BB Software :: Email Messages Are Not Being Delivered?
Nov 30, 2010
i've change my YM password, now email messages are not being delivered to my BB device. I have validate the password in the BB Internet Service on the Home Screen, Setup, Email Setting. But when I do that, there's message that my user account is wrong.
My email was hacked so I set a new password and added security questions. All good there. But email messages are not being delivered to my blackberry until I validate the new password on BlackBerry Internet Service. I cannot seem to access the BlackBerry Internet Service - on my device, under SetUp, Email Accounts, Internet Mail Account it asks for my User name and Password. I cannot find that nor can I find a way to create one - I've tried searching the BlackBerry site as well as my wireless provider (AT&T) site, but to no avail.
- Messages are not delivered (or they are delivered hours later)
- I sometimes don't receive messages (or I receive them hours later)
- I type in blue (so I think it's an iMessage) but then when I send it turns green.
You can't imagine the consequences of this and how it affected my relation with my girlfriend !!I switched it off and I don't care to find a solution (the same with iCloud).
i have the exact problem. I have a 9800 , and my bbm messages are not being delivered, and only stays a tick...i tried the advice mentioned above, and the problem still persists.
My bbm has been acting up lately. It will be working fine, and then all of a sudden it just won't deliver any messages to a particular contact. I can received messages from them, it just won't deliver mine. This has happened to me twice now, to two different contacts, but I've had no problems with any other contacts. I've tried pulling my battery, backing up my phone, and deleting and then re-adding the contacts, but I'm still not having any luck.
i have jailbroken my iphone and i currently don't have a SIM card, according to every website i have set up my iMessage account right but everytime i send a message to someone it says "Not Deliverd". I have an active wireless internet connection and my iphone is connected to the wifi (Tried the DNS), but still doesnt seem to send any messages? Is there a possibility that there's someting wrong with the phone it's self or i might have the wrong things on in the settings?
I am receiving text messages from a friend, but she can't receive mine when they are sent as an imessage. She and I both have iPhones. I've reset my phone, updated my routing with my carrier, to no avail.
This problem started today. All singular imessages are not responding in this way, so far only the group. After researching I have done the following so far and nothing is working.
1. Turn off/on the phone.
2. Checked for updates. (none)
3. Reset the factory settings.
4. Cleared and re-entered icloud name/password.
5. Turned off/on "group messaging", "mms", AND "sms" just to be sure.
6. Made sure "send/receive" has both icloud and cell number.
I just came home from an international trip and am wondering if some settings or restrictions may be limiting the group messages.
My Blackberry is set up to block all incoming SMS messages from unknown senders . Unfortunately when the Blackberry device blocks a text message, it reports to the sender that the message has been delivered to my phone (delivery receipt/mobile ack.) . I think this is a malfunction which blackberry should address in the next version of the software.
I just got a BlackBerry 9780, and I had been using the BBM for only a couple days and it seemed fine. All of a sudden the messages I was sending no longer had a D above the tick mark, and I haven't been able to get one to go through, nor has anyone responded to my messages.
I just got my 1st smart phone: Samsung s6. Yesterday I texted my husband (he has an iphone), i didn't text him. I had ' failed to deliver ' messages. However, i can receive his text. I can't text out.
I'm having an issue where my BBM messages to one contact are being displayed with a ticked D on my device. However my contact is not receiving any of the messages. The contact can however still message me fine and they all come through without a problem. There is sometimes a slight delay on the messages coming through to me but not very often.
I've tried a hard reset by pulling the battery out of my phone while it is switched on. Infact I have tried this several times and it has not produced any results. Any messages i send to my contact always have a ticked D next to them when they have been sent. I have a blackberry Bold 9700.
Issue: BBM Messages are not being delivered or received.I can type out the messages and send, but they are not delivered and I am not receiving any bbm messages. I can send the same message 10-15 times and one may be delivered.Text messages work, and my browser is working, both on data and wireless. Was working fine last night, the issue started today. Have performed both soft and hard reboots, no change.
since a few days I have a strange iMessage problem. When I write an iMessage to someone from my iPhone it shows up as not delivered after a few seconds, but the message does arrive at the recipient. If I look on my iPad the same message looks ok, it shows the delivered/read status perfectly normal. When I switch devices, the problem exists the other way around. I get the not delivered status on my iPad but the same message shows up OK on my iPhone. The problem exists on different WiFis and on the 3G network.I already tried to "reactive" the iMessage service on my iPhone but to no avail.
Just upgraded to .656 and now I don't get confirmation of text messages being delivered. I've set and saved the settings to ON, but its flicking back to OFF.Is anyone else having this issue? I'm going to roll back to my previous OS as it worked fine on there..
Why would SMS messages sent directly from a BB Curve on the Verizon network to my Storm 2 be delivered to my BB Messenger IM client as a Chat immediately, and then a number of minutes later the same SMS (from Curve) is sent to my SMS client (Storm 2).
Just recently I've had 3 text messages that were sent by iMessage that were shown as delivered, but the recipients never received them. I've turned it off for the time being, as I can't risk messages being shown as Delivered, and they're not!
I just got a replacement iPhone 4s and now whenever I iMessage someone, it shows that I sent it from my email and not my cell number. People that save my contact info have just added my email to my info and now it shows up as me, but for those who don't need to know my email, how do I change this to just show it sending from my cell number???
I received an email on my Blackberry Storm 9530 that stated emails were not being delivered to my email address, and then gave me instructions to "validate my password". I went to my email settings on My Blackberry and put in what I thought was the password, but that failed. I tried a couple of others, but those failed also. Then I went to the Blackberry Internet Service website and reset my password there, but it still did not work. I noticed when I went to "Account Details" on the Blackberry website, the password was only 10 characters long, nothing close to any passwords that I might have used. I have Verizon Wireless, but should maybe mention that my email address has been supported by AT & T U-Verse for the last few years, and one month ago I cancelled U-Verse internet and went with someone else. When I delete e-mails on my Blacberry, they do not delete on my computer email
Is it possible for a text message to show "delivered" but actually not be delivered. I sent a text, received the "delivered" notation and the recipient is saying that they did not receive it.
When I send an imessage through my iphone it delivers and the other person receives it, but on my phone it says "Not Delivered". When the other person sends to me, it does the same. Here is what I have done so far:
Reboot the phone Reloaded the firmware Disabled/reenabled imessage. Turned off "Time Zone Support" iMessage works fine on my iPad, doesnt work at all on my Mac.
I am wanting to know is there a way to delete multiple email messages or normal messages for that matter at one time.If i receive like 20 emails, do I really need to delete each one individually? As it's major painful. Even my old dilapidated cell phone could delete mutiple messages at once.
I want to be able to check my email thru the GMail application; get notifications for my Yahoo Messenger, missed calls, voicemails, and SMS Text and MMS messages thru the BlackBerry Messages app; and my Gmail calendar thru the BlackBerry Calendar app.
I can't figure out how to make my email NOT appear in Messages. So, I created a dummy email account that gets no email and set that up as the default email account. Now I get my real email thru the Gmail app, and all the other notifications thru Messages (and no emails in there). Great, but the Calendar app won't work with my Gmail account because it only wants to connect to the dummy gmail account and to Facebook. I don't want Facebook to touch my calendar, and I have set it as such in the Facebook App options, but it still does. Using Google Sync, I managed to get my real calendar to show up in the Calendar as Default. When I run the sync, the appointments I created in the online Gmail calendar appear in the Calendar as being on the Facebook calendar.
From the Calendar, I can not create appointments for my real Gmail account, only for my dummy account and for Facebook. If I delete the appointments from the Facebook calendar, then after syncing it deletes the appointments from my online Gmail calendar. I think what I need to know boils down to "how can I prevent email from appearing in Messages?". If I can figure that out, then I can delete the dummy account and set up the email as my real account and then the calendar should work correctly.
I used a Storm for the last 30 days, and had 3 distinct and separate icons: Messages - catchall for everything Desktop email icon 2nd/personal email icon However, I switched back to the Curve (8530) because of the keyboard, and now I don't have a primary desktop email icon. The only way to view work email is to use the messages icon where everything else goes as well. Is there any way to create or separate the two email accounts so I can view the work email separately?
I've bought new BB Curve 9300 couple of weeks ago and facing some problem regarding my inbox. After configuring my email in the smartphone I am sending and receiving emails are fine but whenever I open an old email address from my PC it receive as new email on the smartphone with new time and date. What is the solution to stop old emails receiving as new ones on the device?Does BB have such synchronizing system that BB automatically sync with the mail server and shows all old emails on the device?
