate any input.

Because it doesnt play what I select. A lot of the times, when I make a call or receive a call after like 10 seconds or so, theres no sound and call fails...Is my phone refurbished or this something that happens commonly with the storm 2? Sometimes I receive calls and make calls just fine, but it does this pretty often.

Jun 10, 2010recently my alarm has been acting up. i just did a restore the other day to see if it would fix the problem and it happened again this morning. the alarm tune is set on the antelope. no matter what profile i am using ( vibrate, silent or loud) sometimes it plays this very soft 3 short tone tune. i went into the tune file to see what the name of it is...but there is no tune that sounds like this, trying to recreate this problem will just sound off the antelope tune, my phone is always plugged in when this happens. *also im running TELUS .320, before i was using Verizon .607 and i thought that was the reason*

1.What i am still unsure of is which phone is better suited to Canadian phone companies neither will get 3g coverage but will one work better than the other like will they both get 2.5g coverage?

Jan 21, 2010I've been thinking of getting a Blackberry for quite some time now and decided to get the storm2 due to it's larger screen.I m located in Canada and using Fido (or Rogers). So I could get either one right? But why do I hear some rumors that 9550 is not so good on GSM as the 9520? Should I get 9550 or 9520? I wont be using the CDMA at all, but it seems that I could get 9550 a lot easier than 9520 in Canada.
