Installing DTM 6.0, downloaded from the web, for the first time on a Windows 7 (64-bit) Lenovo laptop consistently fails with error 1935 well into the install. Tried installing as Administrator, but that did not help.
View 5 RepliesI have a BB Bold 9650 and am using Outlook 2007. I had no problems syncing until yesterday when Desktop Mgr 6.0.0.40 got installed. Now I get Intellisync Error - unknown error reported. If I can't get this to work soon, I will need to back off the new software.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have been synching both Yahoo Address Book and Yahoo Calendar successfully for months.Suddenly, Address Book no longer synchs.Yahoo calendar still works.The problem occurs aftew Desktop reads all the contacts.It halts while "Synchronization Progress reading from Yahoo Address Book" displays.That message has displayed for up to an hour with no progress.I then disconnect and halt Desktop.I can still synch Yahoo Calendar.I have not updated desktop or device software.

After the decompression of the Files iam getting the typical MSI Mask which lists all available MSI Flags. One given Flag must be wrong or other things cause that behaviour. The calling setup.exe must cause that failure with the msi paket.
After recently updating the Desktop Manager to 5.0.1, the Redirector no longer operates. When opening it, i get the error message."Desktop Redirector has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry..."
I've unistalled Destop Manager, reverted back to 5.0.0 and I still have the same issue. This was and is currently setup with my Outlook 2003 (SP3) exchange server to forward my work emails, and it worked up until I updated to 5.0.1 last week.
Can anyone advise how to install the desktop for a BB Pearl Flip? Is it any different from any of the other phones? I read something about it needing a Media Card?
View 10 Replies View RelatedI have downloaded ver 5 desktop manager several times and it is not able to install. I have completely un-uninstalled the previous software and deleted the regristry keys, RIM. After downloading the new version of software (5.01) off of the BB website and extracting the files, it will ask to install in english and then my issue pops up: a windows installer window pops up, with information and no errors. then the installer closes. the installer closes out and will not continue. the desktop manager software will not load and i have tried several different downloads, cleaned installs and i even tried ver 4.6.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI received a notification that I needed to update the Desktop software to v5.0.1 2010-03-25 and so downloaded the 250MB file. When I clicked on install, after a few seconds I received the message "There was an error installing updates. Click here to see the updates that have not been installed". This download process has happened a couple of times. I have tried and tried to run the installation, but keep getting the same message.
I then checked the version of my BB Desktop software and found that it was 5.0.1.18 [Aug 21 2009]. The update notification is therefore for a newer version, or so it seems. Can anyone help with reasons why it wont install, or give me some pointers how to get round whatever is preventing the installation. I don't want to have to keep downloading 250 mb files every night if I can help it.
I have had a Blackberry 8100 for a while. All worked well with my old Pentium 4. I have moved ovet to an i7 processor and Windows 7. I have read a few messages on here and have corrected the USB power problem. I have downloaded and installed Drivers DM4.5_B13 and now the connection is seen by DM. I have a problem now that some of the program is in English and some is in another language! I'm guessing it's Arabic or similar. Things like Microsoft Outlook Takvim and in the fields section one side says Title and the other says Unvan or Address on one is Eposta Adres.

My phone downloaded the update and restarted. It "installed" the update and restarted again. (Saw the little android and progress bar)
After the restart, a popup came up saying "update failed"
I've installed the MotoHelper driver 4.9, and rebooted. Restart the Windows 7 machine.. When I plug in the xoom it says installing usb driver and then says MTP USB device failed to install. Not only that, then my external wireless Microsoft Keyboard with usb bluetooth tranceiver and wireless mouse (non-bluetooth) with usb tranceiver both fail to operate. Seems like there is some conflict.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI've got a BB9700, Bold 2.At home, Outlook, it syncs happily. At work, with Lotus Notes, it crashed when "updating the devide calendar". There was no issue a few months ago doing exactly the same thing.I'm not sure if it's related, but for some stupid reason I installed Facebook and accidently got the calendar to sync with facebook. I have now removed all entries for the Facebook calendar and al the Service book for Facebook calendar, so it now doesn't appear anywhere.
Facebook is blocked by works firewall, so I therefore assumed that was the problem, hence deleting all my calendar entries associated to Facebook.I've tried syncing with both Bluetooth and the cable.

View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen I connect through the USB to Ovi Suite software the phone is recognizes but the connection is not fully established. The Support Software fails to install and the C Memory appears full whereas when I view device information about 320 MB is still free out of 471 total device memory.
Also downloading software completes successfully but through the application manager installing the software returns an error that the file is corrupt.

Unfortunately, I had to downgrade back to 5.0.1 as I could not complete Organizer synchronization - I kept getting an error message saying that an unknown error had occurred. There didn't seem to be any log files I could look at to see what might be causing the problem.

i tried uploading to Internet. no dice. it looks like it's sending the file, it gets to 100% complete, and then it fails with an error 401 - unable to connect to server. i tried using bluetooth - i bought a targus bluetooth adapter for my pc. i can send stuff to the torch, but i cannot receive anything. it just sits there at 'sending', but nothing ever happens. progress bar doesn't move. i tried using email - i get an error b/c the 33 mb file is too large to send.

When I click "Install Now", I accept the license agreement, the phone 'verifies' the update and then I get a dialog box with "Unable to install Update. An error occurred installing IOS 5.1.1" And that's it - no dice. My phone is *not* jailbroken and my network connection works fine.
