i have the storm 2 9520.Has been fine untill a couple of days ago.Now i have no wifi even though it says i am connected but there is no tick.I have done a soft reset and full battery pull more then once and even wiped the phone but i still have no wifi.Even tried a different supplier but that is doing same thing.Wifi is greyed out
I am now lost i have no idea what to do or how this can just happen.
I have a blackberry Curve 9300 running v5.0.0.846. The Wi-fi is always greyed out for open Wifi connections at airports, hotels, etc. I did manage to get it to turn white once but that was for a WEP-protected connection where I connected manually. Are there some settings that are incorrect? (e.g. the APN username and password is blank in TCP/IP menu).

hi all. just today my girlfriends 3g somehow greyed out the wifi in the settings. i have tried reseting all the network settings and such but ive only got it to work once and once the phone was reset the wifi was greyed out again. the phone is jailbroken on 3.1.2 and unlocked with blackra1n on tmobile. but yeah on sbsettings for some reason the wifi is on and when i turn it off and reset the phone it turns on again but in settings the wifi is still greyed out and it says no wifi. any advice would be awesome. i have been googling it all day and trying to look all over the forums but no luck. every time everyone says just reset network settings and such but thats not the case.

And when I go to settings the WiFi tab is greyed out, saying "No Wi-Fi", I can't even click on it. Just called the store i bought it in. Estimated another 2 weeks easy. So that would almost 2 months for a phone i had for 2 days. No refunds, no replacement. Best smarthphone in the world, worst support ever!

The WiFi symbol has stayed greyed out even though it says it has connected to my WiFi, home network. It is similar to what happened during the outage that happened.I have reinstalled the software (OS 5) O2 won't allow upgrade to OS6.
