IPhone :: 4S Extremely Slow After 5.1.1 Update - Screen Not Registering Touch
Jun 7, 2012Since updating to the latest (5.1.1) my phone is barely usable for anything mroe than 'just' a phone and basic texting. Web browsing is terribly slow - regardless of if using data network or wireless connection at home. Apps are slow to respond and often the touch screen doesn't even register being touched or registers the touch incorrectly (wrong position for ex.)

Mar 11, 2010I am a customer of Verizon Wireless in the USA and have recently had a brand new phone sent to me. I live in Canada so I have to manually activate my phone. I have no problems doing the manual activation to allow me to make and receive calls. However, I cannot register my phone to get my data usage set up. After hours of troubleshooting over the phone with Verizon, they've some up with the conclusion that I have to be in the US, and on the Verizon network to register the phone. I have always been on the global data plan. So, basically right now I'm with a smartphone that has zero smartphone capabilities. is another way to get this phone activated.

Jul 27, 2010I just have bought STORM 2 from some guy, and I put my GSM card (with BIS activated and working on my BB CURVE 8900), but I can't register for BIS on my network. Everything is working, like calls, SMS, GPRS, MMS but BIS can't tbe activated.When I try to go on my operator's webpage to register my phone, I get this message:Cannot create account: Your BlackBerry® Internet Service Account is suspended or deactivated. Please contact.your wireless service provider at XXX XXX XXX.What to do? What seems to be a problem? IS this phone blacklisted, or something? Jul 19, 2010When my iPhone 4 (iOS 4.0.1) loads a new page in Safari it randomly sometimes does not register first touch if I try to scroll it. Afterwards everything is fine. Maybe page is still loading and lags somewhere in process.

Aug 3, 2012My storm 2 is broken...The touch screen has suddenly stopped working and everythime I boot the phone I get a white screen with various different errors and codes. Each time errors are different...Im sure the phone is unrepairabl so I need to recover my BBM contacts... I've recovered my phonebook, music, pics, files etc from previous backups but I need my BBM contacts... If I can remote access the phone from my laptop I can do it but I don't know how...

Feb 6, 2011I have a verizon unlocked storm 2 9550. I used with Airtel bb service in India. Recently, because of their 3G I got a BSNL sim with bb service and I am trying to use the same handset on their network. It is not registering with the bb network. I am not able to send and receive text messages too. I can not browse in default browser, but can browse with Bolt. I can not use Appworld either. BSNL people have said that it is properly set up at their end. Is there anything I can do to be on bsnl bb service?

Jul 19, 2011A few weeks ago I bought my first Blackberry - Storm 9500, Grade A on ebay.Last week on holiday I left it in the glove box of the car for a couple of days and the touch screen stopped working. I could scroll and highlight but nothing would open.
Returning from my holiday I looked online and realised there was a reset button behind the battery cover.I pressed this last night and the phone worked perfectly again.
However this morning the phone was back to the same issue and now pressing that button does nothing.This is a full description of the issues;Green button works. Red button works, Return button works. Mebu button works. Handset lock button works.Camera button does not function.Volume up and down buttons do not function.Touch screen will scroll on menu and highlights apps, but upon clicking nothing opens.
So although I can press the gree button to answer a call - I can't make a call because I can't select a contact or numbers to dial.
I have bought a USB lead to see if the phone needs an update or to see if I can reset it but i've never connected a phone to my PC before so I'll have to look at it in the morning with the manual.I have personal data on the phone which I must remove if I end up sending it back - I expected to be able to use all the functions of the phone via my PC.
BB Storm :: Touch Screen Digitizer In 9550?
Dec 22, 2010I have a used BlackBerry Storm2 9550. There is a small issue with the touch screen digitizer, and replacing the digitizer will fix the problem. But the technician said thet, he can't replace the digitizer without replacing the whole LCD screen, as the both LCD screen and digitizer comes as a one unit. But on eBay I saw that some sellers sells the digitizer without the LCD screen.
Is it true? My LCD screen works properly. Can't I replace the touch screen digitizer, without replacing my LCD screen.

Nov 11, 2011Yesterday me Touchscreen stop working. I tried to restart it for 3 or 4 times, but it´s still not working. So I tried to download the software again but it´s still the same. Only the Keys on the sides are working, but not the touchscreen.

Jan 25, 2010Lately the touch screen of my storm has been doing something pretty weird. For the past few weeks, when I try to select something on one side of the screen,it won't respond. Like that side of the screen is dead or something. Then there are times when I try to select something that's on the right, the icon on the opposite side of the screen lights up.Same thing hapens when its in landscape view.And sometimes it doesn't even respond at all. It's most problematic when I try to use the keyboard function. Letters opposite of what I want light up. I've been turning the storm around so that the letter I want to sellect is on the responsive side of the screen, and sometimes I have to tap repeatedly just to get the button I want highlighted.Used to be that it would come and go, but more recently it's been coming more often than it is going.I've already tried a battery pull, but I don't think it worked. And it's been a while since I upgraded it, but only because I lost the software and cord to connect it to the computer.What do I need to do?

Mar 6, 2011I have been around and around with customer service on this- the buttons on lower right hand corner of my phon (including the red button and return button) do not work. I have pulled the battery repeatedly, and wiped the phone, all of which make it work just fine for an hour or so before the problem returns. Customer service insists the problem is related to the data in my phone (?) which is ridiculous. They keep encouraging me to upgrade, but I've not had the phone for a year

Please enlighten me on this.The touch screen of my phone doesn't seem "fix" like other touch screen phone. The feel of touching the BB screen is like pressing a button where it'll "depress" when u press the screen. Is this normal for this phone?

So I lefted the screen with a guitar clip, put a thin lint removing cloth underscreen. Got all the dust out, I was excited phone was looking Good.BUT NOW PHONE DOES NOT RESPOND TO ANY TOUCH AT ALL. Feb 12, 2010I just bought the new Nokia 5233 phone.Whenever the phone is locked and I set a alarm. There is no way i can stop the alaram other than to reset the alarm manually by alarms-> edit.
There will be two touch buttons that apper on the otuch screen. One to stop and other to snooze the alarm. Even If press them, it wont work. The alaram keeps ringing. I even tried clicking on the green button and the menu botton at the bottom. Still no use. I cant even unlock the phone. Only thing i can do is press the red button at the end, which will snooze the alarm. After this, I have to manually change the alarm time.
The same thing happens even with phone calls. I cannot use the touch button that apper on the touch screen. I have to use the green and red button at the bottom.These problem come into picture only if the phone is locked. Otherwise it works fine.

I bought it on eBay and apparently the warranty is non-transferable so that's void. I have it on Boost so I'm guessing going to Sprint is out of the question also.

Since then I replaced my battery and the phone came on with the clock and then the screen showed up. and could not do anything. Then the screen went black. Feb 26, 2010I have had my Storm since it came out. I take great care of it, only update with official revs of the BB OS. I only have a few applications. I turned it on a few days ago and got a white screen that had a JVM error 102. Called VZ tech support and they told me I had a corrupt file in the OS and asked me to unistall and reinstall. I have done this 5 times and still I have a white screen that has reset on it. Even doing a cold boot, nothing changes.

Apr 8, 2011I have a Blackberry Storm 9530 that I bought on eBay. I accidently dropped my metal water bottle on the bottom half of the screen. Immediately there was a tiny crack that appears in the graphics of the screen, but nothing on the surface. Now anytime I try to get the screen to respond all that appears is that little crack. The LED is working, and I'm assuming that the phone is still functioning. I've tried pulling the battery two times now, but the screen isnt responding.
