The light on the back button and the end call button doesn't go off even after it is locked! The call button and the menu key buttons work fine. is draining the battery of my phone!
View 1 RepliesI have a E52 and he lights al day up,the 2 volume buttons on the side of the phone,the 2 selection buttons and the 2 phone buttons(red&green),and the screen is on you see the light on the side of the screen,he is stil black but you can see he is turned on).The phone is working normal and down everything you ask,but the batteries is empty after 3 day's because the light is always on.
There is no message or missed call,so i don't see what the problem is.When you push a button the phone gets complete out and after a few minutes the light is there.
Any app that will flash the blue/white LED lights where the home button are for the Xperia x10? Thinking prefer to see these little lights flash when a new voicemail/message etc., pop up. Would be far better than the crappy green flashing blip on top right of the phone.

I find this annoying because:It would definately cause my battery to drainI don't really need to see the buttons lit alwaysI'm sure this is part of the latest software release for Nokia Lumia 900 is SW 2175.2301.8779.12223 because I restored to previous firmware and this issue wasn't present.

Also the Led light keeps on flashing red continuously. Iam in South Africa and received the phone as a present which was bought from Verizon. Would appreciate if there is a solution before i send it away for repairs.

I have pulled the battery repeatedly, and wiped the phone, all of which make it work just fine for an hour or so before the problem returns. Customer service insists the problem is related to the data in my phone (?) which is ridiculous. They keep encouraging me to upgrade, but I've not had the phone for a year
View 4 Replies View RelatedAbout 3-4 weeks ago...my screen starting acting strange. When I would hover a button (not clicking it...but to make it blue)...other buttons would become blue as well. Or the button I was hovering wouldn't turn blue and another would. When I would actually click the button...say for messages...the browser would start instead. Also...sometimes I would have the browser or gmail app open and after I clicked the BB button to bring up the menu...it would be completely frozen. It's like this periodically...but always occurs after a call...and the phone won't work for a good 1-2 minutes. This became worse and worse. So I finally did a complete reinstall of BB 5.0.0.328. Things were better for a week or so...and then it went downhill again. I haven't dropped my phone or added any new applications in months.
I have Verizon warranty...but if I go in there I have a feeling they are going to tell me that its a software issue and not hardware. I really don't know what it is...I just want the phone to work again.
Since the early days appeared the notorious problem of red and green buttons that you "lock" and you can not call or close calls. Problem afflicting the Storm 2 in the world. Sent to help with a few days of life, is lying there for three weeks along with many other Storm 2 "pending rules from theBlackberry." In short, no they have not even touched and expect the Bleckberry tell them what to do. Needless to say that with the gentlemen of the Blackberry is impossible to talk!

I called Verizon Tech Support and they just ended up giving me a brand new Storm 2 for free! All I had to do was re-sign my contract for another two years. Gonna miss my Storm 1 but the Storm 2 is sweet! Just got it today. Anyone wanting to upgrade, try using that excuse.

I would suggest a better use of the breathing lights on the 5800 (and I guess any touch screen device). When the battery is low, all you get is a very fast light up of the display, so if you're not looking you would not know that the battery is getting low. Couldn't the red (hang up) light be used for this purpose? When the battery gets low, it slowly pulses. It would drain the battery less than lighting up the whole screen, and you would know without unlocking the phone.

Is there a way to have it off while charging while not turning it off completely and having to click the side button every time a notification pops up? The translucent white track ball on the bottom blinks slowly about every 10 seconds when you have a new email or message. The top tiny LED to the right of the ear piece glows steady green when fully charged and steady red when charging. I recall it blinking green at one point but for the life of me, I can't figure out how to make it do this or what that would mean.Do any of you have any info. about either the [phantom] blinking green LED or any other status light issues?

Normally, they are supposed to turn off automatically, when you lock the screen.I tried resetting the phone to Factory Settings, which failed solving the issue. I though of re-installing the phone software. During the re-installation, I see a screen that shows the progress of the installation, with a notice stating "Do not disconnect your phone" & "During installation, your phone restarts & screen goes blank." Well, when the installation progresses, the phone restarts, and the Ovi Updater shows "Lost connection to phone. Reconnect & start again". Everytime I reconnect and start again, the phone restarts in a while & I see the same old "Lost connection to phone" error. It runs like an infinite loop.
