BB Storm :: 9530 Device Does Not Currently Have A Browser Configuration Service Book Entries
Jan 23, 2012I bought a this blackberry on eBay and IM am trying to connect to browser but it wont let me. It saying your device does not currently have a browser configuration service book entries. It also does not have a wifi internet connection server. Help I have got a CD from blackberry but my computer does not have a CD player.

Feb 1, 2010I recently recieved a replacement Storm from Verizon. My Storm is not accepting the password for my Gmail account, but I know that I am entering it correctly. I called Verizon and after an hour long conversation they couldn't figure out my problem, so I hope I will have better luck with y'all.When I go to Setup-Email Settings
My listed email accounts include my Gmail account, but the text is red and it says "Invalid Account. Please Validate" So I click on it, type my password, and it says "Your xxxx@gmail.com password is invalid. Please try again"If I go to the mobile site or go to gmail on my PC I enter the same password and it works flawlessly. It was working fine on my old Storm. I'm not having any other issues with email or data. I am getting my comcast email that I had no issues setting up. I have tried deleting the gmail account and re-adding it. What could be the issue?On a related note, when I first click "Setup" and then "Email Settings" it wants me to log in to the BIS. It has never prompted me to do that until I got this phone.

Jan 23, 2010I'm having is when I go to send the service books to activate email I keep getting update failed I tried the diagnostic test and manually sending the books. I was wondering if I can replace the verizon email service books with att's books also if that is possible what books will I look for in crackutil any help is appreciated

Feb 24, 2010Everything seems to be working on my bb storm 9530. i have att plan.i cant send or recieve picture messages. i think either the service books are messed up or somethign else is wrong. i get no mms record found. i been reading and cant find a solution. if anyone knows an easy fix i can do from the handheld, great, but i dont want to do somethign dramatic like reinstall the os etc.

Jun 4, 2010I have a storm running on tmobile. I found a fix to always get an EDGE and did it. it worked the first time and was fine for a few months but then it stopped working so I did it again. When I did my phone stopped having any data service. There are no entries in the host routing table..Ive reregistered my device a million times and its not working. Ive been on the phone with tmobile (they are no help) I read all the post about this but nothing has fixed it.

Mar 17, 2010I have the icon sayin that i have an unopened email but when i looked there was nothing that i had not read yet.. i did a battery pull (my first instinct) and then clicked marked all open in the options menu and it is still there there is no red * next to the icon just the envelope with the number 1. i also checked my vmail and deleted all vmails and it is still there please help!

Sep 12, 2010I wish there was an easy way for me to portray the amount of disdain I have for my Storm at this time, however, that won't do me any good!I'm just looking to get some insight to my problem and whether or not it can be resolved! It would be really unfortunate if I had to replace my lump of a phone as I am a college student that just moved away from home and am in the middle of my two-year contract.My phone is still in operating order minus the faulty touchscreen, it still receives messages, emails, and even phone calls. All the side buttons work, in short, the screen is just dead.I did not drop it nor spill any liquids on it and I've performed a plethora of battery pulls. I'm at a loss!Let me describe the events that occurred before (seemingly) death of my touchscreen. I was at a friends house preparing for a 9/11 5k race when I noticed my battery was running low so I left it in a safe place to quietly run out of steam because I had no need to carry a phone during a race. At this point it was still fully functional. After the race, I check my phone to see if it was out of power yet which it was. I get home later that night and charge it only to rudely surprised by an inoperable screen. I cleaned the screen and did a few battery pulls afterwards in hopes it was only a minor problem to no avail.

I was also in a moderate car crash the day prior so perhaps that may have caused some problems? Externally, my phone is in mint condition. I suppose this just hasn't been my week!

Apr 19, 2010Upgraded os last night and somehow i managed to delete all my email addy, i was able to get my yahoo gmail etc back but cannot figure out how to get @vzw.blackberry.net back. I tried resending service books, restoring from 2 previous backups nothing... Anyone have any idea on how i can get it back? i use it for several things.

Sent myself a "test" email from work to my personal email account and i can receive as it went into my "generic" messages folder.

Mar 25, 2011I have recently purchased a storm 9530 unlocked (previously was registered with verizon wireless). I have a blackberry plan from a different service provider. Everything seems to be working fine except the email, where it says the set is not registered. I have registered it by going to advanced options-host routing table and then registered it. I even got a message from my service provider which says that my wireless handset has been registered.
Still I am getting the same message - the set is not registered, go to options - advanced options - host routing table and register. Also the BB app world is not downloading on to the set. The icon is there but when I click it the web browser opens and nothing happens. There's just white screen with blackberry written as in when you open a BB browser.

May 26, 2010My company is a little behind the times and I do not even know the correct terms to search for an answer to my questions within these forums.We are running Microsoft Exchange 2003 and we just set everyone up with a company domain email address (Exchange address?).I would like to be able to connect a smartphone to the server so I can sync my email, calendar, and contacts.I have a Storm 9530 on Verizon, but other employees have other phones. One uses an iPhone, the other is looking at a Droid.Is there a quick and easy way to access Exchange on our phones? Do we have to have a third party app?My wife, who is in no way tech-savvy, was able to easily sync with her work email, calendar, and contacts on her personal iPhone after a simple walk-through phone call with her IT department (They have since somehow disabled this function for non company issued phones. I think just to **** her off.)I would like to be able to send emails from my phone and have them show up on my server. Syncing the calendar and contacts would be an added bonus.Can anyone help me or point me in the right direction? Oh, and by the way, I AM the IT department.

However, I can only send emails to contacts with a saved email address or reply to emails that have come to my inbox. for example, I receive an email from a friend, I can reply just fine. If I type that email in the "To" field, the envelope icon to send the message is grayed out. I resent service books, per another thread, but to no avail.

May 13, 2010This never used to happen, but just started in maybe the past couple of weeks:-when I use gmail to send an email, the sent email it now appears on my device as a sent message(with a check mark).I like this because everynow and then I send myself an email as a reminder of something, except that those dont go through as "unread" to the device, just as "sent".Is there a way to turn off automatic retrieving of "sent mail", and turn on retrieving messages I send to myself as unread received mail?

I read the bb email basics writeup, said you have to do it on your bb browser to set it up first. Went to the at&t page, then it said to do the options-adv options-host routing table-register now. Did this several times, nothing happens, still can't get on the at&t email page.

Oct 5, 2011I received an email on my Blackberry Storm 9530 that stated emails were not being delivered to my email address, and then gave me instructions to "validate my password". I went to my email settings on My Blackberry and put in what I thought was the password, but that failed. I tried a couple of others, but those failed also. Then I went to the Blackberry Internet Service website and reset my password there, but it still did not work. I noticed when I went to "Account Details" on the Blackberry website, the password was only 10 characters long, nothing close to any passwords that I might have used. I have Verizon Wireless, but should maybe mention that my email address has been supported by AT & T U-Verse for the last few years, and one month ago I cancelled U-Verse internet and went with someone else. Apr 25, 2010Ok this is my situation. I have a blackberry curve from tmobile. My sister got a new phone so she gave me her blackberry storm 9350. I went to a cell phone shop around my area and they unlocked the storm so i can use it with my tmobile sim card. I put on the sim card and i thought everything was working perfect but then i found out that i have multiple problem.
The good: I can make calls, i can use the internet.
The bad: when i place a call my sister number appears in the other person phone (not my tmobile number), i cant call my voicemail, cant setup my email, cant receive calls and more problems i still havent discovered lol.
