Since that I only have one glitch, the media folder is called net_rim_bb_file_explorer.Media I assume that's the internal name, not the display name, anyone knows how to rename it?? I didn't like the theme so i deleted it, and now all of my Media applications are on my home screen and i am unable to move them or do anything with them, i've tried re-booting. Mar 18, 2011I have a pearl9105. The other day for the 1st time I plugged my fne 2da pc via the usb 2 try and download the desktop manager. Howeva when I unplugged the fone I noticed all my music videos and pics were gone but the space was still being used up, so upon investigation I noticed that all my lost stuf was in the blackberry folder in sub folderz,bt that blackberry folder is hidden n can't b unhidden, I tryed 2 unhide it with the pc and with the fone but it doesn't allow me to, and because of da folder being hidden the stuff can't be accesd by my media.

Jul 28, 2010my friend is experiencing severe errors on her bb 9700.
1. She cannot open any Pictures in her Media Folder. She can see the thumb nails but when she tries to open it to view nothing happens. Also when she clicks on the Menu button nothing happens either.
2. She can also play music on her phone but when she clicks the menu button nothing happens as well. therefore she is unable to send or receive music.

4. When She puts on her bb the following error notification is seen: Uncaught exception: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException
Her OS was downgraded to the OS that came with the phone 5.0.0.330 by her Carrier due to some bluetooth issues she was experiencing: that is she was unable to pair. Since the downgrade the issue never arose. We tried to Update her OS yesterday to the latest official release 5.0.0.743 to see if this would help but after we launched apploader it said that they were unable to automatically back up her information and the update was aborted. If there is another way to manually backup the phone can you please let us know?

BB Bold :: Cannot Open Pictures From Media Folder

I can take pictures and do whatever with them right after taking them but when I go into the Media folder and try to open a picture or hit the "menu" button, it doesn't do anything. I've tried rebooting and pulling the battery but it won't open the pictures.

May 8, 2010this problem has been driving me crazy for the past couple of days. For some reason every new picture I take doesn't get displayed in the main Media/All Pictures folder. I checked where they are supposed to be stored and everything is right: Media Card/Blackberry/pictures, but still nothing gets displayed! I know its not a problem with the camera, because I can see these new pix if I press menu biutton on Media/explore/media card/blackberry/pictures - but thats so annoying to look at pix this way!!! This phone is like a month old, and I really dont wanna go through the hassle of replacing it. So does any1 know what I should do to fix this problem?

Feb 28, 2010Ive got my 8100 with a 2gb Media Card. The card works fine with BB. I can take pictures and store and even receive files via Bluetooth. The problem is that when I connect to my PC, it wont recognize as an external storage device. In DM it does recognize the BB showing my PIN. This means cable is not the problem. But the card wont show up in MY PC and doesn't work with Media Sync either.

May 3, 2010Any picture I take save of have already had on my phone won't allow me to view it in the media folder. Even the sample pics won't give me any options. If I push down on the trackpad or hit the blackberry (menu) button it just sits there. Music, vids, ringtones, everything else works fine. Tried reformatting the card and repairing it and nuthing happened. I'm going to download the current OS for at&t and see if that works. I'm on a bold 9700 on at&t running 5.0.0.405. The only thing that I think has happened between the last time I was able to view a picture was I told it to do a wirelees update and the firmware update completed successfully. Anybody have any other ideas?
