The WiFi symbol has stayed greyed out even though it says it has connected to my WiFi, home network. It is similar to what happened during the outage that happened.I have reinstalled the software (OS 5) O2 won't allow upgrade to OS6. I have deleted the WiFi connection and re installed, but still it won't go white and it is affecting my mobile data usage as my phone is using the network signal for internet rather than WiFi.

I have started using my wifes old Pearl 9105 for my work provided SIM. I can make and receive calls and texts ok. However when I try to connect to WIFI I get " Failed to associate with the network". The router is seen and the profile saved. The router does not have MAC filtering enabled. The router sees the device and shows the correct MAC. The WiFi connection shows as on but has a white dash next to it and not a green tick. I have tried powering down the router and removing the device battery with no success. The device also shows the 3G or EDGE symbol, but does not connect to the APP store or the internet.

I have searched everywhere on how to access the Help Me! screen but haven't had any luck..Does anyne know how to access the Help Me! screen on the Pearl 9105? Or is there another way to change the UMA settings? Also, if I am unable to access the Help Me! screen, when Orange release an OS for the 9105 would there be any issue's installing it on my phone? would I be right in thinking it would have the UMA settings and will work?

When i press a key, it acts like it's pressed 2x times.Say for example i'd want to dial "12345", the screen's going to show "1122334455".Or when I am texting and I want to type the letter "A", I would press the key ONCE but it would give me a "B" instead.

Device is a BB Pearl 9105 running OS 5.0 bundle 1476 GPS is working with other applications (Google Maps, GPS Tools,....)
Had my pearl now for a couple of weeks and am very happy with it, but I now have a small problem with it..
When I try and click on my browser, nothing! You can click as much as you like nothing.. It's almost if its frozen. The only way to get it to work is take the battery out, but this is getting a little boring now.
Ps everything else works just fine, you can click on anything first time and it will come up.
It seems the Blackberry official have release the OS6. just installed it on my Pearl 9105 from blackberry.com! But GPS seem does not function properly.

Howeva when I unplugged the fone I noticed all my music videos and pics were gone but the space was still being used up, so upon investigation I noticed that all my lost stuf was in the blackberry folder in sub folderz,bt that blackberry folder is hidden n can't b unhidden, I tryed 2 unhide it with the pc and with the fone but it doesn't allow me to, and because of da folder being hidden the stuff can't be accesd by my media.
View 4 Replies View RelatedPhone was working fine and then a couple of days ago I tried making a call and couldn't hear any dialling tone or when the person answered I couldn't hear them. I can hear them if I turn on the speaker. I cannot hear either if I get a call though the phone rings fine.
I've updated the software and a battery pull but no use. Starting to lose patience now.
My Pearl is completely dead, it was on charge the other day and hasnt charged i cant even get it switched on or anything. Ive tried using someone elses battery in mine but still nothing.

I tried to do all this with internet and Ethernet cable unplugged, no change.

I tried the basic troubleshooting like pulling out the battery and wait for 2 minutes for several times but still not working. View 3 Replies View RelatedOn Wednesday this week, it was pouring with rain and my jeans got soaked right through and the BB 9105 was in front jean pocket. Later that day, the select function of the trackpad (ie pressing down to select something) stopped working. I assumed it was water damage as devices these days are sensitive to anything. The timing of it all made sense. I waited until Saturday (today) and there was no change.I am a student, so buying an old replacement phone wasnt an option, I need that phone so I went to a high street phone repair shop who put a new trackpad in I think, or tightened it up (I dont know exactly). I thought this would be the end of my problems. This cost £25 to get fixed. Bottom line is, it was fixed, the trackpad worked perfectly. I asked the guy at the shop what was wrong with it, he didnt know, so I asked if he thought it was water damage and he said he found no sign of it but said it can be difficult to see. So, about 3 hours ago I upgraded to the V6 of the software. As of 15 minutes ago, the same problem has started with the trackpad. The shop is closed tomorrow where I got the phone fixed and from Mon-Fri I work rubbish hours for my summer job (I get up at 6am and am home at 7pm) meaning I can't visit the shop nor can I get anyone else I know to until next Saturday. I can barely afford to pay another £25 for the problem to get re-fixed and am guessing the warranty has been invalidated because of it being tampered with to get fixed.I just don't know what to do next, I've tried posting on other forms with BB sections but have had no responses yet.
