I am having the same issues as a lot of you where i am unable to use my camera, when I try to open it I get the following error message 'Could not start the camera. Close other apps and try opening the camera again'. I have closed apps, rebooted the phone and all to no avail. I have read through some of the posts but still cant find an answer, is there anyone out there that can help me please?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI use my BB for personal use only. The email account I have registered on the phone is my gmail account. Just today, I noticed I can no longer send (compose new or reply) emails using this account on my phone. I get the following message in the email I attempt to send:
message status message included an invalid address
I can receieve my gmail messages on my phone no problem. My gmail account login information is correct on the phone.
I've tried searching for this problem but what I find always seems to be related to enterprise configurations using an Exchange Server and the fix was for the Exchange server. That doesn't fit my scenario.
I am showing a message icon on my screen, but there are no "new" messages to be found? Any suggestions?

Another service provider, Maxis doesn't have this problem. Please advise or I will have to purchase a new Storm 2 9520 to stay with DiGi.

I even went into Verizon and the tech told me it had nothing to do with the phone but it was actually due to the new OS upgrade. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there any way to fix it? I miss my zoom!!

This is in the sport where you would see if you have voicemail right under day and date.Has anyone seen this? I have had my phone over a month and this is the first time I have seen this.BTW, I checked and there were no voice mails.

I have had my phone since it came out and I love it though I'm upgrading to the bold 9650 come may. I plan on giving the phone to my girlfriend and in the last few days the camera has become inoperative. I've done battery pulls. Remove memory card. Nothing seems to fix it. It starts up and them it shuts off saying it cannot be opened.

View 13 Replies View RelatedI recently ought a BB Storm2 9550 for couple of days it was working well but i got some connection problem so I was told to change the software which i did successfuly but there was still sone problem in browsing the internet. then again I was downloading the software but in between my laptop went into hibernation mode by the time I could recover it. the Device showed error 523 then again i tried to reconnect it but in vain. the Desktop Manager couldnt detect it. and I took the battery out and then tried to restart but it gave error 200.
Now it is not starting nor is getting connected to Desktop manager. I need some experts to help me out here there are not many people who can help me with the device.
Got this the other day while trying to get vzaccess mgr to work...anyway..reloaded .328 with DM and when i booted up i had 49 some mb app...knew that didnt look right so got to looking and noticed that it did not install BBM or BB maps...i download bb messenger w no problem ota...but BB maps i cannot find... is there an OTA link for BB maps?

Plug it in, wait a few hours, and the battery is good to go.Sometimes though, it is plugged in for hours, 16 hours this time, and the power bar is still empty. If I unplug the phone, it shuts off. I mention this to forestall the "make sure it's plugged in, lol" comments. Obviously it's getting some juice, since the phone stays powered up, the battery just isn't charging.One time I had to leave the phone plugged in for three days before it started to charge.Does anyone have any suggestions?

What I mean is if I'm using Slacker and i see something I want to snap a pic at...the camera wont let me.
How can I go about sending bb 9500 phone in to Blackberry for repair as software update (to ver 5.0) has not fixed a number of issues.
- issue 1: camera not functioning
- issue 2: faulty touch screen
The new message indicator on my phone is always showing on my GMail account even when there are no new messages when I unlock my phone. However, if I open the email account (and find no new messages), and then close it to go back to the home screen, magically the icon has disappeared. A fix, right? Except when I relock the phone, the same issue keeps recurring.Battery pulls and restoring the OS does not help.
