Recently tried uploading new blackberry software (suggested by desktop manager) version 5.0 to my Jailbroken Verizon Storm 2, and in the middle of the uploading/upgrading the new software the screen turned white and this message appeared: Device Error: 367. Then below that, the word "Reset" is there but you cannot click it or do anything. The only way to get the screen to go away is to unattach the battery, but once you apply the battery back in, the white screen pops up with the same message. I tried sticking the usb/phone cord back in, but the software does not even recognize the phone anymore.
I have made 3 attempts to update the device software on my Blackberry and every time I get an error message part way through the update then my Blackberry turns itself off and reboots. Error message: A fatal error has occurred while updating your device's software. Please try again. This happens at the same point every time - task 6 of 12 - reconnecting jvm.
I'm looking to remove voice dialing from my storm but can't find a device software download that works. When I tried to get it from verizon's site it would not let me download the mr3 update to my computer.
I recently ought a BB Storm2 9550 for couple of days it was working well but i got some connection problem so I was told to change the software which i did successfuly but there was still sone problem in browsing the internet. then again I was downloading the software but in between my laptop went into hibernation mode by the time I could recover it. the Device showed error 523 then again i tried to reconnect it but in vain. the Desktop Manager couldnt detect it. and I took the battery out and then tried to restart but it gave error 200.
Now it is not starting nor is getting connected to Desktop manager. I need some experts to help me out here there are not many people who can help me with the device.
I have a Blackbery storm 9530 with software version 5.0.0.328 installed. I am using Windows Vista and trying to sync with Outlook 2007. Prior to a recent upgrade of the DM, I was able to sync my Calendar and Contacts. Now I get Blackberry Desktop Synchronization error "Determining the root configuration of main system" and then a Intellisync error follows displaying "Unknown error reported". I am unable to complete the sync.
Error encountered when syncing BBStorm 9530 OS ver 5 to Outlook 2007 and Windows XP PC OS syncing stops with the following message: "Error encountered. Error Code 0x8004fd28. Check Documentation" I went to a forum that said to look at the sync log and see if there is an "ignore" line at the bottom of the log. I checked out the sync log and at the bottom it has the following: "Internal error #-728"
I get the following message when I try to sync my calendar. "Error encountered. Error Code00x8004fceb. Check documentation" I have never had this message before today. I have deleted all new calendar entries since my last sync, with no results.
I have a Bllackberry Storm 9530 and I have problems to turn it on. When I try to turn it on, it appears a white screen with app. erro 523, and reset. When I try to reset, it turns off, and start again from the begining. I didn't try to download anything, only I Coppied from my PC, some cartons short movies, my daughter watched them.
I got a new BB Bold 9780. When I try and go into the App World and then into "My World", I get the following error code: "Device token storage exception ((Error Id: 40670)".
There appears to be no fix for this problem. RIM suggests the issue relates to email2 and/or email3 entry's with no content in the email field for the Outlook Contacts. This has been thoroughly checked and I confirmed this was not the case (also confirmed no East Asian characters). The problem is definitely in the newest version of the Device operating system. When I rolled back to the old operating system, the problem goes away.I can not believe RIM has no contact capability within the Support website for people with problems! Very user unfriendly. They are begging for customers to switch to iPhone.
i'm having problems updating my device i've tried using the desktop mangager way but half way through it pops up with an error message saying ' an error has occured while downloading software for your device, please verify your internet connection or try again later, if this problem persisits' i've tried about 10 times now over a three day period and the same things happens everytime.
i'm currently runnung with 4.7.0.1818 but can update to the 5.0 version. i've also tried updating wirelessly but when i check for updates it pops up and says 'unable to send request for available updates'.
I'm in a catch 22 situation here. My storm will not allow me to set up emails via the setup menu as it is saying my device not registered. It then gives me the options to go thro in order to register.easy so far.I follow the instructions and go to the host routing table, and click on the register option..also easy so far.By the time I've come out of the menu, I have received a message from blackberry saying my blackberry has been registered to a wireless network. Excellent. When I got back to the setup email options, it is telling me that my device is not registered.
I'm using Storm 9500 Latest device software: 5.0.0.841 Battery charger used: The one that came along with purchase: it's original Both the software devices and desktop software are upgraded to the latest. Eventhen the problem does not go away.
I was travelling with a friend who is using Storm 2. We were comparing our devices and founf that at certain area the Storm 2 signal is on 3G with the bb logo but my Bold 9700 signal shows EDGE. But when I change the option at Mobile Network to 3G only, my Bold 9700 is able to lock the signal to 3G, however when I change back Mobile Network to 3G & 2G it goes back o EDGE (not immediately though).
I am currently running OS .680.... Is there a fix to the problem above or it is a known Bold 9700 issue or a known .680 issue. I have not try this with previous OS so not sure if it will acted differently.Any opinion. Am considering downgrading the OS but will wait for feedback first.
I bought a Verizon Blackberry storm 9530, but without the sim card. I was wondering if anyone can help me unlock this phone so i can used it with my t-mobile. I own a t-mobile phone that has a sim card.
I keep getting a message "service not enabled for this device" when I try to log in to my IMs. I have the data plan on my phone and when i went to talk to my service provider they said everything was connected on there side.
I have a Storm 9530. When i sync it to desktop manager it does. When i try to import music it says to Please insert a media card and reconnect to your computer. I have a card in it and have tried 3 different ones. It also will not show any blackberry icons on my Mac desktop. Card show up in Options Memory. Auto enable Mass Storage Mode when Connected is set to NO, is this right?
It seems like to load any app into my BB storm 2 device you need an active internet connection in your device. I don't have internet surfing facility in my mobile. The plan I am in with my carrier allows unlimited mails and chat. Is there any way I could load apps through my PC into my device. Most apps that I tried won't allow this, they need the app link to be clicked from the device rather than from a PC?
Every time that I restart my device (battery pull) I lost my service books, so I always receive the "registration" message and the service books are downloaded over again. This makes that some applications (like facebook or twitter) donīt start automatically because I need to enter again my credentials. I there any way that my device doesnīt erase the service books every time that I reset it? I tried restoring the service books from the desktop manager and setting the SB Legacy Mode without success.Iīm using the OS 5.0.0.1015.
l get this info when l try to access my media folder...."Device Memory notaccessible due to detected errors. Do you wish to repair Device Memory now?".
When I start the Desktop Manager and connect my phone everything works fine. I then try to launch Media Manager and the Device connected (PIN) : Blackberry 9550 (310C647) goes grey and the software says " There is no device connected. Please connect your device in order to view its contents."

I have a BBS 9530 and it has extremely low application device memory. I have removed everything (3rd party applications) and I still only have 7KB of memory available. I believe everything is being saved to my memory card and not my device memory. What steps can I take to increase the amount of application device memory? It looks like my phone is running 5.0.0.0.328.
My Storm fell and the screen cracked and now it only displays a black screen. I am able to get it recognized with the Blackberry Destop Software but in order to fully access the device I need to unlock it, which I can't because the screen is broken. What can I do in order to access the documents that are NOTin the media card?
