View 8 RepliesThe web browser is not working on my Pearl.I am with O2 and have been in the O2 shop for an hour today and on the phone to various people at customer services and still no joy on my Blackberry problem.The internet browser is not working. My e-mail has been set up and i can receive mails only, but not send them. The error code: YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY BROWSER CONFIGURATION SERVICE BOOK ENTRIES, or when I try and send an e-mail, NO MESSAGE SERVICE CONFIGURATION appears, despite re-sending service book codes, plus also turning my phone off, and taking the battery off several times whilst in the O2 shop and then at home when on the phone to customer services.The people at my network are stumped, and so am I!Please, any solutions?

"Can't establish reliable. but when tested my internet using the browser it works fine. actually fast but when using apps the internet is not working
View 1 Replies View RelatedIn the past 24 hours my internet browser is 'unable to connect to the internet', BBM has also ceased to load. It is not my data plan as I have topped up £10 and have my 300 texts and 100mb internet until Jan 27th 2012 until I have to top up again.My wifi says its connected as it is white but clearly does not work. I have not yet contacted Orange but want to try different solution.I have gone to Host Routing Table and 'registered now' but then it says I'm registered with my wireless.Taken the battery out for a while etc...
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have had my BB Storm for approx 18 months now and on and off for the past week or so I have been experiencing some difficulties with different aspects of it. These are:Facebook App - I haven't been getting any notifications come through on my phone and sometimes the newsfeed is a few hours behind. Internet Browser - With the FB app not working I have tried to go to the mobile site which has taken forever to load then comes up "Server Unavailable". I have then tried to go to other websites and have found the same issue.
BB App World - I went to see if there were upgrades available on App World thinking there could be a glitch with the current FB thats available but it comes up " Blackberry App World is having trouble connecting to the Blackberry App World server. Verify your network connections and try again" so I am unable to do anything in app world whatsoever. The top of my phone shows that I have coverage in my current area so I don't know what else I can do to try and verify my network connection.Emails - usually (before approx 2 weeks ago) i would receive instantly but I have been noticing 24 hour+ delays lately.
I have constant issues with apps that require an internet connection. I downloaded Skype, but it doesn't work, only on Wi-Fi. I downloaded Joiku Hotspot, doesn't work, apparently because my 3G network connection profile is named wrong. I downloaded WhatsApp, again, doesn't work on 3G, only on Wi-Fi. Now, the latest problem is with Fmobi, which I paid for, and guess what happened. It doesn't work. The 3G connection arrows are full and on, so the connection is active. I just don't know what to do. I guess it must be something to do with the network carrier right?

I've had that capability for 2 years now on this bb (8530), OS 5, and suddenly it stopped working and asked me to sign in with my blackberry id but I can't now. I've done a security wipe, I've updated via pc with the bb desktop manager and I've reset the phone via CDMA screen (##231898). I've spoken to four live advisors at my provider's call center (Virgin Mobile) and nothing has I've tried has added back my data services. Now they say my only option is to buy a new phone as mine's out of warranty. with My phone works fine. I can receive and send texts as well as phone calls. But I can no longer set up email, go online, or go to app world but I'm still paying for unlimited data service. There's just the "hotspot browser" (for wi-fi) and I need the "internet browser"! There is just that one option now to choose from and there's no way to delete it either.
View 1 Replies View RelatedA weird thing has started happening on my 5800 in that certain apps seem to have started failing to connect to the internet. If I use the browser then I get the connection choice menu i.e. WAP or WiFi, but certain applications have stopped giving this choice and therefore just sit there doing nothing. The only way I can get them to do anything is by connecting to a WiFi point first via settings then starting the application. This is okay when I'm near a WiFi point but it means cannot use these application properly on the move. The apps that are affected are Gmail, Googlemaps and Forcea Weather.
If anyone has any idea on how to fix this then I would be grateful for your help.
I have a Blackberry Curve 8520 and just recently the internet doesn't work and neither does BBM and any app that needs the internet like Facebook and Twitter, emails and BB App World doesnt work properly too. I also noticed that in the top right hand corner where the coverage bars are it has gprs instead of GPRS as it normally says. I've tried rebooting it at least 10 times now, nothing seems to work!
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Blackberry Curve 8520 which has been working normally for nearly a year now. Yesterday morning I found that most things were not working. I also found icons for 'music sync' and games on there that weren't there before, which I have since removed. I don't know whether this is related in any way.
My twitter app says 'Twitter services are currently unavailable', my facebook app says 'A connection cannot be established to the Facebook server', my browser says 'Unable to connect to the Internet, please try again later. If the problem persists please contact your service provider.' My BBM messages are not sending to others and when I try and send an email, the red X appears and the message status is 'Service blocked'.
I purchased my Blackberry Pearl from an on-line seller and it was suposed to be new. The problem comes when I try to set up my e-mail account.I go to my e-mail set-up option and the only one that it gives me is " I want to use a work e-mail account with a Blackberry Enterprise Server" . Obviously I do not want to do this but I have no other options. I can either hit close or next and next ask me for a password from my Enterprise Server administrator. I contacted Verizon and after much run around they finally told me that this phone was connected to another Blackberry account. I don't know if they really knew what they were talking about or if they just did not want to really help me because I did not upgrade my account and buy my phone from them. It sounds to me like they are trying to say the phone is stolen since they are saying that it is connected with another Blackberry account but if that were the case then Verizon would no be able to activate the phone and I can get it activated and make and receive calls but I cannot get on the internet with it.
View 1 Replies View Relatedi bought a blackberry pearl 9105 on pay as you go a few days ago. it wouldnt connect to the internet and told me to contact my service provider, which is vodafone. i took it into the shop the next morning and the guy working there proved it had nothing to do with the network by removing the sim card and putting it into another phone, which was then connecting to the internet. he told me to take my phone back to where i had purchased it from, which is argos, and they replaced the phone for me. again, same problem. i was then told to give it a few days and if theres still no progress with the connection, then they will refund it for me. it wont even connect on wi-fi. so it isnt the phone and it isnt the network, and i opted in to the blackberry services add-on, so it cant be that either.

Please ensure your device has an active Wi-Fi connection and try again". Although I have a Full time internet access plan and my BBM is working with no problems, this message appears every time.lso when I go to Options >Advanced Options> Browser> Default browser configuration, I just find this option "Hotspot Browser".

I can't find the setup internet email account setup when I go to option->email account-> it prompts me activated accounts and account activation I can't pick an option to setup an internet email
My Blackberry Pearl 9100 sometimes encounters a problem when try to connect internet over WiFi. The Data services was switched on and APN settings were unchecked. It shows the complete signal strength of my WiFi signal but unable to browse. It hits an error message 'Unable to fconnect to the server'.
The google talk app works when BIS was connected. But, over WiFI it doesnt work.
my Blackberry Pearl 9105 connects to WIFI, however, when I open the browser, an error occurs, saying, that I have no internet connection. In the settings screen I've found that there's some problem with SVN.
View 7 Replies View Relatedi'm on 0s 6 am not at all happy that i am forced to use my mobile connection to download or watch Internet videos, phone will just connect to wifi to start with, but as soon as i start to stream a video or download it up pops 3g in top corner of screen. i know i could just turn off mobile network and just use wifi. i dont want to do this because i would also like to be able to recieve a call or text.

My company phone support guys have reloaded the phone software but still no icon and they have given up. I have the AT&T data service plan. The icon is definitely not hidden, it is just not there. I saw some posts about MMS and email not working together, and MMS and all other functions works fine. Is there another way to set up Internet mail without using the phone and the Manage Internet Mail icon?SECOND QUESTION: If I can't get this to work, is there a 3rd party internet mail download that anyone can recommend?
View 8 Replies View RelatedMy 9105 3G phone's Internet Browser logo has disappeared for 2 weeks. I used to surf internet without problem, but now I can't go to any site, even through the 'WAP' . I can only find 'Browser' by 'Switch Application' but again no internet is accessible.
I am in the UK and the phone is contracted with Three. Internet had been accessible since June when I bought it but 2 weeks ago this happened. I've tried to re-send Host Routing Table registration message, but still has got nothing on the screen, nor can I go to internet.
I also find that 'Blackberry Internet Service' is 'not connected'. I don't know whether that's a problem but actually my internet has been fine, because I can still download extra applications through 'App World' icon.
Is there a way to connect to internet through WIFI without enable data Services for mobile Network?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently took part in a Digital Connections project whereby I downloaded an app to monitor phone usage through a market research site, when I did this I had to change some internet options in order to allow it certain access.Since then however internet browsing doesn't work, I get a message which says 'Unable to connect to the Internet, please try again later. If the problem persists please contact your service provider'.Are there default settings out there that I can mimic to allow access again? Even with removing the app my settings are obviously what I changed them to but I neglected to keep a record of what they were originally. I believe its connected to the advanced options/browser push settings where there are several options to allow all/deny all/auto and allow specific. Is there any way other than restoring defaults to change them so they are correct? Or if someone has the same phone would they be able to post what their options currently are so I can mimic them to see if they work?All other functions still work as in email/bbm.

Can you give me step by step instructions on how to get them back? i try with (Resend service books, or options > advanced options > host routing tables > Register Now) but nothing work. i still cant find browser, but before it worked ok
