On my bbm I can`t see any pictures of my contacts, and also when I try and edit my info there is no option for me to add a picture? I have blackberry storm, is it to do with the old model?

View 4 Replies View RelatedBefore updating the Blackberry Storm to Version 5.0 I did a full backup of the device. Since the update I am unable to see any of the contacts in Blackberry Desktop Software on my Mac. I have tried a restore of just the 'Address Book - All' and still I can't see anything even though it states that there are 59 records.
Please tell me I haven't lost them all or whether I am doing something wrong.
I synch my contacts from Outlook through Exchange server. I use contact pictures extensively, but none of my contacts on the RAZR have pictures. On the phone I added a picture to a contact. Later, I added notes to the contact on Outlook, and the picture on the phone disappeared. What's up with the pictures?

I send them in the smallest size possible. I don't have any problems with email, just MMS. I went to Verizon, my carrier and they have no clue.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI work for a large Banking group. The Bank uses Vodafone as their provider (i have a work phone). Last week i needed to change my password which i did. But as luck would have it i made it so complicated i forgot what i changed it to. My IT dept unlocked the devise the following day BUT the MEDIA CARD is asking me for the password to access my pictures. I have no idea what my password (the one i changed to) is and therefore cannot see any of the pictures from my wedding or my kids. DOES ANYONE know how i can access my media card to see my pictures again.

View 1 Replies View RelatedAll of my contacts have been deleted by my phone. I know it sounds nuts. I did not do anything to delete anything that I am aware of. I don't go into those things for fear of doing that. It started last week when my phone was not showing my contact name with the phone number when someone would call me. I went to go and pull up a number today and my entire contact book was empty.
I have already tried the following:
-Battery pull, waited for 15 secs.
-Checked my address book filters-both boxes are unchecked
-completed a restore,still nothing!
touch screen is nice - but my blackberry likes to dial my contacts by itself and one of these days someone is going to hear somthing that I do not want heard!!
It is no a phone to carry in your pants pocket that is for sure - I have bought the hard shell carrying holster for my belt and it still will call by itself - i have been trying to get into the habit of locking it and this still does not prevent it from somehow unlocking itself and phoning my contacts without my permission.
When setting ring tone adjustments through the ring icon or when editing the contacts folder too quickly, the folder disappears from the main screen and is always replaced by the yellow pages app. I have searched all folders and it cannot be located. However, the info can be accessed by telephone or e-mail settings. If I pull the battery and reboot it is restored. Bell told me that it was a hardware issue, but replacing the phone still has the same issue. I have finger mobility issues, so I tried assorted battery pull and restart apps, but either they just don't work on the 9550 or they only work once. Hopefully when OS6 is released this will be remedies, unless any one can suggest one.

When I first set up the phone I set up a work related email (my facebook email is different) then I installed the facebook app and tried to sync my contacts. This failed it said it worked but there was no phone numbers or anything, then I added my facebook email and tried again. this still failed. I'm not sure what to do. the calander and birthday/ notifcations go through but i have no contacts. what should i do?

I was wondering if there is any way to reverse this or possibly find contacts I had saved before I did the restoer. I did not back it up before I updated my contacts. I thought it would just add the contacts I had with the ones I added from my comp but it erased the ones I had and replaced them with the settings I had saved on my pc. If this is possible let me know..
