I have not being able to use some app like whatsapp, viber, foursquare..my Firewall keeps blocking these apps from running. It tells me java.io.IOExcetion:no working transports.

I have a storm 9530. I had a contact list and a backup restore setting I accidently set my phone to on my pc through DM. I was wondering if there is any way to reverse this or possibly find contacts I had saved before I did the restoer. I did not back it up before I updated my contacts. I thought it would just add the contacts I had with the ones I added from my comp but it erased the ones I had and replaced them with the settings I had saved on my pc. If this is possible let me know..

I backed up the old phone and restored it backup on the new one, but all my third party apps are gone (Telus told me that they should transfer, but I was skeptical). Is there anyway to get these back without having to re-download them all? There's two or three that I actually paid for... it would suck to have to re-buy them!
I'm looking at BlackBerry Desktop Manager, and there's an option to import 3rd party apps from the old phone to the new one, but you need to have both phones at the same time I think. Not too handy!
I recently bought Storm 2 from M1 Singapore and it was pre loaded with few premium games (can remember Tetris). Anyway after I attached the device to desktop manager it went for auto OS update and while doing the phone hanged and became unusable.I followed some forum here and managed to make it working back by downloading the default device software by M1 site installing it on my desktop and then use Loader to restore things back.
Surprisingly the phone was working fine but all my premium games were lost. I approached to M1 and they reloaded the same OS again but it was same as the one on web and my premium games were lost.
I called the hotline support and it was even more funny that after talking so long they followed up next day with some freeware site link and asking me to download it from there. It does not exist.Is there anyone here from Singapore who can list the name of games and apps which comes preloaded on their Storm 2 from M1. Can I get the OTA link?

I updated to OS 5.1.1 but now App Store only brings up very old Apple ID when trying to update. I have changed ID/Password on the support page and can access my account through iTunes and even through Settings>Store>Apple ID. I have signed out/in, restarted phone and everything works fine EXCEPT whenever I try to update apps through App Store it brings up an apple ID I haven't used in years and is not even recognized on the support/reset pages.

At first I thought it was due to low battery, but it does it at full charges as well. It does it more specifically with apps that use a lot of memory (or refreshing of information online), such as maps, weather, facebook, etc. Should I revert to an earlier iOS?

E.g. there are higher versions to Google Play Store and Google Play Services to which I currently have (Marshmallow 6.0 MRA58N). Am I safe to assume that installing these more recent versions will be of benefit? I also assume it's likely these apps will be updated with the next release of Marshmallow. Lastly would installing these more recent Google apps interfere with future OTA updates?

I click YES, and followed all the update steps until finish (even I restart my laptop to be safe), then when I wanted to use the Application Loader, it tells me again that it needs to be updated !!! on and on and on ... until I gave up.

I just updated to the OS on my Blackberry Storm 2 and I seem to have lost the "lock" icon on my home screen. What the heck!!!
