In the last 4 days I've had delays in receiving mails. It usually takes at 8 minutes for the mail to arrive. Although there are times it arrives faster it's never instantly (or up to 1 minute). I guess it's some sort of problem with my push notifications, I was wandering if it might be a hardware problem or is there anything I can do to fix this issue?
View 1 RepliesOver the past two days, receipt of emails using Gmail has not been instantaneous, or "pushed". This problem occurs intermittently, and at a serious delay of 45 minutes, to an hour.

The track-pad on my BlackBerry Curve 3G 9330 stopped working so Sprint replaced my BlackBerry earlier today and I haven't received an email yet on my new BlackBerry. Email setup brings me to the screen where I, "Move Email Accounts", and after I click it, it says that the device change was successful and prompts me to enter my password. After doing so, it takes me to a screen to synchronize my contacts and when I click that, it says, "Activation failed. An error was encountered when sending the activation transmission." I REALLY don't feel like running down to Sprint again and asking them to configure the email for me. I need my emails.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have recently had to reformat my 8900 and for some reason after setting up my gmail account i an receiving one copy of each email in my gmail folder and also recieving another copy of the same email in my messages folder. this means that i really am recieving 1 in the email folder and 2copies of the same email in the messages folder. i am using BIS and have tried deleting and re-adding the email account and also resending the service books. i tried looking around but couldn't see the same problem which makes me think it's something simple I'm missing. it's nothing to do with sent messages which i have no problems with.

The recipient still has not got my email and I sent it 2 hours ago, I sent myself a test email and I got the same problem. Sent a test to a work emial and it arrived after 5 mins.
Also, my auto retrieve doesnt seem to work very well.
We are in the migration process of email Server, we will migrate all the users (POP 3) to Microsoft Exchange 2010. We had facing a problem for all the Blackberry mobile users, which mentioned that every single email will have to take 20 min to 30 min in order to transmit from Exchange Server 2010 to Blackberry mobile users. This is actually a big issue due to our top management users are blackberry users. We have performed a test, in which the email from the Exchange 2010 will only take 1-2 minutes in order to reach an Android phone or IPhone (using Active Sync).

Having reliability problems with SMS/MMS on 920? I would say right now the failure rate on MMS is roughly 80% and SMS is around 20%. I'm also noticing some seriously delay in some incoming SMS's (up to 20 minutes). It's 2012 and it's Nokia we are talking about... How can they possibly release a phone that struggles with the most basic of mobile phone tasks? I get that Nokia didn't receive WP8 until a few weeks before the device was released, but, I feel like I'm using a phone built with alpha/beta code.

Now, it has started receiving messages days later - most of the messages will arrive shortly after they were sent, but other arrive days later. It has also started notifying me of messages that I already received as new messages, multiple times. I have reset the phone twice, and the problem has persisted.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a Droid Razr XT912. All of a sudden, I'm not receiving any text messages!! Messaging worked fine when I first got the phone (a few weeks ago), then a couple of days ago, there was a huge delay in getting texts (of a few hours to an entire day), and now, no text messages whatsoever (I know for sure that three separate people have texted me a few times and I've gotten nothing!). I dont' think it's a service issue, as I move around quite a lot and the messages haven't ever arrived (plus, I called my provider and they said everything was fine on their end, but I suppose that's what they always say).
Not sure what the problem is. I haven't made any big changes to the phone since when I received text messages without any problem. Calls/e-mails/updates/apps/etc.still working fine, but curiously, my weather widget stopped updating about a week ago, and still refuses to work, even though my coverage is allegedly fine.Ideas? I am having a problem with my emails and messages. Possibly text messages as well, but not sure.Basically, all my emails and messages arrive at once, usually after a long delay. Anyone know how I sort this problem out?I need my emails for work, so it's not very good! On a separate issue, when I use blackberry messenger, often I can not read what I am typing. I just is blank, but i can carry on typing and when I send whatever I have typed appears. My company just migrated over to a hosted gmail and I've added the email address to my BB and have configured the setting to IMAP enabled. I added the additional Lab to make sure the "show in imap" is checked off. However, I'm not receiving any emails. The ironic thing is that I'm able to send emails via my bb but when I reply from the outside address (reply via online), the reply message arrives in my actual inbox but not on my bb.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI've been enjoying my new Galaxy S6 for the past couple days but one thing I've noticed is that I'm not receiving any Gmail push notifications. I only ever notice new emails getting pulled in when I open the Gmail (or Inbox) app, and it executes a refresh now that the app is open. If I'm not using the app or my phone's screen is off -- nothing.
I've tried a number of different things, including making sure Power Saving mode is turned off and ensuring that auto sync is enabled for my Google account. I've also made sure that all the appropriate Gmail labels are set to notify me.
One thing I've noticed, in the process of discovery for my Gmail issues, is that when looking at my Google sync information on my phone, the "last synced at" time is usually very out of date.. sometimes it's a couple hours ago, sometimes it's a day ago. I'm wondering if my phone is for some reason just not polling on a regular, more reasonable interval.
FYI I'm getting push notifications from other apps (including Hangouts) as expected.
I suddenly am not receiving hotmail and gmail email on my Torch. Have I accidentally turned off something? Has BB upgrading altered something?

I receive a number of legitimate business emails through MS Outlook on my laptop, although some may incorrectly come through labelled "bulk" in Outlook (i.e. an email sent from someone I know just to me). These same emails do not come through on my BB. My BB does otherwise receive emails. how to correct so I receive all emails on my BB. I am not on a BES.

There is no pattern to those I receive and those I don't.i have changed no settings on my phone and everything was normal 7-10 days ago. Yahoo initially told me to remove the Yahoo account on my phone, re-boot and then re-load the account. While i travel outside my country of residence, i normally keep the "Data Services" OFF (during roaming), but Wi-Fi ON. While i am able to browse the web in this mode (assumiing i am connected to a Wi-Fi network), i am not able to receive emails. How do i solve this?I would like to continue receiving voice calls, but i want to use data only on Wi-Fi (and not thro the Service Provider's 2G/3G/EDGE/GPRS etc) networks.My friends who use other phones are able to do this, but i am not able to.

I have tried all of the simple fixes suggested on this website including having deleted and then re-added my Yahoo account to no avail. I am able to do everything else with my phone as normal. My MacBook continues to receive e-mails as previously. I have received no error messages.

View 10 Replies View RelatedI have a Blackberry Bold 9700 on the 3 Mobile network. I only have one email account setup, and it is a Gmail account. I use Facebook for Blackberry.So here's my problem - a few days ago I checked my Blackberry Bold 9700 and saw that I had received 28 email messages and 8 Facebook notifications.However none of these emails or Facebook notifications was new. They were all ones I had already received that day.
I deleted them all, and guess what - an hour later and they all came back into my email inbox and Facebook notifications.When I went to sleep that night, I woke up with 136 emails and 26 Facebook notifications - ALL OF THEM THE SAME REPEAT EMAILS OVER AND OVER AGAIN!
I have been on forums and tried removing my battery and SIM card (not very technical, that) as well as resending the Service Books after doing this. Nothing has solved this problem though.I really hope someone can help please as I'm seriously thinking of ditching my BlackBerry and buying an iPhone where this problem doesn't occur.
