View 1 RepliesI recently dropped my phone on concrete and ever since this happened, my keyboard LEDs have not been lighting up. Is there anything I can do?
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy problem is that the keyboard lights won't illuminate. This makes it very difficult to type messages when there is little or no light.
View 1 Replies View RelatedLast night, I realized that the keyboard lights and the two light between the home botton do not light up. (I am sure they were working when i first got it)I did is to update it for 4.0.2.a.0.42 to 4.0.2.a.0.58, but i am not sure did the lights when out because of the update.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI wonder if the keyboard of the Nokia E6-00 lights up when it is off and charging. This is normal?
View 2 Replies View RelatedAfter GB update the keyboard never lights up. Will this ever be addressed Motorola? It makes the phone almost useless at night.
View 2 Replies View RelatedPhysical keyboard lights are not working when display is fully up. Keyboard lights work only when display is halfway up. Lights go off just a millimeter before when display reach it top position. Can anyone suggest is this a software issue or there is something physically wrong with phone (slider-switch is slightly misplaced or broken)?

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy curve randomly turned itself off the other day. I went to power it back on with no luck. I decided to charge it and was still unable to turn it on. There is a flashing red light, 1 flash followed by 3 flashes.
View 1 Replies View RelatedThe screen isn't working. The lights on the keyboard work and the notification light flashes but nothing is happening on the screen. Tried charging and taking the battery out and putting back in bit hasn't worked. It has been working fine up until now.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Curve 9300 shutdown on Sunday. When I plug it in, all it does is blinks once, the rapidly three more times, but the screen doesnt even light up or anything. It is ivisible to my PC.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've had my Curve for just under 2 years and about a week ago it just stopped working. I was out with some friends when I happened to glance at my phone and noticed that the LED was glowing a solid white color. The LED was white for about 10 seconds then went out. After this the phone would not turn back on and the LED was a solid red color.
I figured my battery must be dead so I put it on the charger when I got home. After charging for hours I tried to turn it back on, with no luck. The LED was still solid red and would remain this way for hours. After some initial research, I decided to try and reload to OS. By this time, the LED light was flashing 4 times, pausing briefly, then flashing 4 times again, over and over.
I followed some of the guides others had posted about reloading the OS user the App Loader application. I got past the step of selecting the components I wanted to installed and clicked Next. The process started to work, but when it got to the "Intializing Phone" step it would return an error saying it could not detect the device. The whole time I was going through this process the USB connect/disconnect sounds were playing over and over again.
I continued to research and found out that the BlackBerry was actually in some kind of constant reboot cycle. That it why the USB sounds were playing repeatedly. I assume this is why the computer could not detect the device long enough to finish the installation process.
So this is basically where I am now. I got pretty frustrated with the whole scenario and left it for a few days. I picked my phone up yesterday and tried to turn it on. Initially there was no sign of life from the LED. I held the power button and the BlackBerry LED began to blink twice then pause, blink twice, pause, etc.
I would realy rather not have to pay another couple of hundred dollars for a phone but I can't go without a phone much longer. I am confident that I can get to the same error I did before, but can not get past that point.
For some reason the lights on my keypad have stopped coming on- I set the backlight options and that only affected the screen.
View 3 Replies View Relatedmy phone didnt work on reboot just flashing red lights. One light then three quick flashes. Also wont connect to PC (have tried two pc's).

View 12 Replies View RelatedI got off work last night and the only part of my phone keyboard that works is the ball; it can scroll, but there is no response when i push it down. Also the rest of the keys do not work either. There was no water damage, smashing, dropping, anything that happened to my phone.

View 8 Replies View RelatedMy Curve 8900 is less than 6 months old, and suddenly the keyboad will not work, so I cannot make/receive calls, and although the trackball works, it will not "click" to unlock it. Seems to be an intermittent fault. As I own the Blackberry (it is not bought through a service provider), I tried to contact Blackberry customer services UK, who seem to be reluctant to deal with consumers. My service provder, O2 were much more helpful. How can I get a replacement/repair under warranty, or fix the problem?
View 9 Replies View RelatedCan you tell me how to turn it on???
View 2 Replies View RelatedI picked up an 8330 secondhand recently and it worked fine for about 3 weeks when quite suddenly the keyboard stopped resonding. I can't even turn on the screen unless I plug the phone into a charger and then unplug it. In this state the trackball will scroll through menus, but pressing it does nothing, and the rest of the keyboard is also unresponsive.
Anyway, I want to wipe it and reinstall the OS to see if maybe that helps. I've backed everythign up through destop software but I don't see any like 'Format device' 'wipe device' type of option.
last night i dropped my phone and the battery popped out. Upon reinstalling the battery and resetting the device, my keyboard started acting strangely, numbers letters i didn't press would appear on the screen. I went on to reset the device again by pulling out the battery. When i turned the device back on, the keyboard was unresponsive, and only the scroll square would work, but without the button function. I've tried blowing out the any dust
View 1 Replies View Related4 of the buttons on my keyboard are not working! all other keys are fine and the phone is in perfect order otherwise but the 4 buttons wont work it is the p the delete the alt and the enter keys on the right of the keyboard?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Blackberry 8520. It has just developed a fault and I have no idea what could have caused it so I am hoping someone here will be able to help. The letter 'A' stopped working. The phone keeps going to sleep when the backlight goes out and won't respond to a single key press. To wake it I have to press and hold down any key. This means when I turn the phone off it won't respond to the 'on' button so I have to do a battery pull in order for the phone to boot up itself. Also when I am in a call and the backlight goes off after 2 minutes it wont allow me to hang up unless I wake the phone by holding down the trackpad. The phone seems to be freezing every minute. I have to hold down a key to get it to respond.I have tried the usual to see if it helps but nothing seems to work. (battery pull when phone switched on, wipe handset and updated software).
View 2 Replies View Relatedi woke up to my blackberry curve 3g not turning on, i plugged it into the charger then unpluged it and the screen was on. The trackpad and the keyboard was not working at all. i have tried taking the back out whilst the phone is on, however this worked once and has not worked since.
View 1 Replies View RelatedAs if they are not connected, i can move the trackpad left to right and up to the volume icon, but can't click, and the keyboard and side keys do nothing I pulled the battery, that didn't work, the bb site says to delete data, well tried to and 3/4 thru desktop software says the phone is disconnected, so i can't delete all the data i clicked restore, still no keys work and no water, the liquid detector is white?
